Be Humble Always!
Over the past few months of my experience here in WA, I came across some people who are really not humble and cannot take criticism. I'm referring to SiteFeedback.
We all request for feedback on our site to get other people's opinion and improve our sites. But some people requested feedback and expect others to always give positive feedback about their sites. They are very sensitive about negative feedbacks or even criticism.
There's one guy replied to my feedback saying that his site is making money so he decline my feedback. He even said that his site is getting 80% desktop traffic so he don't accept my feedback about his site's mobile friendliness.
I laughed.
He even claimed that because he is already a successful franchise owner so he don't have to listen to my words. What a joke. Even the most successful people in the world may experience failure. We are not perfect after all.
How can someone be so arrogant and even "DECLINE" people's feedback. We give our honest feedback to help each other and there isn't a need for you to say you accept or decline because that's your own choice.
We all want to improve our mobile friendliness because there are many people using phone to surf the internet. So there's a huge traffic.
Anyway, I just want to say that please be humble always! Please accept people's feedback with gratitude no matter how useless it may be to you. Because every feedback counts.
Especially CRITICISM. Please embrace it because it is valuable. Successful people are those who can accept criticism and transform it into their benefit. Because they keep on improving themselves, that's why they are successful.
So always be humble and thankful for anyone who want to help! In this way, you will benefit and improve the most. This should be the attitude. That's the only way to long term success.
Never be arrogant!
Nothing and No one is perfect!

You are so right. You're only trying to help. It's what feedback is there for. If someone doesn't agree with feedback, they should just say thanks and move on. Leave it at that and appreciate that someone took the time to look at their site and give their opinion.
WA is about helping each other. Being kind. And happiness. I think that if someone doesntw have something good to say, they shouldn't say anything. True in life, business and on WA. Especially WA.

Yes. The right attitude is an important component of success. With the right attitude, you are half way there. The other half is hard work+luck+time.

Jerry, you're absolutely right. Feedback should be honest and forward, no sugar coating, tell me what's wrong so I can fix it. Comments are where we should be nice and hold back the negative because non WA people will be reading it and we don't need the negative talk, constructive or otherwise. Hey Jerry, keep up the good work, you've done this and that means you're ahead of me! So I'm going to imitate you, even though you are 40 years younger than me! Thanks for the great info, my friend!
