Does creating a backlink to previous post at the bottom of your new post, help any with SEO?
Yes. It also helps your readers (more important) if you link to relevant/related information. ~Marion

You link your post with keywords. For example. I would like to show you how "Affiliate Marketing" is done. You link the words Affiliate Markeing to the other post.

Was wondering how soon can a new website be monetized? Or should you wait until you have a few posts and a steady flow of traffic?
You need to wait until you have organic traffic and that will not happen without Google rankings. However Google rankings will not happen without enough content on your website about 10-12 combined pages & posts.
When you sign up for affiliate programs, most companies will not accept your application if they review your website and see very little content. This is why the monetization of your website is in Level 3 training. Much has to happen before you can successfully monetize.
I would say any time you add new stuff you should monetize. Need to makes sure every thing works at all times. I found some great info on monetizing, it may help. http://monetizepros.com/monetization-basics/which-monetization-methods-will-make-the-most-money-for-your-website/
Thank you very much for the link, I will definitely be doing my homework. Highly appreciated.
Let us be realistic. After 6 months I have no income from my sites at all, and I have 43 percents of my pages on Google first page. This is reality, but you might do better I hope.

Just got website going, and would like some constructive feedback. I only have one post, but wanted to see if im heading in right direction? I will return the favor. http://miste
Jeff, left a comment on your site. There are a few suggestions I have so I will PM these to you.
Wow!! very cool Jeffery I loved the video, I really liked the way your website is put together. Bcos Im using my phone to look at your website very easy to navigate. Maybe one thing is it would be really great if you had close up shots of your tool bag and individual tools...Im sum1 who knows nothing really and I sumtimes couldn't see the actual tool you were holding. But I think your website is very helpful for people who want to pursue this line of work, small business or just fix things around their house well done :) :)
Thank you. The videos are from you tube, but I will see what I can find on all the tools I use. Thank you for the feedback.
Good start, the site looks great and as some already said a great name. I feel you will get more response here Need website comments? the give and take comment thread
I will look further but a quick pull up of site - two things- really like your header and what a great name to nab for domain - surprised that one was still available.
Thank you very much. Got header made on fiverr for 5 bucks. Got lucky on name, I liked it to.
I gave you a quick look - can't spend time but bookmarked so I can go back - my site isn't at point I can ask so appreciate offer though. I may ask you for a recommend on the fiver contact- there are so many and if you were happy, rather not go cold to find someone. Yeah, geeesh still can't believe that name wasn't taken - nice!
Hey,
the site looks good and your post is of a good length, but I wouldn't start with affiliate links too early.
You have to build up trust first, before people will buy from you.
Try to get traffic first by creating posts that help people without selling to them.
Then they will start to trust you and come back and buy from you.
Once you are established you can add more and more quality content and reviews and start earning.
This takes time and shouldn't be rushed.
If a site has affiliate links on every page and post, google might not give you good rankings.
Hope that helps a bit.
Follow along the training and everything should be fine.
Like I said, the site itself looks great already.

I started building a site rubix website. I also purchased a domain name from godaddy. For some reason website builder wouldnt let me build with my own domain? So I built with si
Finally got it to work. I rechecked nameservers at godaddy, and the nameservers defaulted back. So I changed them again, and moved siterubix to my domain and it worked. I thank everybody for all the support. Hopefully I can return the favor if needed.
Once you purchase your domain, you can switch the servers over to WA's.
Here's what Kyle says about switching your domain: How to Transfer a SiteRubix Website to Your Own Domain
It can take time to propagate. I use GoDaddy for all my domains. If nothing happens in 48 hours then check to see if you typed in the correct DNS. See if your GoDaddy configuration for your domains is locked too. Mine aren't but yours may have accidentally been locked.
I'm getting ready to transfer my .com to SiteRubix so keep in touch and I can let you know what my experience was.
Thank you so much sir. I think your right. I will let you know when it starts working. Stay in touch.
Thanks for all the comments. But I just tried to build another site, and my domain name stays in red ,and site builder wont build. I think my dns is in propagation. Only purchased domain name 24 hrs ago.
I'm not sure what's going on. I haven't published site rubix site yet. If I can get it to build a site with my domain, is my goal. I will keep trying. And thank you so much.
