Instant Google Page 1 Once Again

Today I just wrote another review post. This time it's VigLink Review.
After doing all the keyword research, on-page SEO and content promotion, I managed to rank on Google Page 1 Position 7 immediately after.
This time round I forgot to take a screenshot at that moment but here's the screenshot which I took 10 hours later:
When I search it in incognito 10 hours later, it's at position 9.
I've documented all the steps I took in the previous post about Google Page 1 Ranking Tips. I'm just gonna give a brief summary here in this post.
Step 1: Keyword Research
My keyword for this post is "VigLink Review". Below are the stats for this keyword:
It is more competitive than the previous keyword I used to rank on page 1. So, it shows this technique works.
Step 2: Content Research
Again, I spent a few hours researching online for VigLink, reading other people's reviews, Wikipedia, etc.
Since VigLink is completely FREE to use, I signed up for it and test it out myself as well. I've never used for even heard of VigLink beforehand.
That's how I came up with all the structures and contents of the review.
Step 3: On-Page SEO
I followed Jay's advice in his webinar:

- Meta Title
- Meta Description
- Keyword in Content
- Image Attribute
- Internal Links
- External Links
- Video Embed
- List Based Content
- Posting on Google+
I did everything necessary to make the post search engine friendly and also write the content naturally.
Step 4: Content Promotion
I requested comments within Wealthy Affiliate, shared the post on all the social media I have.
Step 5: Google Indexing
This is the most important step to see instant Google Ranking!
Once everything is done, you have to submit your new post URL to Google for indexing here:
https://www.google.com/webmast...
After submitting your URL, you can then check your post ranking in incognito or Jaaxy Site Rank or any other ranking checker.
Conclusion
If you've done everything right, your post will at least have a decent ranking. With some practice and experience, you'll be able to hit page 1 very often.

I have yet to list my pages on Google+, but Jay's method has helped me to rank mostly on the first page for most of my pages as well.

This is an affiliate tool I did not know about, so thanks for that tip. It sounds like a relatively painless way to tap into some commissions with little pain.
Also, your posts (both) are very useful to all members here as they work to go through the steps to get their own content ranked within a reasonable time...
This is not rocket science, but it does require a regimen as you go about creating and publishing content that people want to read. The steps to take before writing, as you write, and the ones to take after publishing are clearly laid out...
Simple is good...

Way to go! Congratulations. I use viglink too. Your review was awesome. It deserved that place.
I do most of these on my posts but I need to make sure I do all of them. The only one I never do is video....I need to start.

For video embed, you can embed any relevant video from YouTube or create video on your own.
The benefit of creating a video on your own for the post is that you can get more traffic to your site from YouTube. The downside is that it takes a lot more time and effort to create your own video.
But I believe it's a good strategy for SEO and also to gain more quality traffic!
Jerry, while I agree with all the points there and the steps described in Jay's video, I have to say that this applies to more established websites. I did everything (except the video embedding), resubmitted the URLs for indexing (google fetch), resubmitted the sitemap, invited comments, shared on Google+. But there's no difference in the rankings. Which makes me conclude that the steps apply to those older and established sites. I think Jay did say something about it too.
More established and authority websites definitely have more advantage in ranking well and fast.
When you're just starting out with a new website, you should still follow this kind of strategy because Google will eventually give you the ranking you deserve. It's just that Google need some time before it trusts your website more.
I think so. I might have to wait longer for me to see the results. But I like everything about this (and the previous post) and the steps described. That way, I really have to thank you because I didn't know most of the steps described. In particular, the Google fetch and resubmitting the Sitemap. In fact, I came to know more about the Google Search Console through your post. And also thanks to you, I watched the recording of Jay's class.
