Hey Guys, I'm Back!
After a write-ban of 97 days , I'm back Ladies and Gents!
It's Nice to see you all! Hope you are all Safe and Well....
Hang in there, and stay tough during these challenging times.
MY, MY.... has the WORLD changed since February 20 - exactly 97 days since I have been gone from WA.
So much has happened......here's some perpective:
- When I "left" on February 20, we were still living during our old "normal lives"
- Now we are living in a "new normal".
- The Hammer and the Dance.
Well- Needed Time
This was actually the best thing that could happen. a well-deserved break for me, something that I ultimately welcomed. The last 3 months and 9 days was my most productive days in a very long time.
Here's what we were able to accomplish:
- Our "Talking Taiwan" podcast is up to Episode #76, and is now on 40 + platforms.
We are interviewing amazing guests every week, and we are on the verge of monetizing it.
- My You Tube channel is flourishing
Now on a sidenote, here is something not important, but interesting to many.
I know some of you might be interested in how quickly your ranking can change in WA - and also how long it can stay the same. It all depends on where you are.
Prior to February 21, I was ranked #12 Ambassador. I've been an WA ambassador for 738 days. Now look where I stand. I was down to #709 a few days ago.
- After the write-ban, I remained an Ambassador for 30 days while I was completely inactive.
- Since March 20, my ranking has fallen from #25 to currently #699.
Although I know I can get back to amabassador in short order, I don't have any intention to. Been there, done that. I am HAPPY where I am now,
Just be aware, what happened to me can happen here to anyone, whether you carry out a legitimate offense or not. You don't even have to spam. When you are an outspoken person, who speaks directly to the issues, and does not mince words with their opinions, there will be some haters.
It's Great to be back, friends.
But this time I am happy to remain mostly in the background.
I will only be posting on occasion.
But will be helping as always.
My advice: Take advantage of all this platform has to offer.

I've been worried about you but I should have known you would be just fine..whew.
With you being in NYC at the epicenter of this pandemic had me doubly worried however, you are smart enough to take this virus seriously and do what was (and still is) necessary to stay safe!

I always found taking a break from certain types of work or a change of surroundings to provide a fresh perspective. When I was employed in corporate America I found some companies gave their employees vacation time they could never enjoy while they were utilizing their time off. Good companies gave employees an above average level of time away from work and required them to use their vacation time. Great companies encouraged their employees to broaden their skill set by providing opportunities to take a hiatus from their regular duties and return to academia, take a trip of a lifetime, or become a caregiver for a loved one (with full pay). Liked your post! I'm just getting started. Welcome back.
I was wondering about what happened to you - if you had PM'd me I could have started a "Free Kaju campaign" haha!
It is great to see you took you took the ban with dignity and humility letting your class shine through rather than whine and complain about it.
I'm drawn to your "Talk Taiwan" radio - when I first arrived in Asia I end up getting interviewed by a well known radio station about volunteering and teaching Burmese kids at a temple in Thailand who had no legal right to an education.
It is great to have you back, and much better as an ambassador. One final question.
I'm creating some training and may need to refer to your Speed Training course Part 1 and 2 - can you check your training and its validity today and regards to the new class of servers. The date of your training - rather excellent and picks up a huge flaw in WordPress regarding storage of images is of 2018 - a lot of advances have been made since then.

Great to see you my friend, although I have been seeing your omnipotent presence often over on FB. Glad you are safe and well!
Thanks for the reminder on my speed training, I will check it and try to make any revisions needed. Looking forward to checking out yours. Although I think much of that 2018 will still hold today because its effectiveness is rooted in an accounting process that is evergreen.
Do you have any ties to Taiwan? Yours is an interesting story, perhaps I might PM you. I'm proud of our show, we're publishing great weekly interviews from some amazing guests, and our downloads have ramped up recently on Apple podcasts, Spotify, and Stiticher.

Oh the good ol' "you have lost your writing privileges" ban. Been there and it was a hassle. The most annoying part was that you couldn't ask anyone about it and there was no warning of any kind before it happened. They should really fix that part.
I literally had no idea what I had done wrong. I was forced to contact support directly through email and demand an explanation or my money back as I was paying for a handicapped product. It was apparently caused by an automated spam algorithm and I probably shared link somewhere where I shouldn't have and they eventually fixed it for me.
I hope I'm not going to get a writing ban for speaking about this openly, lol! I'm not really criticizing WA for anything else than the "no warnings" approach. I just want others to know that these things happen and what can cause it.
Yup. Spoken like someone who has been through a write-ban. But I turned it into a positive experience. Stay safe and well.

I can see already lots of people walking around without masks in my neighborhood. I will continue to socially distance myself and wear a mask, etc. That second wave danger is not a figment of someone's imagination. 😕
