If i already know that the way to make money from commission based is to set up a site, get my guys to buy my products via amazon to earn the commission, why do i need to join
Where in the training does it say "set up a site, get my guys to buy my products via amazon to earn the commission". ?
It shows in the beginning of the training page where it shows how you can earn being an affiliate selling amazon products.
This is precisely the reason why am asking the question. Have i missed something on this?
I think it cannot be this reason at all that there are thousands of members.
I hope someone can really enlighten me how this whole affiliate thing works.

Ok, so I will use Amazon as an example because I love their affiliate program:) Lets say I have a website about 'cooking knives'.
I could write a post(article) about 'the best cooking knife for filleting Salmon'. On this post I could review 5 of the best knives I know of that are great for filleting a Salmon. On this post I would have images with amazon affiliate links. I would also have underneath each knife review 'Check Price From Amazon". This text would also have a amazon affiliate link which sends people to the product on Amazon. If they buy almost ANYTHING I earn a commission on what they buy.
To get people on my website about cooking knives I would be writing posts on my site targeting keywords (Phrases) that people type into google search bar. (Use the WA keyword tool to find out the best keywords). Overtime each post you write on your site gets ranked in google. Eventually you might make it to page 1 of the search engine results. Then when people type into Google your keywords the searchers may click on your website and read your reviews and click on your affiliate links. Thats how you get traffic and make money in a nutshell.
For examples of these kind of websites simply go to google and type "the best ......." and you are sure to find a affiliate site. For example "the best cooking knife blocks"

Maybe because they teach us how to build a good affiliate website? And there are a lot of good features here as well. Haha

I don't think you are missing anything. But I can tell you unless you have a niche that includes selling large priced items on Amazon you won't make a lot of money. I've yet to have made my first sell on Amazon. While I recommend finding a niche for your branded website, I would recommend proceeding to Boot Camp and promote WA. There are a lot of people who have success with Amazon affiliate sales but keep in mind there are other affiliate sources out there that pay way more than Amazon. Hope this helps,
