Wednesday Was Wonderful & Wonderous!
Last Update: Mar 15, 2023
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
After another good night's sleep, I got right down to business! I have a locksmith job about 45 miles away from me, so there is no time to waste. I had to get busy right away this new morning! By the way: Happy Hump Day to everyone!
After my normal care for the furry assistants, I jumped right into the Wealthy Affiliate Community for my usual morning foray.
Kitty even sauntered in to lend a paw too! I always appreciate any help that she can provide!
When I finally finished with this initial foray, it was time for me to get ready to leave for my job--the travel time of which would eat up about an hour and a half or more by itself.
As I was warming up the truck, I captured some images of this new Hump day. This will include the title image too.
We managed to make it to 40 degrees despite the heavy winds blowing today.
Then it was time for me to get the show on the road, so I headed to my job Between 45-60 miles away.
About a 4th of way into that drive, I crossed an arm of the largest reservoir in Kansas--Milford lake.
The drive went surprisingly fast despite the high winds were are experiencing today.
Within 30 minutes, I entered Clay Center, Kansas.
This was the Pizza Hut that I needed to re-key!
There were 8 locks total, and the job took a while because they had not been serviced in a while.
I finally got out of there around 1:30. My buddy, Kevin called me when I was just arriving back in town, and since I was a few blocks from the locksmith shop house, I pulled in there to chat with him for a half hour.
The day was looking nice from there. We are supposed to have some much cooler weather tomorrow. If it happens, it is one of Winter's last gasps! This is to be expected, of course.
Then I headed back to the eBay house to let the Blog Dogs out and to feed them their main meal of the day too! I didn't bother with an image for that today.
If all goes according to plan, they will be returning home tomorrow, but since I have not heard from Monica at all, that could all change. I will back my furry assistants no matter what.
I am also finishing this post too, since it is not auto-saving. I hope to get it published soon.
My writing in Kindle Vella Episode #15--the final one in this current experiment, has continued to move forward.
Depending upon the time I have left today, I might even write another small post on my book promotion website too. These activities will wrap up my Wealthy Affiliate research portion of the day.
The rest of my evening will likely be spent on the phone, Computer, and continuing writing. It has already seemed like a long, but quite productive day!
The wind continues to howl outside as I am writing this! I still have some more activities to catch up on too, including getting a couple of locksmith billings into the mail!
I HOPE THAT EVERYONE HERE IN WEALTHY AFFILIATE HAS HAD A VERY HAPPY HUMP DAY! THE NEW WEEK IS NOW PAST ITS MIDPOINT. I FEEL LIKE I HAVE HAD AN EXCELLENT HUMP DAY!
Sincerely,
Jeff, the BLOG DOGS, and Kitty

It sounds like a good Wednesday for you all and glad the drive was safe.
Furthest I have been into Kansas City was a Club Car Wash I bid a couple years back in Overland Park.
I brought the wife and son for a long weekend and stayed in a hotel somewhere off of Metcalf I believe. I wish we had more time to go visit the Great Wolf Lodge but there is always next time!

Maybe and I will admit the little one liked Lego Land at the Convention Center. He was full of smiles.

That seems like a good day's work, Jeff - working on eight locks.
I was about to ask if the Pizza Hut tipped you with a pizza - but I see your response to Phil below!
There's a part of me that is going to miss reading about the blog dogs regularly - but I understand that life goes on.
Hope you have a good FriSatSu Eve! 😎🐶😹🐶
Isaiah 😊
It was, Isaiah--just a lot of travel time both ways. I also ended up with a quick job after 5 pm. I have some billing out to do now.
You'll still be reading aobut the Blog Dogs often. They are my brand, they will just be in a much better place now, my friend!
My Frisatsu's eve is starting off lsow, but steady! 🐶😹🐶😎
Happy Thursday!

Hi there, Jeff
I remember the time I locked myself out of the house and
had to have my wrought iron gate rekeyed.
Is there a magic tool that can rekey the keyhole without using any
other locksmith equipment? My locksmith did some magic.
Mother nature is making it rain lots of success out here.
Lots of rain for the Kansas reservoir too.

Morning Jeff.
It still amazes me how quiet the roads are in Kanus. In towns in the UK, you wouldn't be able to move for traffic. Certainly in big cities like London and Birmingham.
I hope they gave you a discounted pizza at Pizza Hut for doing the job. The best pizza I ever had was in Bulgaria - it was more like a flying saucer the size of it. Two or three people would have struggled to eat it all.
Laters,
Paul
Good day, Paul!
We have a lot of open space here, that's for sure.
I took a free personal pan pizza home with me. I'll bill the corporate office and get paid by them. That Pizza you describe sounds like a monster!

Hey Jeff,
What are the blog dogs and kitty's name? I'm also beginning to be curious about Kansas and will make time one of the days to look it and what it's all about.
Thanks for sharing your day with us. Have a great weekend. Do you write even on weekends?
Kitty's name is Miss Kitty, shortened to Kitty. The Blog Dogs are called Shadow--the larger Male, and his Sister is called Star--she's the litter mate. Kansas is right in the center f the continental US, and where I live is about 20 miles from the actual geographic center!
I write anytime that I have spare time to do so!
Have a Great Day!
Jeff
Thanks Jeff...I don't know just sounds so homely.
Shadow, Star, Kitty, (no offence please) Monica, children and of course, the writer-'you'.
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
My biggest ambition in life is to a write...and it's the most difficult thing in life for me....so I've lots of admiration for brave and daring people. Plus you paid 'attention' to my only writing on the platform.
We're just selfish...but I appreciate and all your input. However ways it comes.
I appreciate and already love the whole family- paws, claws, hands and all!
You are very welcome, Tshegofatso!
Keep persevering, and you will do very well, my friend!
