Site Comments is a balancing act between supply and demand. There is more supply to give comments than demand requesting for comments.

Don’t worry, I will be seeking comments for my website in a big way when I am back from my holidays. Of course, I am but 1 person. Need more to be using the Site Comment tool.

Hi Jeff

I wrote about this very subject just yesterday: It would seem from the responses I received and what you are getting today that there is a somewhat of mixed bag of success (or not) with SiteComments. The most common reason given for a lack of comments was that it is the Christmas season and members are otherwise distracted. Maybe this is true, but I would have thought WA members would be positioning themselves to take advantage of the Christmas period when people have more time to reflect, research and consider new purchases of goods and services.

The pragmatist in me says that if there are enough WA members experiencing what you and I are going through, then the system may need to be reviewed to ensure it is meeting the needs of its members. Now, I'm not suggesting fundamental change because the system largely works, however as a former engineer, I can tell you that regular preventative maintenance is the key to good performance and longevity.

Might be the holidays right now, Jeff

Just keep stepping back in and checking. It took a while for me to get a few and now once a week I receive an email to say I have a match.

Be patient.

Lily 😁🎉

Thank You
I guess they are not abundant in supply
Jeff

Those with credits use it for comments on new posts.
I will be doing more of this in the new year, so I hope you get to review some for me.

Lily 😁🎶

You can submit Site Feedback to earn community credits that you can use to get Site Comments. That is what I've been doing. Site Comments has been working great as well as I usually get more than one comment due to the demand for sites to comment on.

I am wanting to give comments to help other members I don't need comments I don't have a website on WA

Thank you
Jeff

Yeah, there usually isn't a lot of sites left to comment on given the 2 to 1 ratio. Thanks for trying to give comments however.

I wonder why they even bother keeping the comments section, I am giving comments of other members blogs instead now

So how are you doing with your business if I may ask

Jeff

My site is almost 2 months old. I'm still getting the traffic to start growing. I'm pumping out content as fast as I can. My site is http://highfidelitysoundhaven.com. I have been using the Site Comments. it's nice to be able to get comments on demand. I honestly think that Kyle should remove the 2 to 1 ratio for Site Comments. I do believe that it should only cost 1 community credit as there is obviously an unbalance. This would free up the lack of sites.

I do agree the comment section does need some adjusting, you can get traffic quicker by adding your site to Google My Business dot com and you will only need to post about every 5-7 days with adding all your posts to this free service.

Just something that really improved my traffic,

Jeff

Kyle,
I am getting members telling me I can and I can't insert non-affiliated links in my blog posts, so I figured to be safe it is best to find out from you if I can insert

Thank You
I appreciate everyone who responded to my question on non-affiliated links in blog posts, you all have been very helpful and know you are much appreciated as FRIENDS

Jeff

There is a hard way and an easy way to succeed with your business, and I have done the hard way and now my business is almost on autopilot other than writing my posts.

Even the stubborn members will have to give in and change their strategies if they are not working for you one day, you must learn to be open-minded and try new things and never allow yourself to fall into a rut

Every year make it a point to add at least one thing to your website to create more value for your readers and avoid allowing the search engines to control your posts just for ranking instead of writing for your readers

Just trying to save you guys n gals time
Jeff

Hey Jeff:
One of Kyle´s main points is blogging to help others, that is, writing for your readers. I keep that in mind instead of just trying to be ranked by Google, Yahoo, Bing and else.
Thank you for offering mentorship, I may need some. Will let you know my friend.
Greetings from México.
Eugenio.

Hi,
Loes has given you the right answer.
Debs :)

Hello Debs,
So nice to see and hear from you, I was not aware you were still a member here.

How are your family and you doing these days, I hope you will be celebrating Christmas

Jeff

Yes I am absolutely I just don't have much time to interact lately but I login Daily. :)

I understand that Debs,

I pretty have my business on autopilot other than when I want to add new programs or make changes to make my website even better for my readers

So I decided to invest in the WA premium membership to help the members, I guess it is my way of paying back WA

Jeff

Haha
I never saw the part about Christmas I guess I must have been tired.

Yes, I love Christmas. So I will be celebrating it. The only thing is now my kids are older. I am the first one up lol. Instead of the other way round. :)

Hello Debs
I really do miss when my sons were just boys at Christmas time, and Christmas is for kids that is for sure.

Hi Jeff, WA is a spam-free forum. So, it's not allowed to share affiliate links here. When you have written a blog, it should be complete of its own. Sometimes, additional info is permitted. Like a free program to use, or credits to the source for your image/article.
Linking to your own website is not allowed though.
Links to WA blogs, training and questions is always allowed.
Here are the rules for WA

Thank You, Loes,

The links I am referring to are to resources I am not connected with as an affiliate, as in my last post I shared a network that specializes in CBD affiliate programs and I was wondering if I could have shared the link to that network or it was against the rules.

I thought spam was links where you were possibly gaining income from, so if that is the case the links I would share would not be gaining me any income by members using those links

Jeff

Very confusing I have read a post just today where a member had links to products he admitted he promoted, but I did not say anything to him since I am not really sure how this works yet

Hi Jeff, it's a grey area to many here, and the big problem is, that when people decide that your links might be spam, they can easily hit the spam button on you. And that gives you more trouble than you wish for. An auto-system will block you and your writing access will be taken from you. After that, only Kyle or Carson can manually give you access again, and my experience is that it can take days, even a week before you regain access to WA again.

You better write, if you are in the business of cbd, and want to get access to a great network for cbd oil, you may pm me, just to stay on the safe side.

I know, you only want to be helpful, but please be careful with sharing links. There are a lot of people around who will understand, but also people who have no idea what is meant by spam, and they can hit that button.

Be wise👩‍🎓 Loes

Thank You
Kyle has told me as long as they are not promotional links they are fine, but as you point out many members might think you are spamming even when you are not.

I suppose some people just presume if a link takes them to a website you are going to earn something from them, but I would never insert any link I am promoting on my website.

I am writing posts sharing high-paying affiliate programs in different niches for members, and my intention is only to help and not earn anything from them and in fact, I am not even signed up with the ones I am sharing in my posts.

I don't even insert affiliate links in my blog posts, I have instead opened an online store with all my affiliate links for people to check out only if they want to.

I guess it is a lot like feedback, so many members don't know the difference between the two

Jeff

You hit the nail on the head

Thank You, Loes

I hope all is going well for you, I was wondering what niche or niches are you promoting if that is not too personal to ask
Jeff

You can find all the links to my websites on my profile.
I am in health, kids art, WA bootcamp, spirituality, web education, and free image resources

Thank You
Very creative niches you have established, I am just into business tutorials and providing affiliate programs at this time
Jeff

Sounds interesting too:)

I figured since I was always searching for affiliate programs that are worthy to promote why not make this my own niche and share what I have learned

Working very well for me
Jeff

Good thinking:))

You have an awesome day Ms. Loes
Jeff

I agree with Loes. It is not worth the chance of being blocked.
With my regards.
Eugenio.
