Nancy and Mark inspired me to post an update about Honda. So kind of you, asking about him! I'm deeply grateful for it!

There are some absolutely exciting days behind us. After Honda's magic metamorphosis during 24 hours: He turned from very lethargic, sad and bad looking cat to overall grateful boy, looking for as much bodily contact as possible. Yes. This is what I felt the strongest, his gratitude.

He came to us with pretty heavy health issues: bad infection of the respiratory system and skin issues. The skin was so bad that we decided to treat it first, giving him only homeopathic booster for the immune system. He got better and better every day. However, Sunday night he couldn't breathe, his nose was plugged. I took him for a walk; this is what I do for me too when my nose is plugged.

On Monday after seven days with us, we needed to see a vet. It was tricky to get an appointment but my husband called every possible place around. We live in a very rural area. There is nothing to get around approx. eleven miles away. Yesterday in the early afternoon he got his physical check. We took him to a mobile service. Those guys were able even to reschedulle his appointment from 6 to 2 pm. We didn't have a transport box, so I took Hona on my lap and hoped he will be ok in the truck.

He was! What an amazing kitty!! His first ride!!!
He got antibiotics and treatment for fleas and lices. The vet meant Honda could be even eight months old boy. We thought he would be max. 12 weeks old because he was so small and skinny.

The treatments work. He was in a very playful mood today!!

The three other cats which were with us for eight months rejected him and then left us one after another. They are outdoor cats and their own lords belonging actually to our neighbor next door. We accepted this change. But, we have wished a mate for him, so they can grow up together. Our wish came true faster than you could blink your eye. On Sunday we accepted another rescue cat, Bella, an eight-weeks-old exceptionally beautiful girl that was on her way to Humane Society. Pictures will come soon.

Unfortunately, after being outdoors in the back yard, Bella didn't want to go indoors again and she turned to the wildest, tiny Cougar you can imagine. She fought anybody and anything who came closer to her than two feet.

I don't know how we managed the night:-) but we did. We worked together hand in hand, and this gave our relationship a beautiful booster. Both cats are sleeping now, and Jeff and I try to catch up with our work.

Our friends here in Kalapana gave us important support get stuff together we needed: Now, the tiny Cougar has a nice harness and leash, and we could also borrow a transport box. Other friends lend us a gas weed whacker what allows me today to use this sunny day and trim all the greens. This is my job for today.

I apologize by all of you, guys, not being able to respond to comments and messages. I need to take care of all these things here. I will be online again next days and catch up.

I wish you a great time and look forward to every single response I missed out.

Actually, I miss you already, guys!!! Yes, I really miss you!!!

Talk to you soon!

Be well! Wishing you success and joy!

Aloha, Jenna

YAY! Thank you for the update. You are such a wonderful person for taking care of the kitties around you.
I look forward to more updates. :-)

Thank you, Nancy!!
They are beautiful in and out!
Honda is a healing cat. He assisted Nani in her anger the entire time she spend in the box. We couldn't do anthing else when she was a beast. He was sitting an inch away from the box while she was hissing at him like crazy!
Such a great boy!!

OMG....I just looked at the pictures. I'm in love. So happy for you and Honda and Nani. :-)

Hi
I have 2 cats myself. They are siblings and come and go as they please. There is rarely a dull moment with a couple like them in the house.

Often they proudly deliver a mouse or a rat on the living room floor and expect a reward in return (luckily they never take birds)

Stefan

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with me, Stefan!
Nice meeting you here!
