Welcoming Wednesday Was Wildly Wonderful!

Whew, the thunderstorms last night were off the charts! So much destruction when I got caught in them at the locksmith shop house.
It was very windy and dangerous last night so please excuse the blurriness of the image! I was stuck over there for a couple of hours. The good thing is that we have some sweet relief from the heat, at least for a little while, but I hope that at least sticks around for the day!
Monica and I talked on the phone for about an hour during the storm, and the conversation was good until it circled around to her having to get out in the mess to take her "friend" to work. The conversation became very unproductive after that, sadly.
Above is another image I shot, and I caught a blackbird sitting on the power line in the upper left portion of the image.
They are the bane of my existence most days, nesting in the eaves of the eBay house and crapping incessantly on my vehicles since I didn't have to the forethought when I purchased the eBay house in 1999 to suspect that main power lines above my entire driveway would possible be a problem. Hindsight, as they say, is 20/20.
The normal routine Wealthy Affiliate Community run-through was quire productive though. Kitty would have joined, but she was busy eating!
That's okay, at least it is much cooler for her today.
Then, of course, the next phase of the day was some more Wealthy Affiliate research.
I'm not getting as much productivity here as I would like simply because my lock work is slowly, but surely picking up. I have a distasteful job this morning to do, but it is from a regular customer, so I will be taking care of that soon, as well!
I then headed off to the job in question!
The drive was nice enough with the lower temperature!
When I was there, I got right down to business!First, I re keyed and revered a lock on the inner door!
The finished product with two new keys! (above). The outer door was next.
Three new keys for this one! All in all, the job took me about an hour and a half, but it netted me just under $200!
I got paid for two other jobs from this same Property manager today to the tune of $250, so it has been a very good day, indeed!
When I got back to the eBay house, it was time for me to feed the Blog Dogs!
They were very happy to eat!
After a badly needed break, the rest of the day has consisted of me working on this blog post, while chatting with my friend Kevin at the railroad!
While I was doing that, I was also finishing up this blog post! For some reason, I am very tired today though, so I'll need a short nap soon!
Of course, I have not heard from Monica today, and that does not surprise me, considering how our conversation ended late last night!
Oh well, I still persevere!
I'll leave everyone here with an image of some of my storm damage at the shop house.
There are some more damages too, but I am too tired to worry about it right now! Besides, there are many more properties with much more damage than I have! I am truly blessed!
The rest of the evening will be spent on the computer and phone, but only after I have a good nap!
I HOPE THAT EVERYONE HERE HAD A WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY HUMP DAY! OURS AT LEAST STARTED OFF COOLER! I WAS ALSO VERY PRODUCTIVE TODAY, AS WELL!

We probably hit the mid 80's today which is more bearable than it has been, but we also had a few thunderstorms whip through which really helped the temperatures at times before the sun returned!

Storms they are a-brewin' these days indeed. I'm sorry to hear about the latest challenges but the bright side is the uptick in work. You always have the best spirit, Jeff! Wow, you must have been hit with a fairly robust storm. We’ve had the last 3-4 days of torrential rain. Luckily only for a couple of hours, then stop. Typical monsoon type weather.
Feeling better today and have caught up on a lot of stuff. So with my furry assistant it will be heads down today and get back into the writing.
My assistant is feeling a bit sick today, not his normal yappy self.

Glad you kept busy during the strange weather you've been having.
We have two ravens or crows, don't know which, that have adopted our neighborhood for years. They perch on the lamposts and crap over the area below. I pity the cars that park there lol.
I actually love seeing them around as it shows that all is well in the neighborhood. I feel they are committed to each other.
