Jubilation and Phase III - Update

Jubilation

It is with great joy that I share with you that although I have not been as involved with WA as I would have liked for the last 4 1/2 months(since that limb fell on my home). I have been on sporadically at best. I have been trying to keep the weather out and get funding for all repairs that I have not had the time to do my work as it needs to be done. I will give more details later.

I did a search for my website and was surprised to find it on Page One Position One. Not only that I saw some links from some of my competitors to my website. They are using portions of my blog as a means to make a point about what they are trying to sell. They are using my site to illustrate that by using quality meats, wood, charcoal or whatever you are cooking with that you must have patience to get the desired results. My competitors are using quotes from my site to explain that when you are smoking or grilling to be sure to take that extra step for the best flavor and results.

It makes me want to shout to the rooftops that I have finally arrived, but I know that this is only in the beginning. Now I have to really continue with my efforts to be labeled as an authority in my niche. I have several options open to me at this time that will shortly be put in place and will give me at minimum 5 income streams if not more and all I will do is check on the Brick and Mortar from time to time to be certain that my exacting procedures will followed.

Phase III - Update

As many of you know on August 21, my wife and I had an unfortunate event occur. There was a limb that was 45 feet long and 3 feet across that fell upon our house and do considerable damage. The best estimate we were able to get for repairs was over $10,000 US. This was well over the amount we could come up with for repairs.

Luckily when my wife was paying our water bill, she saw a flier offering help to those whose home was damaged to the point of being below standard for habitation. She took the flier and found out it was for a grant program designed to help those in need. We filled out the paperwork and sent it in. We were notified just after Thanksgiving that we did indeed qualify for the program. Christmas eve day the inspector that is used to make one of the final determinations came by and inspected our property and told us that we would l have another interview with the grant assessor for the final assessment. I received a call this morning telling me that there are two steps left before the grant can be approved. One is our property has to be surveyed and the second and last step is to sign the paperwork agreeing to have our home demolished and rebuilt as a 3 bedroom and 2 bath residence with attached carport.

If the grant is approved, my wife and I will have to rent for a minimum of 6 months to allow time for destruction and reconstruction. I have been able to secure such a place with the help of a friend from church. We were told that by January 15 we will know what the final verdict will be. Normally, people do not get to this point unless there is a 99% chance that they will get the loan.

You have to have Faith

You l have to have faith, not just for the current circumstance, that the promises He made to each of will come true. It is always in His time and season but not ours. I believe Him when He says He will provide as long as we l have Faith.
