Letters on my Wordpress dashboard post page are appearing all in one column. Why?? I have no control of this, right? It's hard to read this way. See sample.
Judebanks,
I can't figured it out. I looked for columns I could slide over like an Excel doc but none were found. I moused over nearly every darn pixel. BTW- It looks correct on my desktop, only happens on laptop, everything else on dashboard looks fine but that. Very curious!
Yes, you can control how that appears.
You can make that one column wider, as Mel explained ( drag the right side border to increase its width).
If that isn't enough, you might need to eliminate columns you don't need, e.g. (author, tag, SEO, etc.).

hmmm... that is definitely some sort of glitch, I would assume. I would contact support. I've never seen it do anything like that before.
You ask if this is my first page? To be clear, this is the "All Posts" section of my dashboard. "Pages" looks fine.
The column for title has been compressed, you should be able to go to the top row and extend the size of the column like you expand columns in Excel by grabbing the separator bar between the columns and dragging it to the right.
Is this your first page? If it is not it maybe a result of a theme.
Or you have to exit and try to have a new page.
No, this is a problem with the size of the title column. I have explained how to resolve.

(Insert Ah ha moment here!)
Figured out that up in the Screen Options area I had too many boxes checked which squished things up. Just like Jude was trying to tell me. Now I can get back to adding content. :)
Thanks to you all for the help.

Is it best practice to use multiple profiles on the web? As I build additional website I am beginning to see the value in multiple profiles throughout the web. Google+, LinkedI
I have a couple. Just like having it NICHE website, I create niche profiles.
I found this is especially useful on Twitter.
I love camping and journaling. So my main profile is geared towards that. If I start tweeting a lot about crock pot recipes or some whatever, I loose followers on twitter under my main profile.
Niche your social media profiles and keep more followers.
Should I have multuiple profiles online?

Should I watermark my personal images used on my site or can I block them from being downloaded somehow?
As for personal image or images you do not want others to use without your permission, YES, watermark them.
No problem and if you have any other questions or concerns let me know and I will try to help.
Thanks, it does help. I am a photographer also. I have PS as well. I'll start watermarking ....thanks.
Hello,
I am a part time photographer and yes when you add a image online you take the chance of someone being able to take it. A few things I do. I add watermarks to my image (I literally add it in the middle) but in a way that it doesn't take away from the image. I also make sure I change the data on my photos when I edit them so that all the info shows the pictures belong to me. I know you can also add ghost watermarks on photos. That is when your looking at the picture there is nothing but when you try to copy the image the watermark will show up. I use Adobe photoshop and Lightroom CS6. I hope this helps you out.
Thanks much for sharing your knowledge, glad I skimmed around and saw this advice. I don't know how to watermark at all but I'll try if I can figure it out. Thanks again!
Best Regards
