Organizing your content
So how do you organize your content so that it is picked up by the search engines and is read. I personally follow the training that I received from my upper school English teacher. First, you decide on your on your layout. Whether it essay, bullet, combination of the two, or storytelling. Second, research your subject and if there is too much material then you will have to narrow it down to more bite-sized pieces. Third, review the body of your content so that it flows easily. Fourth, summarize your content so that you re-enforce your main points without overloading your reader. Fifth and probably the most important in most cases KEEP IT SIMPLE.
I have to remind myself of these simple rules constantly. It is easy to try to make a point and go so far from our goal that our reader loses interest and we do not make our point. Simplicity in writing our content while it may be difficult is the best choice. The words will come without effort once we have been writing for a while. Before you publish, review what you have written and place yourself in the place of your reader to see if your content is engaging, easy to read, understandable, and makes your point without overdoing it.

WOW! I love the insight you give. Thank you, now I want to go through all my posts again and look to see if I can change anything, or if I need to change anything.

Thanks Jerry for your helpful post.
It's my aim,
but it simply is complicated to keep it simple.
;-)
Ha! This is what I struggle with-keeping it short and sweet! I tend to keep talking because I get so excited about what I'm writing!!! Thanks for the reminder, Jerry:). I needed that today:)
Blessings:)

Keeping it simple leads to effective communication. Sometimes we tend to want to be " too clever " for our own good. Thanks Jerry. ~Mark
