Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!

After an over two-hour marathon phone call with Monica, I went to bed and slept very well. This morning, I woke up and got right to business in the Wealthy Affiliate Community!

Kitty eventually loped into the room to see what was going on. She might have assisted for a couple of minutes before leaving the room again.

When I finished with the first foray in the WAC, I took some images of the brightening day, including the title image.

The temperature at this time was only 64 degrees.

It was shaping up to be a beautiful day, but supposedly, we might be having some rain later today. We shall see.

The next portion of my day, barring any new lock work (although I have had a call from a customer with some questions already) will be to start a blog post on my book promotion website.

I hope to get this accomplished today! I have already started, and everything seems to be going very smoothly, so far! In fact, it is almost finished, and I already have another idea for the next blog post too!

I then decided to go run some errands, but before I got those finished, my associate, Tommy Williams called me and said he was at the eBay house! I ended up cutting them short and met him back over there!

We visited for about three hours! During this time, Kevin also called while on his way to work! Tommy knows him, so that was all good too! We enjoyed a thirty minute, three-way conversation! There was a lot of joking going on during that time too! It was an interesting conversation to say the least!

All in all, a fun time was had by all! No harm, no foul!

Tommy was even kind enough to bring me three-piece chicken wing box from KFC too! We visited for about three hours! Time flies when we are having fun! That's for sure!

While he was visiting, I also made sure that the BLOG DOGS were fed their main meal of the day too!

They seem to be always ready to eat! They never disappoint me in that respect.

The temperature today never reached above 80 degrees, so that was definitely a great development too!

Now running a bit behind, I jumped on the computer to get this blog post finished, and I am also replying to comments made, as per my normal Wealthy Aaffiliate forays!

The rest of my day will consist of working within the Wealthy Affiliate Community. and answering any questions!

Since I did not garner any locksmith calls today, I worked some more on my latest blog post for my book promotion site too! That has been very fulfilling, indeed, but there is still a long way to go for me to be where I wish to be in that endeavor!

Barring any unforeseen events, I will be on the computer off and on for the rest of the evening! After all, I still need to finish the blog post that I have in draft for my book promo website. After that, I'm not sure what my next course of action will be.

I am sure that I will remain busy throughout the evening though, since there are so many more things that I wish to accomplish! I am quite sure that there are many <I>more of you which feel the exact same way!

I HOPE EVERYONE HERE HAD A WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY HUMP DAY! i KNOW THAT I SURE DID!

Sincerely,

Jeff, the BLOG DOGS, and Kitty

Glad you had a long chat with M and meeting up with Tommy and Kevin.
The Autumn (Fall) is all around us here in Blighty. 10 weeks to Xmas and then its a downhill ride back into Spring.
Wednesday for me was a mare of a day Jeff. All my - if it could go wrongs - came on the same day.
I went to bed and left all my troubles to sort themselves out and guess what. Thursday is a super day. Nice weather, nice company, loads of work done.
One more day, one more step.
Take care buddy, enjoy the time you get with M.
Bux

Thanks, Bux! Those are always good!

Our Fall is coming on fast too, my friend! I'm hoping that it is not as cold this year as it was last year.

I've had a lot of those sorts of days, Bux! I'm glad that your new day has started much better though. I'm glad that you have accomplished a lot! That always feels good!

I hope I get some time with M, but she is so busy these days.

Take care, and Have a Happy Frisatsu!

Jeff

I will certainly make the most of FriSatSu me old fruit. But I can see that a good part of Fri will be spent catching up from the bad days.
Sat will be exceptional, spending the day in Glastonbury with some very pleasant company and Sun is the phone call to my son day, he's over a thousand miles away on a little tiny island, so not seen too often.
You have yourself a super weekend, make the most of any time with friends and keep making progress.
Direction is more important than speed.
Happy days mate.
Bux

I totally understand, Bux! I am much the same way too!

It sounds lie the Satsu part will be spectacular though!

I will enjoy this Frisatsu as best that I can my friend! We never know what is around the corner for us!

You are right, Direction is much more important than speed!

Thanks Mate!

Jeff😎👍

Glad that you have friends like Tommy and Kevin and chat with on a regular basis, Jeff - friends are valuable to have nowadays.

Hopefully, Monica will find time to call you soon.

Did that three-piece chicken wing box include a buttery biscuit? 😎🐶🐱🐶

Isaiah 😊

You are right, Isaiah! Good friends are the best!

I never heard from Monica yesterday, so maybe I might hear from her today! I did sent her a text last night telling her I hope she had a GREAT day--no response though, so I hope everything was alright.

No, it as a 6 piece box--no biscuit!

Have an excellent day!🐶😹🐶😎

Jeff🤠

Hey, Jeff

Your day sounds wonderful! Mine was great, too!

Today I found the key to my old apartment, when I lived in Florence, Italy, way back in the 1970s.

I thought you might get a kick out of seeing it, and maybe you can tell me a little something about it from a locksmith's point of view. The door had these "panic bars" (or whatever they are correctly called) that went into fortified door jam holes on the floor, the two sides, and above - like a cross.

They all turned at once with the key, to lock the door. This was very common in the big Italian cities. The key is so long that it was a little awkward to carry in my pants pocket!

Check it out! 😎
Frank 🎸

Are you trying to tell us you went to prison, 😂😂 Have a great day.

Mine was Great, Frank, glad to hear about yours too!

I know the brand of your key, but have not seen one like that. I'm pretty sure it fits a warded lock though.

A warded lock is a type of lock that uses a set of obstructions, or wards, to prevent the lock from opening unless the correct key is inserted. (From Wikipedia)

There are no pins in this sort of lock. It sounds almost like what Brian says. I'll bet that door was something else!

Have an excellent new day, and thanks for sharing the image of the awesome key!

Jeff🔑

🤣👍

Hahaha - That’s some key, huh?

I doubt the Italian prisons had anything that secure back then. 😎

Thanks, Jeff!

I was always fascinated how one side of the cut out part of the key is the exact opposite (negative)of the other, like looking at an X-ray.

At the time I couldn’t imagine carrying around a bunch of these keys without a big “jailer” key ring. 😎

This particular key is a copy I had made for my Italian girlfriend. When I moved from Florence to Rome she mailed it to me.

Thanks for the interesting warded lock lesson!

Frank 🎸

I might still have the old white with black striped jailbird uniform to go along with the key! 😵‍💫😎

It was, indeed, Frank! 😎👍

Now THAT, I would love to see, Frank!🤣

You're very welcome, Frank! That is one awesome key! Was the apartment just as awesome?

Jeff🎸

Haha! 😎

🤣🤣

Hi, Jeff

It was a very nice apartment with a certain renaissance charm (real antique furnishings, etc.). Back in the '70s, it was almost impossible for a foreigner (American, in my case) to get a nice apartment in the center of Florence. It was a ten-minute walk to the Statue of David!

I was a Brown University exchange student, and my school had reserved a few apartments in all the big cities for just such a purpose.

However, when I moved to Rome, I found that apartment on my own through a friend who owned the biggest music store in Italy. This apartment was super modern, your typical "bachelor's pad" and a ten-minute ride by bus to the Colosseum.

I had my own car, a red two-seater Fiat Spider convertible. There was just enough room in it for my girlfriend and my guitar, but that's all I really needed, haha!

I ended up teaching guitar at that music store, and one of the other instructors recommended me for a job as the guitar player in the house band at the "Mississippi Jazz Club," which was right around the corner from the Vatican.

That was a sweet gig! I also had my own jazz fusion band that played there on Saturday afternoon, but the jazz that most people came to see happened at night. I was also required to play the standup bass now and again.

Between all this, I managed to get my research in artificial lung done as an exchange student for my Masters's degree in biomedical engineering and also took classes at the medical school there. Brown and the University of Pisa had the two biggest research programs in the world in artificial internal organs, at the time.

Writing all this, I just realized that I could publish several ebooks on my adventures in Italy and sell them on Amazon! Maybe, someday. It kinda sounds like I'm making it all up, but it all happened and so much more! 😎

Frank 🎸

This was awesome, Frank!

What a life you led, my friend!

Yes, indeed oyu could easily write ebooks about your life and times. They would be GREAT. If you don't want to write one long one, you could look into KindleVELLA which allows you to write and publish chapters as episodes!

I am starting to look into that, as well!

Jeff😎🎸

Thanks, Jeff!

I have more than enough crazy stores to write an encyclopedia or two! 😎

I still make it a priority to have fun everyday.

Amazon ebooks might be something to look into someday, but right now my guitar playing and guitar website are higher priorities. Maybe when I completely retire.

Frank 🎸

It'll only take 15 minutes of your time daily, Frank, and before you know it, you will be a prolific author too, my friend!

Just Saying!

Jeff😎🎸

That's true, Jeff!

If you saw how much I do in the course of an average day, you probably wouldn't believe it, but now you've really got me interested! 😎

Isn't it funny that I got my bachelor's degree in Chemistry because I didn't want to be doing a lot of writing assignments, and now it's a big part of my life. Nothing good lasts forever! 😎

Frank 🎸

Haha, Frank! Isn't it funny how life works out, but just think. The timing is right now because you have so many cool stories to tell!

Jeff🎸

When Jeffoi has finished his first foray into the WC….oops did you say WAC…rats..l

🤣🤣 You never cease to amaze, Stevoi!

Jeffoi

Sounds like you had quite a mellow day and having a visit from your friend. :)

Have a great evening ahead!

Myra

I did, indeed, Myra! It was a productive day over all!

You have a wonderful evening too, my friend!

Jeff
