I have done some touch ups on my website building-financial-freedom.com and would like to have some of you to take a look at the article I have reworked. I am using the review thread in the training to request this.

Thanks,

Hi Jerry,

Great job, but I will like to ask you some questions about your article " How to Choose the Right Financial Advisor-Review."

Did you think of your competitors before writing your article? Are you using keyword research for your pieces?

My point is this. You are competing with big sites such as usnews, Forbes, CNBC, etc. These are big sites in terms of ranking. It will be almost impossible for you to rank on page one.

You ought to go long-tail keywords and focus on the keyword you can rank for. It is all about helping your audience. If you can not rank on page one, how will they get the help they need?

If you compete with these big fishes, you have to focus on a longer article in terms of word counts (it will still be tough to beat them in this fight).

Your article did not state step by step how to Choose the Right Financial Advisor! You have to break it down. {The sites you are competing with should be your guide}

Please focus on review programs and topics your audience is searching for and not the topic you love to write about. If the objective is to make money, you must have an audience in mind as you write.

Also, I believe white background will be great.

Note: Alway look at your competitors' writing and try to out-rank them with more detailed articles.

Regards

John

John,
I appreciate your comments. They give me further insight as to what my audience is looking for.
I did use long-tail keywords to write the article. I will need to look a bit deeper.
I gave some general steps for a person to take when looking for a financial advisor. Remember not everyone has a financial background.
Finding the right financial advisor is a personal journey and must be done with finding the right one. One that puts the individual's interest FIRST and not the organization.
Thanks for your comments and suggestions.

Jerry,
I found the article to be somewhat overwhelming. However, I think that if I needed a check my credit report I would appreciate the plan of action provided.

Being proactive with money management is important.
The reports contain a great deal of information., As they are prepared by humans, are subject to error.

I do not know if the information is accurate, I have not done this, but it was presented in a way that made me trust it.

One typo I wonder about- In the Ways To File Dispute section-
#3 Last word in explanation- result, think should be resort.

Errors of any sort affect confidence (Now I need to spell check my sites)

This is a good reference article for your site.
Sami

Thanks for reviewing my changes. This will help me become better at writing my blogs. I will check on that spelling and correct.
Thanks,
Jerry

It looks pretty good to me. Very detailed.

Myra

Thank you for the feedback.
