Just a Thought
So Many Times We See but are Blind
Silence lay upon the earth
the sounds of yesterday forgotten
the joys of victory fade
The mute cannot speak of the beauty seen
The deaf cannot hear the birds singing
The strong stand unmoving while holding the weak in their arms
Power greater than ours brings us peace
Holds all in Love and Tenderness
The Good, The Bad, The Loved, The Unloved
The Strong, The Weak, The Joyous and The Sorrowful
How can we not Live and Share the Joy and Sorrows of one another without the Love from Above
The Song from Ancient Times tell of Men Strong and Weak who on bended knee did the truth seek from on High
How do we accept the burden placed on shoulders
that are Broad and full of Might
When we cannot hold an infant that is so Slight
Where do we give Thanks for a chore so full of Promise and Delight
Today give Praise and Thanks for all we see, feel, smell and touch
Indeed our Follies are such that we can only dream of His Touch.
Just a thought that has been with me since the early morning. I needed to share for all to see and reflect upon.
Please like, comment and share.

Thank you. It was on my mind this morning and I could not get it out of my mind until I posted it.

This was a thought that was on my mind when I woke up this morning and became more insistent as the morning passed. I knew that if I did not write it down it would be with me the rest of the day. I know that I will reflect upon them often.

I love this. Today give Praise and Thanks for all we see, feel, smell and touch...
Thanks for sharing.

Your post makes me think of sitting outside at my cabin at night and feeling the comfort of creation.
What better way to ease the troubles of the day than to reflect on something or someone greater than ourselves.

Such beauty in all the words, thanks for very motivating thoughts Jerry, things we take for granted daily.

These words were put in my mind when I first woke up. I could not do anything until I wrote them. After that, I was able to concentrate on the work I had to do for the day.
