Elation or Dejection (your choice)
I have seen many posts about elation and almost as many about dejection(various different names). My question is this which do you prefer? They are both built one step at a time. I myself choose elation.
You have to build a foundation. I take each one of my success and am on the highest mountain that I can find and give thanks for the accomplishment that I have achieved. While I may not find a high mountain to shout about my failures, I am still thankful for them since they offer me the opportunity to learn what I have done wrong. I consider it to be a learning experience. After the foundation is built, I add all the attributes that ensure that my structure is sound and can withstand most assaults against it. It makes me and my business better and able to overcome obstacles that come my way.
On the other hand, if I fail at a task and allow myself to become disappointed that is the first step to dejection. Every time that I fail, if I do not look at it as a learning opportunity and do not seek out what went wrong then I allow myself to add another layer of defeat to my structure and ultimately become dejected about my project and myself.
The question is ELATION OR DEJECTION which do you choose?

There is hardly success without much initial failure. Sometimes, the more we fail the better. It makes success much more foolproof. This is because we now have the knowledge to keep doing it right by making fewer mistakes going forward.

Elation is good but dejection is also good as it gives you a chance to right your wrong, learn and then it's back to Elation.

They're both the same in that 1 gives instant smiles the other gives a moment to ponder and then a smile when you see the problem and fix it.
Dejection may vary to each person and every one of us cannot avoid it. But it can help anyone else to see the cause of that dejection when we share it. The purpose is to learn from that experience so that it will not be repeated or if possible be minimized.

Essentially, I think we should be running dejection out of town as a United Platform. Let us all be realistic, let us dream but dream with conviction!! Do not dream big with the doubt in the back of your mind that you will not make it.
Dream with a view to knowing where you want to be further down the road!

This is your power strategy - I CAN HELP YOU! Down the line we will have a particular set of skills. We may profit, if that is what we choose!
Whatever our goals, it will all be to our own personal development and advantage to ourselves and we can pass this forward, as so many do here!
