I am wondering if it can be a good idea to have lots of pages with products on them, like a store, with links to Amazon? Is that text enough to drive traffic, or must I write l

I believe posts/blogs would be best, however, on a page, a quick link to each blog/post. Depends on what you prefer, however.

I think your fine with what your doing.

I don't think there's anything wrong with doing pages but you'd have to create a menu option for them otherwise people wouldn't see them. You could have each page dedicated to specific products. For example I have my media page which house numerous sections within it. Here's my site so you can look and see what I mean.

What we see time and time again is that a sales page is just a sales page. Giving folks a reason to trust our recommendation, having that authority is the crux of the matter when blogging.

Perhaps you can approach your listing of products from the perspective of what service or need is it fulfilling and write a post around that need. Traffic is driven by the quality of our posts. (At least this is what I continue to see from members who have been around the block).

This recent post by Alex makes a good point. Maybe it can help.
This was actually on his external blog but it is well worth the read.

Here is one that makes sense too. Hope this helps!

WA Affiliate Program
Updated

Just finished course 2 of the bootcamp. I can't say I was impressed with the idea of incorporating a bonus on your WA review because I didn't really see the value in the bonuse

I had the exact same thoughts and questions about the Wealthy Affiliate bonuses. Glad I found your question so I wouldn't have to ask it myself. I see what gabrieldpg is saying. I totally forgot how overwhelmed I was when I came into WA. There were so many things to click, read, study, and do. I have been here 3 months and just found out about the diamond traffic page. With that said I guess offering anything inside WA makes sense.

To Your 2016 Success,

Gee

Not sure if everyone gets the $19/first month, I think everyone does. But that doesn't make it wrong for you to offer the bonus. The bonus is actually offered by Kyle and Carson, and they have allowed us to say we're offering it. We're not lying, because the user will get the bonus...

About the diamond traffic page, again, it's something all premium members have access to. As well as all other training. But when you become a premium, if you didn't come across a review that advised you of the diamond traffic page, you perhaps wouldn't be aware of it and wouldn't visit it.

That's why it's good to set up automatic messages, being one of them for when the user goes premium, and include the diamond traffic page in your message.

It's not about lying, but about leveraging WA content and bonuses into your sale pitch. It's about pointing out to the people who read your reviews what they can expect.

Hope that changes your view on it ;)

Regards,
Gabriel

I am going to have to do a search on the diamond traffic page. Never heard of it.

I'm trying to verify one of my sites in search console but I have tried the two different methods that I have used before and it is not working. I get an error message: can not

Please visit my site and follow my instructions to verify your site...;)
If you will be successful verifying your site, please give me a small favor of commenting (Short) on it...Cheers....=)

http://rockslegitonlinemoney.com/how-to-verify-a-website-with-google

Thanks, but I've already tried this method and it worked with my other websites but not this one. I could verify it in bing with this method. Goggle doesn't want to play.

Also, I noticed in your tutorial, on step 1 and step 2, you have "ADD/TEST SITEMAP" instead of "ADD PROPERTY".

Otherwise, nice tutorial.

I see...I am sorry for that...Anyway let me search for another solution for you...I'll be back to you if I'll see one...

Rocky

Just a thought for you:
1-I just did this with Google few weeks back.
2-AT step 6 second snippet, be careful on pasting the metatag code...paste it below the first word "Header" and NOT the second one with body below it (It will not work).

I hope this helps...

Rocky

Thanks for your help. I have been careful to put the meta tag below first header (or head, in my case), not the closing header.

I left you a comment on your site anyway.

Thank you for the correction and comment.

Please try this tutorial from timsproducts...It might help..
I hope your case is not with the "Theme issues" though.. Rocky

Thanks!

I applied to an affiliate program but they sent me an email saying that the application does not appear to match DNS registry information. They are asking me to add a page to t

Do they just want you to add some HTML code to your home page? To do that, you'll need to actually edit the HTML code of your home page. There's an option for it in Wordpress.

If that's not what they mean, I have no clue - what affiliate program are you trying to apply to? If it's something that offers normal products, consider using Amazon's affiliate program instead. They don't give you any run-arounds.

Ok, I have no desire to actually mess around with wordpress' html. It was istock photo's aff. pr. on linkconnector I tried to apply too. I think I'm just going to skip it.

That's probably the best course of action. I know nothing about HTML (Yet), and it drives me crazy when certain themes or programs expect me to be able to just hop in and start editing at will. I don't have my degree in Computer Science just yet, LOL.

I downloaded Filezilla but I can't connect. I get an error about 20 seconds timeout and it will not connect. I have read several posts about people having the same problem but

I had the same problem initially yesterday. With Filezilla open I was trying to right click on a file on my hard drive and then choosing upload it would gibe me the 20 second timeout error. However when I just dragged and dropped the file instead it worked and didn't give me the timeout error.

Oh really? But I cant connect at all to the servers. I can't see any remote files.
