Core “Business Start Up” Training

Getting Started

I am trying to get a website in order its Justwinethings.com. My head spins everytime I get on the Dashboard. I can't seem to make order of the chaos.

Start fresh with the training here. It walks you step by step through everything from menus to content creation and more.

I would follow these classes to help you understand what to do.

I hope that helps you

What are some good classes on setting up the pages on my blogging website?

I am great at content but terrible at arranging the site itself. Things like which posts are a blog and which are a page, what titles to put where, links, etc.. The back office

I would learn to build it myself; initially, I would worry about content until your site started gaining traction and traffic. Then I'd think about designs and customizations.

It just takes a little time and practice. That's exactly what the training lessons go over and how we all learned. There's some solid expert classes on all things Wordpress too. I'd give those a try.

Can I hire someone to arrange my website for me?

I am sort of new to this and I'm being held back with site design. I'm trying to create an informational site all about wine and wine-related products. It seems I can't past th

Visitors to your site need a way to find your content easily. So by creating categories (sub topics) it is much easier because you can assign a category to each post and a category can be.put in a menu.

Pages cannot be assigned categories ( without doing coding) therefore a main page can be called the Parent page and have links to its related pages so they can be easily found as well.

I can see you have pages mostly on your website, and an empty blog page organized for your posts.

However you may hover over posts and then select categories and make a wine category, you can then include the coolers, racks, carts, accessories, clubs, gifts and party as subs also categories.

Then when your write posts you can assign them to their respective categories. You can also assign a post to more than one category.

Resoruces

You can add any "post" you want to a Category that you create. This is done within the post editor, inside of your Wordpress back office. Wordpress actually has an excellent resource available that will walk you through everything you need to know about categories Annette.

You can check that out here.

What is a really good and simple email auto responder?

Two popular ones are AWeber and SendinBlue.
If you do a WA menubar spy glass search you can find additional tips for setting them up and using them.

You may use Aweber which is free for the first 500 subscribers and also it is affiliate marketing friendly

Tutorial

Let us know how you get on.

I'm trying Email Subscribers right now. We shall see how this goes.

Awesomeness and kindly let us know how you get along.

There are a few to choose from, mostly just a personal preference, as many of us use a variety...

AWeber
GetResponse
Constant Contact
MailerLite
SendInBlue

To name a few...They ALL have a free version that will get you started. Take a look at each one, or wait to hear more from others who may give you more info than what I have provided for you here.

Is there a website like Fiver except for content and articles?

Not a good idea!

Odds are you'll get something which has already run somewhere else, something that's machine-generated (which Google can instantly identify), or something that's not really targeted to your keywords for maximum performance.

I know that writing an article can seem like a cumbersome task, but think of it as a way to have a conversation with your readers. You alone can make that a personal experience as you answer their questions or share information about your topic. It's a wonderful exercise to truly learn how to recognize quality content by going through the process of creating it.

Truthfully it is better to write your own. Then you will know they are original content. Buying content means you are probably getting duplicate content and that will not be good for your website. Search engines have a way of checking for duplicate content and it is a no-no.

Did you choose a niche you know something about and are passionate about. It is better to take your time and write good helpful content that to add duplicate content. You can use answersocrates.com to find questions people have about your niche Answering these questions can be content for writing several new posts.

Not recommended.

I would write quality succinct content addressing issues in relation to my niche with a good choice of targeted searchable keywords worthy of your visitors attention, onward sharing onto social media platforms for organic outreach.

Hi - there is a website where you can buy ready-made articles that are guaranteed not to contain duplicate content.

However, it's very expensive, with the cheapest article being around $38, and even then, that only gets you around 400 words, which is not enough to rank highly on Google.

https://www.constant-content.com/

You can't purchase content or articles if you did that would be considered duplicate or plagiarised.
Your content or articles need to be written by you and be original.
The only other option as you mention is to use Fiver, Upwork as an example.
