Where do I change my password?
I just need to go to my profile how?

Hey Jennifer,

Go to: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/home/my_profile and click Edit that is to the far right of Password...

your profile in wa is accessed by clicking on your image in the top left and selecting account settings.
to access yuor wwebsite password you click on websites and then sitemanager and login on the site you want to access.
i personally wouldn't change the password here as you lose sync from wa, and easy login. but note down your details just in case you cannot get through this platform
good luck
phil

Which password do you want to change? The sign in or your website?

This is also my question.

How long does it take after a video is uploaded to a custom sign up form, for that video to be processed? Is longer than half an hour or forty five minutes not good? Is that no

I just tested uploaded one of my videos on the custom sign up form and it seems to work. The audio quality was a bit off. I'll have to make a better one.

Not sure if it is working just for me or for anyone who visits.

Jenn, if you have a moment, would you mind checking it and let me know if you see the video. You might have to be logged out of WA in order to see it.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/createaccount/yoursuccess

I thought it had not optimized either and it was still processing. But I saved it anyway, then used another browser to watch it.

It still says it is being optimized even though it plays in another browser or when I log out of WA.

Maybe that's what happened to you too. We cannot see the video if we are logged in to WA. We have to be logged out of our WA account and/or use another browser.

~Jude

Hi Jude, thank you for your help. Sorry it took a day to answer this. Your video works fine-pretty cool video too. Where did you get it done or did you do it yourself? Too many questions, right lol.

I remember that you have to be logged out of our WA account first, but I think I was, or maybe not/can't remember. I may try it later on.

Thanks again!

Jenn, I appreciate your taking a look. I used software called VideoMaker FX. That's the only video I made with it so far - my first practice video, lol. Must have been the right format for it to work.

I did not originally make it to use with the custom form - I'll have to do another one for that now that I know it works.

I was hoping that yours might work too because if I had not read your post, I probably would not have tried to load mine on the custom form. I hope you can get yours working too.

Mine is on YouTube. Anyone in WA is welcome to use it and put it on their website - I don't mind. I don't think it is possible to put it in the custom form from YouTube though, or I'm not sure how one would do it.

I'll see if I can make a more generic one that does not have my name on it that WA members who wish can use as a general video ad for their site. Just don't give me a deadline...lol.

Here it is on YouTube:
http://youtu.be/g098vVZDyck

~Jude

It sure doesn't look like a practice video-it looks professional and high class.
Thank you very much for sharing, and your help. :)

Thank you! Good luck with yours. ~Jude

glad to here you got it resolved all the best

Thank you, Maxiam. :)

So did you get this resolved?

Yes. After asking around, I found out that the videos on custom sign up pages probably won't work as well, so I am just keeping the image on the sign up form, and putting the video directly on my website.

Thanks. :)

I'm not sure about WA, but usually when uploading a video to a site it depends on the quality and size of the video. Normally a host server will upload the file, then decompress and re render the video to fit it's player software. Depending on the size and type of file this can sometimes take up to eight hours, as rendering is resource intensive.

if its a small or short video and it's taken longer than two hours I'd suggest removing it and re uploading it. But like I said, I don't know the WA protocols exactly.

Thank you for your reply, I appreciate it. :)
I am going to try redoing it and make sure I have the correct format.

Hi to everyone that replied, I appreciate it. I am uploading the video to here(WA)-I am making a custom sign up page, but with video instead of just an image (as in the lessons). I just got online this morning and it says "Still Processing." This has been about from 11pm last night, so I must be doing something wrong, just don't know what.

It says it uploads to 100%, it just seems to not process.

Also, I re read my question and hardly left any info, oops! You can't help if you don't have enough info.

Thanks guys.

PS Angela-it's one of the Bootcamp lessons. :) I don't know if it's in the Online Certification Courses too.

So, you're making a sign up page on your website or here on WA? I'm afraid I'm still not quite understanding.

I making it here on WA. It lets me add an image no problem, just not video.

Are you allowed to make your own custom sign up page? I just thought the only way you could do any kind of video is if you make training? I remember seeing a comment in another post that we cannot add video to our blog posts here on WA.
Or is that what you mean? Did you make a training on how to make a custom sign up page?
Oh, it's part of a bootcamp lesson? to create this video? I think I'm finally catching on lol

No, not training. You're right, it is one of the lessons in the Bootcamp. It gives you a choice to add either an image or video-I did the one for an image and am now just trying to do the video.

Probably, I should not write a question late at night when exhausted, I was just frustrated :P

Appreciate all your help, you guys are great!

LOL, I'm slow this morning. I thought I had enough coffee but maybe not! I went around and round the mulberry bush didn't I? lol

That's OK, I go round it a lot when I ask a question, but not meaning to, haha. I need to explain more clearly when asking for help.

Hope you're having a good morning. :)

Where are you trying to upload it too?

Tell me more so I can answer your question. ~Marion

Angela asked a good question there.

I'm curious, too.

I don't know the answer (sorry) but you've got me curious. What do you mean custom sign up form? Who is processing the video?
I see questions like these and I think "What are they doing?" and "Should I be doing it too?" lol

Does Wealthy Affiliate accept members from Croatia, and is there anywhere within WA that has a list of supported countries?

Thanks!

PS Will be offline for a while,

Well, anybody can join WA but if You want to operate on the market of European Union You must obey GDPR rules. Unfortunately, in the WA training section I have not found tips how to comply the GDPR rules. Today I post the blog question here and hope that someone will share his experience and practice with us

Nice post!

It is? Lol. Thanks.

I'm from Slovenia. The Croats are my neighbors. If I can be here, they can be here also. So I'm the proof. Unfortunately I'm not proof for success, for now, but I will be over time. :)

Hi Joze. Did I spell your name correctly?
Thanks so much for your reply, and you definitely will be proof of success, just never give up. :)

Hi jen! Quite good. In fact, Jože, but probably you don't have letter ž on your keyboard. :)

Jenna thanks for your help, if you ever decide to go to Croatia let me know I can def. help :D

Hi again Dusko. :)
You are very welcome.
Thanks so much for your offer to help - I will let you know if I ever travel there.

Tell your friend anyone can get excepted as long as you have a valid credit card that can support a monthly or yearly payment of the W.A. fee. However, there are banks that limit their credit card usage for Croatia only, and those cards are for internal usage only. Tell your friend to give it a try and see! Any bank that issues a credit card with the name written on latinica(he will know what that means :-) should work for payment anywhere in foreign countries. Good luck!

Hi Mary.
Thanks so much for your reply. I really appreciate your help. ;)

Are U from Croatia? My wife and I were there about 3 years back. Such a beautiful place and lovely people!

No, I'm not. Someone was just asking me about it.
I'd like to visit there one day though. :)

I am from Croatia originaly, now live in Edmonton Canada

There are some members from Croatia, but I am not sure if there is a list we can access.

Hey John, how are you?

I think everyone from all the globe can join WA. However, I've heard of some people who had to drop off because they couldn't pay for premium membership.

PayPal did a policy change a while back to accept payments from additional countries.

Thank you Ade, appreciate your reply. :)

Good to know! Thanks for asking and all the WA folks who answered.

Hi Carla, thanks for the reply. :)

Yes Wealthy Affiliates accepts members from all countries but no there isn't a list of supported countries as anyone from any country can use this program

Thanks, Debbie. :)

Your writings lead me to maybe a dumb question lol what or where is "Media Training"

Social media is the interaction among people. We create, love, share and exchange BUT virtually.
Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, LinkedIn... to name a few.
And when you use it to make money, by getting traffic (people's attention), it's called social media marketing.

Can u help on how to start

Hi Neil. You can find the media training in Level 4 of the Certification Courses I think and in the Bootcamp somewhere, but I forget which lesson. You can also find training help if you type in "social media" or "media" etc in the search box at the top of your page. There's lots! Is this what you meant by where is it, or you meant just in general? In that case, FDavid expertly explained what and where it is. :)

The device I'm on won't let me copy and paste links, sorry.

Thank you

You will arrive there NATURALLY by following the courses.

Nice to meet you necopam, via your question. Your question is one I haven't thought of because I'm nearly a month old to Facebook (for personal use). I'm sure your question will benefit others, as well as, myself. You, too, are a brave heart. Keep safe and sound.

Hello, FDavid: Thank you for your answer to necopam. I am sure I, too, may be able to use this know-how down the road. I recently opened a Facebook account thinking it would came in handy for my WA promotions to family and friends. I really would like to help them accomplish their financial goals and dreams. However the majority of my friends know little or no English. So, I was thinking of opening a Facebook account for business only. Take care.

I think everyone agrees. Definitely separate.

Hi Sui. Thanks for the reply. :)

I vote separate--as others --!

Coach ed

Thanks for your reply, Ed. :)

Good question and some really good answers! Vel

Hi Vel. Thanks for your reply, glad you think it's a good question, Now I don't feel as goofy-a little but not as much, lol!

Facebook for business IS FOR BUSINESS ONLY.

Thanks, Fatima. :)

Like wise I use my FB page for business purposes only and intend to keep it that way.

Thanks for the comment. :)

Hi Jenna, not lame at all... or if it is I am also kind of lame because I was kind of wondering the same thing :-) Never fear, there will always be someone also thinking, or asking the same thing lol .Got some good answers to the question, and now I and others know them too.. thanks :-) take care

Haha, glad I am not alone in wondering, and glad you got your answer.

How are you doing with your site? Thanks for the reply. :)

I agree with the others' answers. Keep them separate. Can you imagine going to a business FB page for... say, a computer repair company and there are a bunch of pictures of the owner in a hot tub, a whole array of his "adorable 2-year-old" and a post from Grandma telling him how proud she I'd that he's finally making money? Not good. Keep 'em separate.

Hi Patti, and thanks for your answer.
If I saw photos like those, I would be very wary of the company and think they didn't take their business seriously.

I so agree with you. And the guy maybe a perfectly legitimate and very talented computer repair guy but his FB page makes him look like a flake. I think you're going to do great, Jenna. You're asking the right questions.❤️

Thank you, you are kind to say so.
How are you doing with your websites? I just took a glance at "That Retired Lady." That is a cool website.

Well That Retired Lady is only about a week old, so I'm still ironing out the bugs. GreatCookingIdeas.com has been going strong for 4 years and I'm not making a fortune but I get about 6000 visitors a month. That's not a lot when you look at the popular blogs that get 10,000 visitors a day. Thank you so much for visiting! What is your website?

I keep them totally separate. Then I put a link sometimes in my personal FB to my websites promoting a little that way. But, not daily.

Thanks, Sherion. ;)

Family & Friends should be separate from business ... safer for your family and more professional. (:

Thanks, Melody, you have an excellent point. I forgot about that. :)

Are family and friends supposed to be on your FB business page?

Only if interacting with you about business

Should family and friends only interact on your FB page if it's related to your business?

Yes

Use your personal page for personal interaction with friends and family. There are many details it would be best if people who do not know you did not know about you, or your loved ones.

That was very simple.
Thanks for your fast help, Terea, Miss Ambassador! :)
