Rejected by AdSense Once Again :

I'm working on a bootcamp site here:

https://smartaffiliatesuccess.com/

I've tried applying for AdSense a couple of months back but got rejected because they said I don't have enough quality content.

I know my focus is on Affiliate Marketing but yesterday I just decided to try applying for AdSense again to see if it works.

But once again I got rejected. So I asked in the AdSense Support Forum to seek their advice. This is one person's suggestion:

For those of you building bootcamp sites, have anyone of you successfully applied for AdSense? Any experience to share?

Why bother with Adsense. Your setting yourself up for disapointment.

I just want to try it out and learn more about it. Even though I might be disappointed, I feel it's a good learning curve and experience which I can share with others in the future :)

I got rejected and I think this is because of the niche. Not because it's "saturated", but I think that is because Google tend to consider all MMO websites as potential scams. I was rejected by adwords and that was fine because I know most WAers are not accepted as well. That's why the ppc training focuses on Bing.
However, I have seen many boot camp sites with AdSense, and I was hoping to put this income stream to test. But to my surprise, got rejected 3 times for insufficient content, even though I have more than 200 articles. It doesn't make any sense, it's a bad excuse. They don't care if you have quality and honest content. Because a lot of affiliate sites are rubbish, they don't even take the time to carefully analyse your site. They don't care. I gave up on Adsense and Adwords. It's not critical for earning a full time income as a WA affiliate. Not until Google decides to slap all sites that talk about money. Lol

Haha Stefan, I can totally feel you. But you can still carry on with AdWord because I believe you don't need to get approved for that. You're paying them to place ads. How in the world would they reject you. It's a way for them to make money. Only AdSense needs approval.

Hmm, not really. Adwords is even harder, I would say next to impossible if you are an affiliate of any internet marketing training.

I tried it a few times and their requirements to adjust is totally absurd. You'd have to change your nich and also sell your own stuff, as opposed to being an affiliate. It's crazy, but that's how Google operates.

Huh? Shouldn't be. Like what Kyle taught in the training, the page where you drive your ads visitors to should not be simply an affiliate page. It should be an informative page which then lead visitors to other affiliate pages. As long as your ad and your page is relevant, there shouldn't be any approval issues.

I see. These big players in the market including Facebook are annoying sometimes.

I have applied before during the early stages and got rejected for not enough content. Have not re-applied since. So many WA members say is not worth it somehow so I just leave it for now until my website is properly filled up with more content.

I see. Thanks for sharing. That's what I was thinking as well. Got rejected the first time for not enough content. That's why I decided to try my luck again. But got rejected once again...

What I don't understand is that some other sites have lesser content and some just started a while got approved.

Yup true. It is weird in that way...

My Bootcamp site will not have AdSense or any other Ad programs of any kind as I want it strictly to make money from affiliate marketing by referring others here to Wealthy Affiliate.

I will say though that my first site, which is the one I'm currently giving the most attention to right now, does have AdSense and I'm making some revenue from it.

My first site is a gaming site, so it is surprising that they gave you that rejection message or message from their support forum. When I got approved for AdSense, there wasn't a ton of content on my site.

There are many other Ad programs out there and I honestly wouldn't bother with AdSense if they keep rejecting you and keep on giving you reasons like that.

Thanks for sharing!

I too focus on affiliate marketing like I've said. I'm just trying my luck to see if Google would accept and approve my site.

I've seen sites that don't have much content to be approved that's why I don't understand why I got rejected once again. It turns out that maybe the "make money online" niche is too saturated and Google does look out for competition as well.

That does make sense as I've heard from lots of others say that the make money online niche is extremely saturated and that it will be more difficult to make money from that, but Kyle believes it is still possible especially if you go through the Bootcamp and follow all that is taught over there and I know he's right because people have already reached the 300 sales goal a year and will be able to go to Las Vegas.

I think you misunderstood what I mean. I'm not saying you can't make money from this niche. I'm just saying in order to be approved by AdSense, they look out for your niche as well. If your niche is too competitive and saturated, it'll be a lot harder to get approved.

Oh yes, I get that and totally understand from Google's point of view in the make money online niche for AdSense approval as well as any other niche that is competitive and saturated. I was just saying that I've heard from others as well that the "MMO" niche is too competitive and saturated and harder to make money in.

It definitely is. The more competitive a niche is, the harder it is to make money.

I would move on to another affiliate program Jerry. They might get sorted out in some time!

Thanks! I'm just trying my luck.

I can't speak to much of Bootcamp but I have seen posts here from members that have been here a good length of time. They thought that Google AdSense made their sites look bad and in reality didn't generate much money unless you had a large amount of traffic coming to your site daily.
I too was rejected early on when I requested GA. They told me I didn't have enough text! After reading some of the replies I got back after posting about the rejection, saying what I stated here, I opted to not re apply.

Yeap I absolutely understand AdSense require tons of traffic in order to be profitable. Like I've said, my main focus is affiliate marketing and I'm just trying my luck again to see if Google accept my site in terms of my content, etc.

Thanks for sharing your experience

sorry to hear that

:(

I lost my Adsense account many years ago before I was even into Affiliate Marketing. (it also had nothing to do with quality content - or did it? - I still do not know why I lost that account.)

It definitely has to do with quality content. Google check for that!

Again, no, it was not for content. This was back in 2006.

I mean now. They definitely check for content today.

Yes, they do; That is why I made the distinction of the timing!

I was rejected a few times also. Did you put there code into your website?

Yea I copy and paste the code given to my head section.

So you eventually got accepted?

I still have to do that.

What do you mean? You still have to do what?
