An Interesting Observation about Our WA Content

I’ve taken a short well-deserved break today from writing my own website content after writing 23 posts and 50k plus words for the SAC.

Back on the horse researching and writing tomorrow!

That’s the only reason I had any time to muse over something interesting I haphazardly noticed, and thought it would be interesting to share this.

A Change in the WA Algorithm

It used to be that “inflammatory” WA posts were immediately removed and taken down; I’ve seen this happen too many times in the 2.5 years I’ve been here at WA.

To a lesser degree that still holds true here at WA. I still see posts being removed (when I click on email notification, it still reads “Oops the Post no longer exists!), but not nearly as many.

And they should. Any post that is not contributing to the community, and chastising someone or unfairly criticizing something should be dealt with accordingly.

However, I just noticed something quite interesting about the “new” WA algorithm. It has changed.

Now longer is this a black and white issue about removal, there are shades of grey in-between.

And that’s a good thing.

“Flooding Content” Post

Check out the post I wrote yesterday, “Flooding Content” it needs no introduction.

Flooding Content

This post created a “wildfire” of comments and responses with over 300+ comments and responses, of the recent WA posts.

This post created quite a stir, but that was not my intention.

As you can see, in the “My Post” right column where it shows all of your "Most Popular" WA posts the last 2 months, this post should be on Top with 303 comments and likes.

Yet the algorithm doesn’t want to recognize this post as my "Most Popular" and most engaging post in the last 2 months with 300+ comments and responses,

Why?

This is my theory: it is because it has now been programmed not to acknowledge any “inflammatory” posts!

Here is the interesting part.

But that was NOT the case with this post, and from what I can see the new algorithm for acknowledging WA articles PROVES IT.

The “old” WA algorithm would have automatically removed this post due to its “inflammatory” nature (now watch after I write this that post gets removed! Lol!).

This was evidenced by the many interesting debates going on within the post.

It didn’t.

The algorithm got smarter.

This proves one thing: as much of a “wildfire” this post caused with a deluge of comments and responses (not all in agreement with one another), the algorithm or humans behind the scene still also recognized this post that I created was an extremely HELPFUL post.

A post that we could ALL learn from.

A post I could learn from.

Which it was.

And that was the intention.

I had several questions I needed to get answers for myself, and apparently these were many of the same questions the community also wanted to know the answers for.

***UPDATE****

I guess I was wrong. The post has been deleted from your view, but I can still see it. This is the first time in a long time one of my posts was deleted, and it only has happened after I posted this NEW post.

We Learned, We Debated

Here are facts.

This turned out to be a very helpful post for many.

And a very intriguing conversation where we all learned.

Everyone who knows me, knows I would never make any assumptions or judgments about a person’s character or integrity.

I am one of the most “un-judging people” you will ever meet. And I am always posting positive and inspirational content.

And if you carefully read my “Flooding Content” content, this post makes it evident that I CLEARLY never made ANY assumptions or judgments about Tiffany’s integrity.

Only posed questions.

And I PM’ed her FIRST before I ever wrote that post. Only when I did not get a response and I wanted to ask the community for possible helpful opinions and answers, did I post “Flooding Content” on WA.

Most people (with a minority of unfair exceptions) who read that post in its entirety could clearly see my good intentions in the writing– this post only posed important questions that we all wanted answers for without passing any judgment.

Anyone who chastised it as “judgmental” clearly did not read the content of my post.

This was meant to, and turned out to be a GREAT learning experience for myself and for many from all of the comments that were posted.

As a result of my post, Tiffany posted a video in response to how she updates and optimizes her content by publishing many posts in one day that we all will learn and be better for.

And that wouldn’t have happened had I not posted this article.

These create awesome learning opportunities we can all share, which is what makes WA the Great Interactive Learning Community it is.

Tiffany, sorry if this post created a stir, I never meant that post to erupt into a “wildfire.”

You are a great member of this community.

We have always been friends, you know that.

And as far as I’m concerned, nothing has changed.

All the Best in your Continued Success!

Cheers,

Kaju

Hi Kaju,

I didn't read your post, but definitely, it is always good to know our boundaries. I have not seen anything wrong with your posts.

by the way, I like to keep in mind that we are here to further our careers and businesses.

I am respectful to others sometimes, and I see weird titles and indeed misleading posts, but I don't get caught myself in the drama. I will let Kyle and his team deal with what they think they want to keep or go in the posts.
I am relatively new here, and I am focusing on one thing is to pursue my dream of helping others, but also making my business a success. I am an honest believer that time is a gem and very valuable.
I have received great feedback and encouragement from you, so keep the excellent work, and I wish much success in the SAC month 2.

All the best,

Ana

That's always the best way not to get caught in the the drama, Ana. Great attitude, I try not to get caught up either, but when your post causes a "rage" sometimes you are pulled into the wave without wanting to.

Wishing you Great Success here at the SAC Part 2!

Kaju

Hi Kaju,

I read your Flooding Content post very carefully (language barrier, LOL, I always read slowly and pay attention to details!) I didn't find anything judgemental in it. I dropped my eyes to the comments, and the top one happened to be Tiffany's response. I didn't read any other comments and didn't leave one myself (sorry!) because I rushed to find out the answers to the questions you posted. I learned a lot from this conversation and unintentionally skipped all the wildfire. For me, it was a very positive and helpful experience.

I just wanted to express my gratitude to you both. Thank you, guys!

~ Julia

Your comment here is GREATLY appreciate Julia, Thanks so Much!

Most people found it very helpful content, there were only a few malcontents who tried to "spin" negative connotations on it, but that didn't work.

Those who read the post (like yourself) saw and appreciate the good value in it:)

Kaju

I have to say I was happy the post was written in the first place or I would have never seen Tiffany's video of how she did it.

I'm glad that most people got a positive from it and if you got a negative, then maybe you need to go out in nature and go for a ride on a nice new e-bike you can get on my site. LOL

Andy
http://HIeRider.com

Me too, Andy, was very happy and we all learned from this post. That was my intention, and it succeeded.

Haha! I don't mind getting a negative, because overall it was positive. And I have a copy to read, so in the end its the WA'ers who didn't get a chance to read it (before it was taken down) who are at a loss:)

I'll go check out that E-Bike!
Kaju

Thanks so much again Andy:) I have a new You Tube channel where I'm producing great content.
Check out our great Tokyo story as well as my Efren Reyes match win video play by play:)
Send me your YT link and I will Subscribe. You can Subscribe to my channel here:)

If you don't yet, I will happily return the favor when yours is up.:)

Haters will hate. Go getters Cant be caught. There's Leaders VS. followers. And also neutral people who will still follow.

" Go getters can't be caught ".... I like that. Nice!!!

There are "all kinds" Raen, it doesn't matter. You just keep navigating and moving higher!

Apparently the Flooding Content post is gone. When I clicked the link, it took me back here and it no longer shows it in your posts...

Bummer, I would have liked to have read and learned from it, as well.

Best wishes,
Karin 😁

Not for me Karin....I have a copy of it if you want to read it (lol!)

Yes I would please.

:):)

I thought your story was fine and I really liked Tiffany's video -- and I agree -- we all learned something worthwhile. Thanks.

Thanks Fran, yes we all learned something, and yhat's what WA is all about!

unfortunately arguing with the Umpire never works well.
We all have opinions and why should the Algorithm arbitrate the answers unless blatantly biased or unethical.
Sometimes it is not so.
Just keep up the good work Kaju and don't take it to heart, life is too short.

Peter H

Thanks Peter, I honestly really don't..I've been doen this road before.

That post was great content that people learned from. Even though they took it down, I have a copy of it. so always retain a copy of the posts I write, No loss and all gain for me.

Kaju,

I do agree with your many points made in your post above which further support and explain your Flooding Content post.

I know your spirit and all you do to contribute to the platform's knowledge, education, enrichment and goodwill. Some, based on cliches they may have will find it even harder to believe that you are a New Yorker, given your amazing personality.

Whatever the case may be and whomever those who have found your Flooding Content post to have started a wildfire here, I wish that this post and your overall conduct here will let them see and recognize you for who you really are.

I for one, I am most honored to be your WA friend, and I know many others are of that same mindset too.

We have learned new things from the post and replies thereto.

Let us retain the positive aspects and continue our collective journey here in harmony.

Where we go one, we go all.

Blessings

Wonderfully stated Gabriel, Thank You so much for this:)
This has happened before, and I'm sure it will happen again. This is how WA "fans the flames". No bother for me at all.

I've already moved on to the next. It's the WA community members who have not read this before it was taken down that will be missing out. I have a copy for myself.

Thanks, and Onward we Go to Part 2 of the SAC!

LOL, good eye. I wouldn't have ever noticed, but i'm always 12-17 hours a day usually working in one fashion or another in my "own little world" to where I wouldn't have even paid attention. Which probably isn't a good thing as I try to teach awareness lol bahahaha. I skimmed over your flooding post, but I really didn't pay close attention and didn't look at any of the comments, but this one did catch my eye more so lol..

So, not talking about that post but life in general. The world is however one individual perceives it. Each and everyone single person lives in a different reality. That's why witness accounts to crimes are rarely accurate or consistent with more than one witness.

I also know with language barriers, and just the way people read things in the internet world there are a lot of misinterpretations. Sometimes, people read what they think is coming next, not with what is really written. They jump to conclusions with things they are programmed to believe what is next by past experiences.

So even when I'm writing content, I try very hard to be really clear so someone can't misread what I wrote, or take something the wrong way. Because, boy will people do it, and fight you on it with passion LOL. As my main niche site is spiritual but not religious trust me lol I can stir some crap even when talking about very positive things.. Bahaha.. Every day is a lesson. As I said before, I don't even know what happened with your last post I honestly wasn't paying much attention other than you had success and you wrote a lot of stuff..lol

Just thought I add my two cents worth about what I have no clear about. :) Have a blessed day!

You are SO right Sara when you say, ".....I also know with language barriers, and just the way people read things in the internet world there are a lot of misinterpretations. Sometimes, people read what they think is coming next, not with what is really written. They jump to conclusions with things they are programmed to believe what is next by past experiences."

It was very helpful content. I never worry about how my material is construed, because sometimes no matter how careful you word your content, you will get people complaining.

This was very helpful content to many people.

This is what happened here, WA recently within the hour cloaked the post from view except of mine, which does not surprise me. I've been here a long time and have seen it all.

Hi Kaju, I really don't want to be the first to comment here, but, I have learned a lot from you and I'm quite sure your morals and integrity would never intentionally degrade another member here at WA.

During the day I read many of the comments to your post both negative and positive. I also read Tiffany's rebuttal and training post to your post. All of her comments and training explanations were well made.

And, I think what you have written here should calm the storm. it is sincere and full of valid points. I hope we can put this behind us and move on. I respect both of you and I for one need both of you to carry on positively and with the integrity we all know both of you are capable of.

#thewealthyaffiliateway

Cal

Thank You so much Cal. I really appreciate your sentiments. They mean alot to me.

That "Flooding Comments" post has been taken down from view within the last hour. You are too new here, but WA does that when post causes too much controversy, or becomes inflammatory.

WE are all here to learn, and they was a great learning post. Unfortunate, but I am already on to the next step:)

Kaju

You handled all of this with class and integrity...time to move on to SAC Month 2

Thanks Cal:)
Looking forward, Kyle's Part 2 is already OUT!!!

Lets Go!
