Back in Brooklyn at the Iconic Central Library
Felicia Lin is back at the iconic Central Library in Brooklyn on April 8 for a workshop called The Instagram and Facebook Digital Media Summit.
Once again the workshop is being sponsored by Score NYC.
Her first 2019 workshop at the cebtral Library “Instagram and Pinterest: Your Visual Marketing Tools” was a great success!
An Honorable, Beautiful Space Depicitng Arts, American Literature, and Science
This is Felicia's 2nd seminar in the great borough of Brooklyn at the Central Library at Grand Army Plaza.
The Grand Army Plaza Central Library was first opened to the public on February 1, 1941. It has a golden façade, sweeping grand lobby and vast contemporary and historical collections, it has been a Brooklyn icon since its opening.
This great Library was designed to resemble an open book; the very impressive highly detailed Art Deco detailing were created by sculptors Thomas Hudson Jones and Carl P. Jennewein.
Its 50-foot-high entry portico, set into a concave façade that reflects the elliptical configuration of Grand Army Plaza is ecertainly its most striking feature.
There are fifteen bronze sculptures of famous characters and authors from American literature which adorn the doors prior to walking in, framed by columns with a series of gilded bas-reliefs depicting the evolution of art and science.
Central Library joined the National Register of Historic Places as it was designated in 1997 and also in 2002 as a New York City Landmark.

Yes, I can certainly see that. Will put it on my bucket list for my trip to NYC whenever that happens to be.
I try to go to these type of workshops in Columbus when I can. Last summer there was a Community Boost by Facebook. This was an all-day group of workshops spread over 2 days free. I even got to meet Cheryl Sandburg. They had kiosks and tables for Creative, Instagram, Advertising and marketing for small business.
Of course, we can not match the size of New York City, but for a Capital city, it's really improving.
Suggest like you that everyone if given the chance in their area to seek these opportunities to learn in person various marketing and online processes along with other like-minded entrepreneurs.
