How to know how many WA members are there?

27
23K followers

I'm sure many of you have thought about this question before, so do I. Sometimes we want to mention the number of members in this community in our website/review... to have some sort of social proof.

But where exactly can I find the number of members currently in this community? And we all know that the number is just going to increase a lot day after day.

Well, I was thinking about it again just now and doing some searching. The best way I realized is to look at the number of followers Kyle has at that moment.

At this point of time (23 October 2016), Kyle has 668,999 people in his network. So I guess that's the number of members currently WA has, regardless of whether they are active or not. It's the total number.

I hope this helps when you need that number somewhere for things like social proof.

Thanks for reading and have a great day:)

Jerry

Good thinking.

Thank you

Pretty smart. I never thought of that.

Thanks:)

Good thing they don't all write him with inqueries at once. LOL

Haha

This question comes again and again. The number is not public and only WA owners know it.

There are very good estimates though, and most likely the number of Kyle's followers is very far from the actual number.

Definitely there will be people not following Kyle but just by common sense most people will be following him from the start so I guess that's the best estimation for now when you really need some numbers.

You are wrong. Those followers are people who passed through WA in all times. Only a fraction remains at WA.

I don't get what you mean and why I'm wrong. As long as one signed up, he/she will be in Kyle's network.

Of course (s)he will, but this does not mean (s)he is still at WA.Once in the network always in the network.

I thought you wanted to know real figures, that is what I understand from your title. Then rephrase your title: How many people have passed through WA?

Haven't you read my post properly? I said: "regardless of whether they are active or not. It's the total number."

And it's just an estimate!

No. I read your title.

How many member means that they currently have an account but whether active or not is another story.

Think again about what you are saying. You formally cannot leave because the system does not allow this. So you call this a member? Let us be serious.

Some of those "members" have died meanwhile. I know this for sure.

Formally cannot leave?

And I'm just sharing my thoughts. Why are you so picky and specific about the actual number and meaning?

Why I am specific? You asked specific question, did not you? I was answering your title.

You want to show big number in your review because you want it to be big, go ahead and do this, why should I be concerned.

Correct, you formally cannot leave.Try it. Some members have died (this was reported by some others) as I mentioned above, and they are still members.

Haha, that title is a question but I'm not asking a question. LOL. It's just a title. I didn't post this in "Question". It's my blog!

I'm sharing my thoughts and the reason for this is because there will be many people curious about this question. I find that this can be a rough guide. I didn't say it's very accurate and all. Just for those who are curious, they can have some number to refer to.

And I didn't put it in my review or anything. Because there is no specific evidence for that. so I won't be putting something that is not backed by evidence.

You are just being too fussy. I'm sharing something many people would want to know. It's just an estimate, a guide, a rough number. Please don't be so picky about this because I'm not sharing anything specific. There are people out there curious about this I'm sure.

And btw, regarding the "cannot leave" thing, think logically, if one member left and their account must be totally deleted, that's not ideal. Because the blogs, trainings and all those assets that member created here should remain for others to see. That's also how WA has so much info and knowledge.

So the process to leaving I think is that the system will only terminate the person's account and stop the recurring bill. But the contents will stay. That's why it seems like "cannot leave". If leaving means deleting everything, then a lot of content will be deleted as well...

Your title is with the question mark. I stop this discussion now.

Having question mark doesn't mean I am personally asking a question. There is something called "ponder". It's to let people ponder about a topic and that's a way to title something as well.

Hey Jerry,

Bet there's lots of members who've NOT followed Kyle yet, making that number even bigger. Good idea using this for social proof ... THANKS!

Yes definitely

The list is growing rapidly.

Of course:)

Yes we are growing very very quickly!!!

Yea!

New members that are just ranked seem to have a higher number, I saw 695K + this morning. Not sure what the difference between these 2 numbers represent.

New member?? What do you mean?

Wow, that's a lot more than I thought!

Really? I was too optimistic about WA that I thought it's a lot more haha. But anyway this number is the minimum because there are some that are not following him.

Thanks for that information. Thought it's more than that.

It very well could be. It is possible that there are some that don't follow Kyle.

True. But I think that's pretty minor.
