Hey! Does anyone know how to change the size of the header image of my website, it's way too big and I already tried to upload a new picture and crop it within WordPress, but t

Alternatively you have save the image in a smaller version and upload it

Have you tried not cropping it, but instead enlarging the cropped square to cover the entire image. I did this with my theme and it worked fine.

Although the theme recommended a smaller size, it now fits nicely across the entire top banner.

If the banner itself is far too large for your liking, the only place you could possibly change it is within appearance customize - if the theme allows you to do so.

How do you enlarge it? I don't understand....

take the square cropping box and drag it out on both sides to make it fit over your entire picture.

Hey! Is there anyone else who has difficulties finding the right keywords for your Wealthy Affiliate review. When doing research on JAAXY, almost everything is above 100 QSR or

TAhink of the problems and what WA can do for that problem

what does wa do for you
try to think about that rather than the obvious
so 'build a business with a website'
they are in there - it does take time to find them
concentrate on one main keyword and use that as the main idea- then just write the article
good luck
phil

Thanks a lot! I'll take your advice! ;)

Actually, you have to push your research and you will find many keywords under 100 QSR ! Think about keyphrase, making sense, about your niche. Type on Google first keywords and look at the list, it will give you some ideas ! Then take those keywords and submit it to Jaaxy to see the results. Hope it will help you :)

Yes thanks again for helping me out! I did it that way before so yeah, that's the best way to do! :) any questions? Let me know!

Also, when you go to the Jaaxy Dashboard, you have a "Related" section on the right, it may help you to find better keywords also. But again, what I do is making brainstorming of every single keyword and then try to associate them together. I spend sometimes 30 min to find good keywords to get a QSR under 100.

It is quite hard now in 2019, because more and more people are creating websites. You can still find great keywords and key phrases but it takes more time than before, and you have to push harder.

Okay, I see and yeah it's hard to find good keywords. I also had to do good research before using them into my content. But I'll keep that in mind! The related section on the right might be good for a keyphrase so that helped me a lot! Good luck btw! :)

Thanks ! :)

Does it matter how many words your article has? Is there a required number of words?

Don't know the exact number, but researches have shown that articles between 1600-1800 words are ranking the best..

Thanks a lot! :)

Yes it does if you want to be ranked by Google easily. Ideally, you want to write 1000+ words per article, 5 titles and at least 7 paragraphs.

Thanks a lot! :) Also for the about me page?

No for this one, you can write fewer words. Follow the first step training to write your about me page. Also, use the template of "About Me page" in Site Content, it will help you a lot.

I see and yeah I know about the template. It had 3 or 4 headings if I'm not wrong. I was just wondering if I had to add more. But thanks, now I know!

No, you don't need to add more, but you can if you want to. I think I have 230 words (100 words is the minimum required). This page won't have a "lot of importance in Google ranking". It will be mostly your firsts article and the quality of your content.

Okay great! One more question, I started my website a week ago. I already posted three articles including my about me post, Wealthy Affiliate review and one other post. I realised I forgot to place call to action buttons + I was editing my articles all the time. I thought it would be bad for SEO. So I removed them temporary. I know it's stupid...but will this affect my ranking? My website is still new so I don't know if Google already indexed me I don't think so... I will post them again today and tomorrow...Sorry for disturbing you with this! :/

Ok, for now I don't use call to action buttons and my site got indexed by Google, so I don't think it will affect your ranking. Maybe, check your site template details if it has been well designed for SEO ranking and focus on your content. Google will check the content of the article (keywords and content). If you want to check if your website is indexed or not, go to SiteManager and you will see : Google Index : YES/NO. Hope it will help you

Okay! I'll do that! :) thanks!

it depends on your niche and many other things. It depends what you're writing about. If you can say what you need to say in 600 words then don't make it any longer. However articles are appearing longer and are often over a thousand words now

Thanks a lot! :) Well, in this case it's about my about me post. It has between 700 - 800 words.

as many as it needs to answer the problem - but aiming for between 1k and 2k ( ideally towards the 2k) would be good.
but check out what the others in the top 10 of google - ignore ecomm sites- are doing.
you can use jaaxy to do this in the seach analysis tab.
so aim for an inch wide by a mile deep - in other words one topic and answer in depth.
good luck
phil

Thanks a lot! :)
