The members of Wealthy Affiliate has a goldmine here to be able to help one another to succeed, and it does not make any difference what niche you are promoting you all are facing the same obstacles getting traffic and sales. So my questions to all of you is, why are you not working as a team?
Questions & AnswersYou are all doing very well asking questions and giving answers to help one another with your training, but how many of you are actually working as a team? It is awesome how this community works so well to help one another through their training, but for the members who have completed their training are you promoting your business basically on your own?
Feedback & CommentsI am very happy to see how active the feedback and comments board is in this community, you are all working very well together to provide one another both of these. So what I am hoping to encourage is for this to continue beyond just feedback and comments in this post, you all can accomplish much more working as a team rather than going it alone after you complete your basic training.
Social Media Marketing StrategyThe members I am mentoring privately to increase their traffic all have a similar story, I am told they have very few followers which this is within your own control. Many of you might be confused about now how the lack of followers is your own fault, but I am not saying the lack of followers is your fault but what I am saying is getting more followers is within your own control.
With this being such a large and active community everyone of you can increase your followers simply by learning what is working as a team all about, so I am going to get you started I hope with this business tutorial to start working as a team.
The first thing everyone of you should be doing is following one another on all your social media business accounts, I have a little secret to share with you the more followers you have on your business page the more people will see your posts. So basically the reason you most of you more likely lack followers is because people are not seeing your page and posts, you will want to start by following, liking, commenting, and sharing on each others pages and posts.
Social Media Strategy- Commenting on each others pages and posts is your most powerful strategy you can use as a team, so every person who has the desire to be on this team should make it a point to follow at least 5 new members each day they are on Wealthy Affiliate. That means you need to open business accounts on as many of the social media websites as you can.
- Sharing is the second most powerful strategy, and when you share each other's pages and posts more people are going to learn about your new business. Every time you share that page or post it is going to be on your page, and commonsense tells us that everyone of us does not have the same exact people who follow our page. So what you want to do is every time you are on one of your social media pages you want to take the time to share some pages and posts of your followers.
- Liking is not nearly as powerful as commenting and sharing, but if you do it right it can be another good strategy. What you are going to do is like other people's pages which are not one of your followers, and if you choose to people with business pages most of the time they will like your page back. This is how you are going to get more followers plus form business relationships, and you will find once you form good relationships with other business owners both of your businesses are going to begin to grow.
I hear all the time people telling me they don't have the time, but you are not making this an extra business chore to do. You only need to take 15 minutes while you are on your business page anyway to do these three simple things, and I bet most of you once you start to see how well this works will find the time to keep doing this strategy all the time. Many of you are spending extra time on Wealthy Affiliate to improve your ranking, so be happy with being a little less high in the ranks in this community, and use that time to promote your business. Any of you who think ranking high on Google is going to be enough to earn an income is seriously mistaken, you will need to do some social networking regularly if you want more traffic and sales.
What Is On My MindThis is only part-one of working as a team on your social media business pages, so any of you who are serious about joining this team really needs to get those business pages set up and start following other members in this community to start getting followers who could become potential customers in the near future.
Being a lone wolf will be your biggest mistake in this business,

I increased my followers from about 1.5k to almost 7k in 7 months by doing one thing.

Nice stuff, Jeff. My guess is there are people who consider spending time on WA is a waste of time so they prefer working on their sites.
I'm still learning the ropes. Every day I learn something new. At this point, what I need to do is generate traffic towards my site.

Once you get your website up and running traffic is most people's biggers problem, and without traffic no sales
I don't think it's a waste either, but evidently there are people who do.
I totally agree with you regarding learning from each other. I'm working hard to generate traffic...and sales of course.
Are you using social media to promote your website articles, I know I have met some members who will not use that strategy but unless you have funds to pay for advertising you are going to have a difficult time earning an income sooner than later

Your approach makes lots of sense to me. I don't think I would be able to make it on my own, or it would take me a couple of lifetimes!
No doubt we all learn from and encourage each other. At this time I am trying to figure out how to take this into practice, and hopefully sooner rather than later, I will be able to help others with their businesses.

Blogging on WA you are not going to earn any income because you are not allowed to insert affiliate links in your blog posts, so on your website, you will be inserting affiliate links but you can't add affiliate links on most social media sites you have to post your blog post URL instead

I do understand that part, my question is about the topic, the content. These entertaining, interesting posts here are not relevant to the business members are promoting, or am I totally wrong how this works?
Oh, you are referring to my blog posts on WA. I am providing free business tutorials to help members who are struggling. I joined WA to provide free business training to the members, but you are not allowed to do that until you are here for over 3 months so I am using my blog to provide training for free
I am not here to earn money, I am here to provide help to members who need extra help

No, I don't mean you and your blogs. I mean the hundreds of blogs we get from our WA members. Are those the same writings, blogs, they use on their websites to get traffic?
Sorry to hold you up with this, but nobody has ever answered this question for me, not even on chat or my mentor.
I really don't know about other member's blogs, but most of the blogs I have read from other members are from new members.
My blog posts are not from my website blog, I write my posts from scratch from my own experiences from my past.
I have only been on WA less than two months, so I don't know what all goes on here
Do you think members are posting articles from their websites on here, I would not see the reason for that unless they are just doing it for ranking

Hi - the blog posts here should not be published on a website as well. Google will see that as duplicate content. WA is a website like any other, and the blog posts here can be found on Google.
People write for various reasons. Some like the interaction with the community. Others like to discuss their success or frustrations. I personally tend to only write them when I have useful advice.
The way I figure it this is a business community and the members should be interested in learning how to promote their business in as many ways as they possibly can and what resources are available for them to use.
I have met members who must be on here just to chat and rank high in the community, they don't even have a business website online
I just wrote to tech support. I got my website built, got my badge, but can't open it or view it.
Frustrated.

Jeff....I have no desire to be a lone wolf in this business. That's why I am following your business tutorials. They all make sense.
This week I am straightening up my social media accounts to become a team member.
Because I didn't fully understand pinning, tweeting and posting on specific accounts,, I. neglected them.

All I need is firm guidance to improve my traffic stats. If I could drop all of those clinging Google Adsense ads I would in a heartbeat.

I really think sharing in business tutorials in steps is the easiest way for members if they follow the steps, you want to focus on building a network on all your business pages. You see when you follow someone and they follow you both your posts will be seen on each others pages. So the more people you have in your network the more people will see your pages and everyone in their network will also see your page and that is how your traffic grows with social media marketing
