Aloha Everybody!

Yesterday I requested comments on SiteComment. The first comment for my good 1000 words program review arrived 45 sec later.

I have gotten seven more comments and approved them one after another, except for the first one.

This comment contained three questions and one short sentence and was based on the title. This is for sure.

Before you continue to read, answer this question, please: Would you approve it?

Would it be a visitor on my website, I would be happy about this comment, for it opens room for me to answer the questions and add some information.
But because it was one of us, I guess I expected more attention.

How I benefited from this comment?

The comment showed me once again HOW IMPORTANT it is to have a good title. It should contain the essence of your post.

It offered me the questions to add more valuable information.

I decided to approve that comment, and I'm good with it.

However, I probably won't approve such a comment again.

We work together and support each other! Right?
We benefit from each other's work and findings. Right?

I would never only grab the title of a blog and make up a comment from it. I find it is important to honor and respect each other's work.

At the SiteComments, there are not many articles to comment on and I often read about struggles to catch something there to comment. Therefore, if you don't have time, leave room for others to leave a comment. There are many members who would be happy to comment and put some more effort into it!

Thank you for your time and effort!
I'm looking forward to your thoughts, experiences, and opinion!

Sending much Light and Love!

Aloha, Jenna

Hi Jenna,

I've never used this new Site Comment Feature.

I read at least 10 blogs a week, each and every week unless I get an email about another post to read.

This is how I do it. I find 10 blogs in which I like ( you know the kind that interests me and ones that I like to bookmark for later reading).

When I find a blog that I like, I sign up for her email list. That means I visit the site on a regular basis. Reading and commenting on her posts.

Then I write blog posts referring her site and her posts. I'll even put her website on my blogroll (not the kind of blogroll people do today) on my front page giving her a back-link.

I don't do this unless I'm active, reading her posts and commenting on it (otherwise, it would be considered black hat stuff). The site needs to be relevant to mine. I read her blog to learn.

Then I look her name up on Google to find out more about her. Did she write a book? Does she have other websites? Who is she associated with?

If she's written a book, I'll look it up on Amazon to see if she has an author's profile page. (I usually do this search in reverse to find a website I like to read and comment on).

If I like the book, I'll purchase it to read. After I've read her book, I'll then write a review on it.

I'll do ten blogs this way.

This is the strategy I've used for my StarvingMIllionaire. com site 10 years ago.

Thanks for this inspiring post.

You've just gave me a million dollar idea.

Pete Weaver

Wow, Pete! This is a great commenting strategy! But also time-consuming! I couldn't effort that amount of time right now.

I used the feature for the SiteComment for comments on my website feature for the first time. But I already commented on other articles.
I don't comment if I cannot relate to the content. When the blog gives me the opportunity to try or practice something, I will do it.

This tool is good especially for the beginners to practice commenting and respond to comments.

My pleasure, Pete! And keep me posted how your 1-million-dollars-idea is progressing! Very curious!
And very happy have given you the spark for that great idea!! :-))

Keep in touch!
Aloha, Jenna

Good evening Pete.

My compliment on this great strategy you have developed.

Greetings from the south of Spain, Taetske

Good Morning Jenna,

To answer your question, I would be p...off. It has happened to me too. When I give a comment I also go to the About Me page to get more information. It takes me at least 15 minutes and sometimes 30 minutes. While I read I am writing my comment on a piece of paper, This is WORK. Therefore when people answer the moment you have pressed the request button it shows disrespect and disinterest for my work.
I have not disauthorized these comments but might change them a bit or in my answer, I might let them know. I can always change it later on my website if I wish.

Greetings from the south of Spain, Taetske

The 'About' is really important and website owners simply forget, Taetski, about the importance.

You are right, too that helping others through comments is actually work.

Here, we strive to write nice things to make nice things for our members and make things nice if you get my meaning.

I'm not sure that this should be a feature to be continued as a 'paid' privilege. Yes, you can pay to have positive comments on your site, and add content volume...but is there any actual value?

I believe not.

Your friend from Southern Ontario.

Pavlo.

Good Morning Paul,

To be too nice in your comment saying fantastic, awesome, and wow to me does not look natural, too forced for my taste. When it gets too bad I will modify the comment.

I am straight forward and only if I think that particular post is very nice, helpful, etc I will say so in my comment.

I agree with you it should remain natural otherwise I also think this type of comment is not favorable to a website.

How is your issue getting on? are the pills helping?

Greetings from the south of Spain, Taetske

Good morning, back to you, my friend from the South of Spain.
I think for the most part, that we agree on 'agree..'

Hey, Listen...
Thank you for your concern.

No more pills. A new generation of Drugs...

Injectible Biologics.

Truly amazing, Taetski. Look into it.

I am now on, Cosentyx which replaced some very dangerous choices before : Methotrexate and Prednisone.

My Arthritis and Auto Immune issues are now in remission with very few side effects that can be taken care of through proper diet and exercise.

In my opinion...there is a 'benefit' side to modern 'pharma' and the same and should be looked at more carefully.

I recently had an acquaintance die because she would not even consider the 'traditional' medical model. She was only in stage 1 at the beginning but let it go for 'alternative' measures. In the end, the alternative measures did not work. Sad story.

Keep well my dear.
I would love to go to Spain. But there is still so much of Canada.

Perhaps another lifetime.

Kindest regards,

Paul.

I had to look that up to understand, here is a link.

This does have side effects so one should be selective and use it as little as possible. The side effects should not outweigh the benefits.
There also seems to be an issue with having people to have to pay for it as not all insurances will cover this rather expensive new medicine type.
Anyhow it is good to hear it functions for you. It is, of course, necessary to have a serious look at lifestyle and food. We often cause our own conditions by not taking care of ourself.
About coming to Spain, one never knows what the future holds.

All the best from a sunny south, Taetske

Very refreshing that you have your fingers on the pulse of what is happening both naturally and biologically.

Thank you so much.

Have a great day from a very outcast and cold Southern Ontario.
Spring has not yet arrived this year so far.

Paul.

Poor Paul, here are some spring flowers.

Thank you. Just came back from doing some 'bloodwork.'
Nice and pleasant surprise. Accepted with much needed gratitude.
Peace and love from Southern Ontario, Canada.

Paul.

Thank you for sharing your experience with me, Taetske!
Yes, this is the way to do it!
I put lots of energy into commenting too. I'm driven by the desire to learn and to support! I want the comment is benefitting the other person as much as possible!

Good evening Jenna,

By the way, did you notice the Spanish bee I managed to photograph sitting left of the 28 on the photo I sent Paul? I needed my magnifying glass to see him

I got my 2 posts published today, it was a marathon to get it ready as we are so busy with the speed. Sylvia told me that your plugin was doing a great job.

Tomorrow I will check the speed of my new post which includes the new load up method of photos. If it is positive it would mean we have to redo those thousand photos. Before that, I will then make the last test with your plugin. I am keeping my fingers crossed for myself.

Higs from the south, Taetske

Hi Paul!
I prefer honest comments, not "nice comments"! I use the credits I earned with commenting, feedback and training to pay for the comments. All is a lot of time and a quite bit effort, and it is great to get comments back from people with comparable attitude.
But of course, it is not always that way.

Thank you for your support, Paul!
Aloha, Jenna

Cheers. The credit system is good here.

Paul.

:-) I didn't see her. Beautiful!! Big one!! Beautiful flowers!!
Love the color!

I keep my fingers crossed for you too!!!
Many higs from Hawaii to Costa del Sol!
Aloha, Jenna

Yes, it is! The system is built to learn and serve.
Beautiful system!
Aloha to you, Paul!
Jenna

Then there is this story: I made a comment on someone's post, and thought I'd done a fairly good job of it. She disapproved my comment because she said all I did was spit back what her post had said. I would think that would have shown that I read the whole thing and understood it, but apparently it wasn't enough. It has kinda soured me on giving comments. Sometimes it is really hard to read about something about which you know absolutely nothing, and then give an intelligent comment. Maybe I am just not good at giving comments. Maybe I should just not give any more.

Sorry to hear, Fran!
I learned not to comment on topics I cannot relate to.
I never would disapprove a comment in that is so much effort. You can easily see the effort, right!

Don't give up on commenting, Fran. But maybe grab some, where you can relate to the topic. For example my blogs are almost always simple methods. You can experience something and share it.
If possible I always add my experience to comments I write.

Sending Love and Light to Alaska!
Aloha, Jenna

Thank you for this post, there are fairly strict guidelines on how to use the comment site and how to leave a comment. I work hard at my replies, and expect the same back. I too have had a few comments where it is really obvious they have not read the blog. I am now getting more comfortable rejecting a comment. Have a great day, Denise.

Thank you very much, Denise, for sharing your experience and your opinion!
Yes, me too! I respect the work and desire to add more value to it!
We are sitting in the same boat!

Next time I will reject such a comment.
Thank you for your time and support, Denise!
Aloha, Jenna
