Recruiting Affiliates
Although I am new to wealthy affiliate, I am not new to recruiting or marketing, which in some aspects are interchangeable.
I won’t go into the details here, however I have recruited over 700 people directly and many thousands indirectly into business opportunities, of which around 500 made a full time income from home.
Next week I will begin to recruit affiliates into WA.
The reason I have waited, is that in life I have found that people are recruited by three sorts of people:
Managers, who often have not done the job they are asking someone else to do.
Leaders, who are often leading someone to a place they have not been themselves.
And Teachers, who teach people skills they have already learned themselves.
Obviously I want to be the teacher, to add value to a new relationship, to be the teacher I needed to have done what I am asking others to do.
So by next week my four websites will be built to a stage, that at least superficially they will look complete. Three of my websites will just be for information storage, to send people to who require specific information; the fourth will be my internet marketing site.
However, I have found that when people try to recruit people into an online business opportunity they become very narrow minded. Just because the opportunity exists online does not for one minute mean that it should only be marketed online.
You see an online business is still a “business” and most of the world leading businesses understand that of the 16 hours a day people are awake, they only spend on average about one hour online.
The very best marketing results I have ever had in any business have always come from using offline methods to promote online opportunities.
Just because a method of recruiting is offline does not mean it can’t be just as passive as an online lead source.

If you teach and have the intention of helping folks, it is the surest path to creating a long term and very successful business online.
I know that you are going to have a lot of success with your recommendations of WA, there are 3.75 BILLION people online now most of whom want to have their own business, most of whom would love to do something that they truly were passionate about, thus most of them could benefit directly from WA.
