Andy Warhol Exhibit Amazing!
Last niight was one of the final showings of the outstanding Andy Warhol Exhibit at the Whitney Museum in the Meatpacking District.
This exhibit has been going since late December and it is about to close.
On this absolutely gorgeous early Spring evening in NYC, the was a slight chill in the air, but that stopped no one - the lines for the Whitney to see Warhol were around the corner.
Not only were we one of the extremely lucky latecomers to get in, but since this was the final Friday, the price was FREE!
Now how good is that!
It was full of vibrant colors and truly spectacular!
This is certainly an eye-candy post.
Warhol is Warhol!
In addition to the famous ones, there were also the strange ones, the macabre ones , and the bizarre ones!
Does anybody remember Pia Zadora!
Quite an arresting collection, plus they have a really cool elevator....ooops!
(((((( What Happened!!) ))))))
I had other great images to load, but it now wouldn't allow me to load these images.
Sorry Friends, I suppose I will have to be optimize them all going from here.
Too Much COLOR DENSITY!!
This is to be continued.
Hope you enjoyed these Warhol's so far!
Cheers,
Kaju

Pia Zadora! That was a long time ago as I remember. Glad you got to see this before it left town. Certainly was the right price.
Thanks Kaju, love heard about your adventures.
Just in the nick of time, Cowboy! Pia Zadora will be soon coming to your Town in Everywhere, USA!
Really great exhibit.
Many have tried to imitate him but Andy
will remain unique and the king of pop art.
Is it Wahrol who said that we all have our
fifteen minutes of glory?
So I wish us to be as talented as him in
our field and to have more than just
fifteen minutes of glory.
Have a great day!

Those paintings of Warhol reminds me of Peter Max's painting, so bright. Weren't they friends?
Yes, I'm sure they were. They do remind me of Maxx's and I believe they used the same process Kelly.
