Email accounts have to be set up wherever your website is hosted. As you have changed the hosting for your website you need to create new email addresses here at Wealthy Affiliate.
Go to Site Rubix > Site Manager and click on the Site Email tab at the top right. Create the new email addresses and then the information you need will be under Settings.
I can still get my emails on webmail but not iPhone or Mail app. So if I create another same email address here at WA, then I will have 2 same email address because I can still access the webmail using my old email address.
I'm thinking if it's a mistake to point my website to WA! The tech support is not very techy and that really scares me. JustHost has really good tech support.
What have I done?????
When did you change the DNS? It takes time for DNS changes to propagate throughout the internet so your webmail may still be accessible at JustHost. Once propagation is complete then you will not be able to receive emails until you set them up at your new host (WA). If you hesitate then some of your emails may not be delivered.
Gordon, my domain name with JustHost has an email that I have been using for ages. When I point the DNS to WA, I cannot get mails on my iPhone and Mail app anymore. So it's a website email that I had before it got pointed to WA.

That is exactly what I have been asking the tech support for the 100th time but they don't seems to get it! I swear I can get a heart attack if I have to tell them the 101th time.
Do you know the MX destination for WA please? I really desperately need to know the MX settings.
I Don't know the WA MX records, they should be able to give them to you, this is why I do not use there hosting
I'm currently hosted at JustHost and thinking if I should move here. Now I'm not a technical person so I need opinions of those who are move tech savvy than me.
What do you think @badboy247 ?

How long does it take for a typical affiliate application to get processed, say for Amazon?
I'm thinking if I should finish creating my contents for ALL pages first?
<It normally takes a couple of days Jennifer. But having products to promote does no good if you have no one to sell them to. Once you start seeing a bit of traffic hen I would worry about products
Makes a lot of sense Tim! I'm learning...(1) get the contents up (2) drive the traffic (3) do the affiliate application!
Thanks a lot for the "light bulb" Tim! :)
Good advice and I had read that in order for customers to build relationship, websites should avoid product promotion at the begginning. Websites should provide good information at first to have the good impression, it is also like a brick and mortar business.
How do you measure / define traffic? Say if I advertise in Facebook and get lots of clicks, would that increase my change of being accepted?
Unless they click through to your website from FB, I can't see that would make a lot of difference to be honest :)
Some affiliates want to see results before they will consider your request.Others just accept you straight away. The time factor is irrelevant other than to perhaps delay you.
However, I applied for an affiliate membership and was accepted immediately with one company and another rejected me after a few weeks. Why? because I did not have sufficient rankings etc
There is no realistic way to give an answer because each business operates their own way.
Rejected after a few weeks? That is very long time! How to quantify "sufficient ranking"? Being on first page of Google search - which depends on what keyword you search...
Basically, they did not want anymore affiliate marketers or they wanted a website to promote their products which had a significant amount of traffic and content, I had neither.
I had already decided that they did not want me as an affiliate marketer due to the time lag.
I'd guess they meant that I didn't have enough content on the site to have a ranking in any situation - they would have been right, they could have explained it better but that is their business.
Thanks Steve...now I got my question answered! Work harder to push in all the contents (currently everything in my brain!).
I hope you get to Brussels in 2017, The Grand Place or Grote Markt is amazing!
Planning says I will be there in May 2017, I will look for those places after I see my son. Thanx

I have a theme where I could put any image on the background. Then it has a layer on top of the background image where my content is shown. It's currently white with black font
Sorry Jennifer your response got lost in my emails. If you would still like help feel free to send me a pm and I will load your theme on my test site
Your talking about modifying your themes CSS (cascading style sheet).
Basically you would need to edit the CSS file for your theme and change the "background-color" element of the CSS file to your preference. Unfortunately, this is not always as easy as it seems because the style can be applied to any element on your page. So the trick is to locate the element that is applied to your page element.
You could use the Developers Tools in chrome to locate the page element settings. But this gets pretty involved.
Best option would be to use Fiverr and locate a developer that could make the change for you. $5.00 is cheap!
Good Luck!
Wow, this all sounds so technical to me! Hmm...the whole point of WP is to make life easy, I guess easy comes with a price!
Thanks for the tips anyway - if I'm up for a challenge on coding, I'll look that up :p
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...
The ease of changing your themes colors lies with your theme developer. Some themes have the option built in to change colors and they make the process very easy.
If you theme doesn't have this feature, and it is important to you, then you may want to find a new theme. Afterall, there are literally thousands of themes available for Wordpress.
No worries about the bad news. If it's not meant to be, it's not meant to be :)
Yes there are thousands of themes out there but the weird thing is, whenever I do a live preview, it looks more like a blog than a page i.e. the ads photo looks different from the one I get, kinda deceiving but I don't know why.
Appreciate the "brutal truth" :)

Anyone has any idea which plugin I should use if I want to sell products with different sizes at different price that I can link back to a Paypal button?
For example, a c
Are you going to sell products directly from your site? That will require something more than just Wordpress. WooCommerce is a popular solution to adding a store to Wordpress. It's free to add on to WordPress. But it also needs Wordpress to use a theme that's compatible with WooCommerce. There are other configuration things too, like how to handle payments.
What you're describing sounds like product variations. Kind of like sizes for clothing. WooCommerce can do that.
You are absolutely spot on with the plugin I need, and of course, the theme is pretty limited. Looks kind of odd too, it's called the "Storefront". The preview doesn't look like the ads at all. WP is still a mind boggling thing for me!
Thanks for the tips!
Storefront is probably the most popular Woo theme. It's pretty configurable, which is probably why the preview doesn't look like the ads. Here's an example from my "day job". This is a WooCommerce site using a Storefront Pro theme. http://srmi.biz
There are other themes though. You just need to make sure they support WooCommerce.
Adding WooCommerce to WP is easy to do, but can be complicated to implement correctly. That site above took me about 4 months to build. But it has a lot of integration that I had to deal with. I also migrated from an older version of Wordpress and a theme that wasn't compatible with Woo.
