Help (I am a prisoner)

HELP!!!!!!! I am a prisoner of my own research. I like so many others have been researching my niche diligently but my problem is that my niche is so delicious. My niche is grilling and there are some amazing recipes out there. I want to try them all and post them on my website grilling-aglobalevent.com but I will only be doing one recipe at a time until I learn how to do ebooks. What I have started doing with my research is to go back to pen and paper to organize my thoughts so that I can get rid of any clutter that is in my head so that I can make better posts to my site. Because of all the new recipes that my wife and I have tried, she has told me that we are going to have to change our exercise routine to one that is more vigorous than we currently have. If anyone has any suggestions I would certainly like to hear them.

Thanks,

Jerry

How very cool, a new hobby for you and your wife eating and exercising..lol. Sounds like you can see what your sales funnel is going to look like.. and you can always just post a video with some thoughts from you..until you are tired of eating..grin. good luck.

Talk About your lifestyle, incorporating your diets and grilling into a healthy and manageable life. Including some exercise you mention.

Bring in a new meal, recipe regularly and build up your site gradually. Grill different meats, fish, budget cuts, bangers burgers and incorporating lots of fresh and healthy veggies and salads?

There’s so much you can do.

Decide where you want to go with your business site and gradually build on your ideas and feelings.

I viewed your website on my phone. Break your paragraphs down, it may make it more inviting to read. Great content though!

Not sure if anything helps here.

You have a good base by the looks of it and a lifetime of knowledge!!

Wayne

Thanks for the look. I have an avalanche of ideas to use. It will just take time. Jerry

I can see how your would have this dilemma with this niche! Lots of good suggestions you got here: Inviting the family and friends over to share in the tastings, that way you also get lots of opinions about the flavors. Trying healthier versions and try and narrow down with focusing on starting with what you do best and go from there.

As for the working in the exercise part....humm.. Maybe eating in research in moderation and setting specific schedules to include an exercise routine for XX amount of time a day??

update comment Jerry...I had a thought jump in my head tonight while I was dancing around my living room...You can always dance! Dance while you cook, dance right after you eat...or hell, dance while you eat if you want! Yep...dancing is the key!

Jerry you do have a problem and I totally understand. My husband and I have a very similar problem. Keith is a grill master of sorts and went to training last summer with the great Myron Mixon. I am working a site for him downhomebe-q.com
But we are in the process of purchasing Tall Pines Inn cabin property in Eureka Springs, AR and plan to start up BBQ and BBQ classes with the lodging business. He has also talked about a cookbook. I have never done anything with an ebook but would love to know how. I have some of our food on my own site modernbnb.com
My suggestion with your dilemma is FOCUS. I have told Keith this as well. You have to focus you take what you do best and start with that. I know it's exciting to do it all. Like we need to start with BBQ - top 5 meat, fish, side dish, dessert, breakfast
Grilling - fish, meat, etc.
Vegan/Special diets
Rubs
Seasoning
Sauce
Safety
Cleaning
So on....
You can see he covers all aspects not just cooking meat.
If you ever want to talk ideas you are always free to call us :)

I shall do that. My wife and I may make a day trip after you get everything set up. We live in Texarkana, Tx

Oh yeah that would be wonderful!! We would love to have you.

I can resonate with what you are saying. This last weekend we fixed 10# of burnt pork belly bits, Three-family packs of chicken wings, beer brats cooked on an open fire and 8 quarts of Buffalo Chili. Although it was Superbowl weekend and we did feed 8 -20 somethings, boys during the game.
I would suggest investing in a seal o meal. That way you can freeze any leftovers for a later time or share with family and friends. And it will taste like it just came off the smoker.
I to am in the food niche also @ backyardsmokedmeats.com
Hope to see you in the Backyard.

I never have any leftovers even off a 20 lbs brisket. Jerry

Take one step at a time. Soon you will be where you want. It's really that simple. I am creating an ebook as well, I have taken my niche and segregated it like you will likely do with your recipes and from there will expand upon ideas or view point. Good luck.

I love cooking and baking and want to tell dads they can cook and bake as well. Like yourself, I have loads of receipes, I have used over the years.

It's going to take me some time but I think I will make it into an ebook and give it as a freebie in return for email addresses and build my list.

Hi Jerry. I can sympathize with your predicament. Preparing all that wonderful food and of course, you cannot waste it.

Try this: There are some of us (diabetics) that cannot/should not eat all the wonderful food you create. But, if you could come up with versions of this food that a diabetic could eat ( no sugar, low or no carbs) and still taste great I think your next recipe book for Diabetics would be a winner. Try each new recipe and taste it. If it pleases your palette then it should be a winner. If it doesn't please your palette, don't publish it. Please. It must taste good. Food is for enjoyment not just for nourishment.

Issue the new cook book under 2 different titles. One for weight loss and one for diabetics. Same book 2 different covers.

Your diabetic recipe versions might allow you to cut down on the gym time.

You are free to go.

I never use any sugar, very low carbs and low sodium. I am looking into doing ebooks. I will be using your suggestions. Thanks, Jerry

You are welcome. Looking forward to using your Weight loss/Diabetic cookEbook.

Hey Jerry,
Sounds like I would be a stuffed co-prisoner with you. Well, I would agree with you getting rid of the clutter. That's what happens to most thinkers and folk with genius in them. I haven't completed my first website yet and I am happy for you on this one (grilling-aglobalevent.com). It does look nice ! I'd suggest you begin to share your findings with your lovely family. Your children and grandchildren might enjoy visiting papas house for some good grilling. Then you and your wife can keep your usual exercise regiment as planned. Then not knowing the type of community setting you live in, I would suggest inviting some neighbors (the good ones) to sample your grilling recipes and give some sound feedback to you. You'll e the talk of the town. LOL

already on it. I am thinking of sponsoring a block party to do some hands on research for my niche. Thanks, Jerry

I just started the 100 pushups a day challenge. Day two was the day I thought I would quit, arms in so much pain. But now it is day 6 and still going strong. However, sounds like you will need cardio with all those recipes.
My wife and I would walk 4 - 6 miles a day at our local school. They allow outsiders to use the track after school hours. It was nice, gave us a chance to be together too.

We are currently doing something similar. I am thinking of giving my sample recipes to a homeless shelter if they will allow
