Phase II - part 2
It has been around 5 weeks since I wrote about what happened to my house as referenced in my blog Phase II - well under way, some of you have contacted me for a progress report.
I will try to keep it short so as not to bore you with all the details
Yesterday, we had the tree trimmer over to cut as much off as he could. He was able to cut 9 limbs that were over 40 feet long off the tree so they would not damage my house in the future. This will be a true blessing for my wife and myself. We are waiting for approval on a grant that would bulldoze our house to the ground and rebuild on the same site without it costing us anything. Yes, you read it correctly zero dollars and a complete rebuild to the same size and specs as before. I am praying that this will be the case since I don't have 15,000usd to spend on my house.
I was constantly out of breath while trying to do the cleanup of the debris. My wife convinced me to go to the clinic and find out what was going on. I am glad that she did and is as stubborn as I am. My blood pressure was and still is in the stroke range and It has caused me to change
my focus about life. My faith in the Lord has not changed and will not. He is my and redeemer.
If it were not for him I would be dead.
I had written a blog a couple of months ago called Hurray, Hurray What a Wonderful Day explaining about a rare opportunity for my niche. I am in negotiations right now with a grocery company for a short term contract to go around the state of Texas to show their managers how to increase sales in their meat departments by grilling their meats for three days a week. I will be explaining the process from beginning to end. Their customers would be sampling the product after it had finished cooking. I would be paid around 500usd per week and they would pay all of my other expenses for me while I was on the road.
There is much more going on but I have to leave at this for now. I will post again soon and fill you all in on the details. My wife and I do appreciate your prayers during this difficult time and hope that you will still keep us in your prayers as we still have a long way to go.

Thank you for your prayers. They have definitely helped us. As a result of the prayers, I may have as many as 5 new income streams that could and probably should be branded.

We are still waiting on the grant but have everything in preparation mode. We have found a place to stay and rental lockers to rent if all goes well

It would be nice to be able to do that but that is not in my nature. I plan, organize and put into action much the same way we do here at WA. The only difference is I don't have a rewind or tutorials to go to.

Thanks Jessica. We are still waiting for the government. You know how slow they can be. I have several opportunities ahead of me that I will be sharing in a post later today or in the morning.

I live in Hawaii. We have been brushed by 3 Cat 4s this year. Sooner or later we will take a direct hit. I am here to build a resilient income that will be enough that I can deal with this kind of threat.
Just keep the faith and keep adding content and you will be there.
