Three Years Already?
Time Flies
Has it been three years already? I remember when I first clicked on the link to Wealthy Affiliate, I knew nothing about affiliate marketing but that I wanted to try for a better life. So much has happened since then, I have two websites now and am still working on them. I have encountered many difficulties and have found ways to overcome most of them. So far I have not earned any money for my time but that is my fault, nothing to do with the training or with the community, strictly my own lack of dedication and persistence.
The WAy Ahead
How do you find the WAy ahead? Is it by looking back at where you have been? Is it looking around for whatever seems easier? Is it looking for something new?
I have asked all of those questions and many more during my time here. The only thing I can honestly tell anyone that is here working on their website is to look ahead, learn from your mistakes, overcome your doubts, have faith in the system(it does work), have faith in yourself, do the training. If you get confused with the training ask someone for help. There are many people who would like to help you succeed.
Thanks to all the people here at Weatlthy Affiliate I have made to further than I thought possible. Now that I am starting to heal I should make more progress and start making some money. Just because someone believed in me.

What a great post Jerry, I sure hope some newbies read this, they can sure learn that no matter what happens they should stick to it. WA is an opportunity, it's what each of us make of it, we do it at our own pace and sometimes obstacles befall us, we don't give up, we just dust ourselves off and keep going because we know there is a future for us with WA.

Keep looking ahead... the road in front of us is always better. In a car that may be the reason that the rearview mirror is so small, and the front windshield is so big.

Jerry, this is a great post. I am where you were 3 years ago.
It has nothing to do with the training, it's me allowing my self to be distracted by life. Focus is a little difficult for me at this time.
Reading your post shows me that as long as you don't quit you can still make it work. Keep up the great work, I look forward to hearing about your first sale.

Hello Jerry, Yes it is up to us how to learn. Need a dedication and hard work to become a successful one. All are in here. We just only need to follow the step by step of the training.
My second year in here up coming soon. And not earning any dime yet. It is all about me, not focus in one project at a time in here. A lot of nails along the rough road to my success. But, I am not stopping to find that success.

Hey Jerry, what an awesome post! Congrats on sticking with something that you clearly enjoy - building an online business and staying current with the fast moving trends of the Internet is a lot of fun and you sound excited about what is to come.
I can tell you that you are in for some MAJOR updates slated for WA in the September timeframe. We're working on something really big in the background and are getting ready to share it with everyone at WA. As you move into this next year at WA, you are going to experience these updates and hopefully love them as much as we do!
Great advice to others when you mention to learn from your mistakes, and keep looking forward. A business is not built overnight and the "money" part comes at different times for everyone. Key to success with anything is persistence, and working toward goals.

I will keep moving forward. I have had too many obstacles to overcome just to give up. The community here has been very supportive of me. Relearning the basics after a life-threatening illness takes time but dedication and persistence will pay off.
