Persistence Pays Off

I have been trying to gain some Google love the last couple of weeks to no avail, so I thought. I went to Google Search Console and found that some of my metrics were showing up as they were supposed to. My other metrics for some reasons are not showing up the way they should, especially for ranking in google.

I decided to just type in a recent post to see how it ranked. It did not show up until page six. Another post that I had revised and updated is showing on Page 1 Position 4 in Google. I am showing the screenshot of the post in question.

This just proves what I wrote in a previous post that you must persevere daily in your journey. Do not let a day go by where you did not try to improve your content but the appearance of your site as well.

If you should ask for site comments and site feedback do not be surprised by the answers you get. The comments you ASKED FOR are relevant to you and your site. Having said that if you MAKE COMMENTS on a site be thorough in your response but do not be ugly with your remarks. We are all trying to be our best through our content and the appearance of our site. I would suggest taking a moment to really reflect upon what is being asked for and what the replies are. This is a learning experience for all of us. Try to use more than two lines to make your point when giving a comment. The more thorough a comment the better the owner of the website can do.

Perseverance Can Get You Through the Tough Times

Perseverance can get you through most tough times. You look at the obstacle in front of you and make a plan on how to overcome it. It may mean that you have to change your way of thinking about the obstacle or come at it from a different angle but the answer is there.

If you do not take advantage of the education that is available to you at Wealthy Affiliate, your chances of being successful are very small. One of the wonderful things I have learned is that to be successful in any endeavor YOU MUST BE WILLING TO FAIL.

Kyle, Carson and others have said this repeatedly for us to learn. Sadly, so many believe that just by taking the classes they are guaranteed to be successful, until they realize that success is built by hard work, education and just pure cussedness, they will not be as successful as they could be if they had just continued learning.

I have seen many people come here and give up after just a few months because they were not at the point they felt they should be. I looked at their profiles before they left and found that they had only completed 2 levels of training, if that.

The more you learn about your topic and how to BUILD your website the better you will do. It must be said however, it may take months or years for you to become an AUTHORITY in your niche. The more you learn the easier it becomes and it will show in your content and the appearance of your website.

Apply What You Learn

One of our members has a saying to each of his posts "APPLIED LEARNING MAKES THE DIFFERENCE." If I have misquoted him then I apologize to him. The phrase is true though. You must apply what you learn.

The better your education is there will be fewer mistakes. The more you apply the knowledge that you acquire, either through the classes or from members of the community, the better you should do.

If, however, you do not apply the knowledge correctly then your chances are limited. I say this from experience. I do not mean to belittle anyone for the way they apply what they learn. We all learn in different ways. We all must chart our own course.

Ask questions from the community. If the answer you get does not work then look at all the wonderful training that is gathered here for you. It is there for you to learn, sometimes through trial and error and at times from deliberate searches for solutions.

I have had several questions answered by the community and some I have deliberately searched for. The answers that have stuck with me the most are the ones where I DELIBERATELY SEARCHED FOR A SOLUTION. When you make a deliberate search for knowledge, you are open to what the knowledge is and you retain it better.

I Found Some Google Love

This post was supposed to be about finding Google Love. I have found some Google love but not as much as I want. I still have work to do with Google Analytics and Google Search Console but I WILL NOT STOP until I have found what I want.

What better day to find Google Love than Valentine's Day!!!!!!!

I suppose you could say this has been a rant. I just wanted newbies and experienced members to understand that the more applied knowledge you have the better you SHOULD DO. That is not to say that your level of success will be the same as Kyle's or Carson's. You should expect the results to mirror your commitment to learning, engaging, retaining and benefiting from your PERSONAL COMMITMENT to moving forward by understanding and willingness to fail.
