Tremendously Torrential Thursday!

Last Update: July 30, 2020

Well friends here in Wealthy Affiliate--no respite yet from the seemingly endless rainfall!

I'm driving in a deluge on the way to the 15th shop house for locks I needed today!

Of course, this morning I managed to perform my usual computer work, then headed out to pick up Frank to take him to his sales lot!

I had a couple of locksmith jobs today, but made sure I got back to check up on Frank!

Oh, and by the way--he sold his big building and sales lot today, so I was run ragged doing errands surrounding the sale!

Around 4 :00 pm, I took him back home, already worn out from a long day!

As a reminder, my wife, Monica goes into surgery tomorrow morning at 8:15 am, so, please everyone, wish her luck!

This evening at the house we continued working on Madison and Samantha's closet expansion projects, and I strained my back, so I am feeling poorly.

I'll do a full post on the projects, but here is Samantha cleaning debris from demolition in her new expanded closet!

Her and her sister removed the wall separating two tiny closets, and you can just see the new base for Madison's 10 foot by 3 foot wide closet that she is building at the end of her rather large bedroom.

I promise all will become clear when post over the weekend about the ambitious project these two teen aged sisters undertook with a bit of help from me and their mother. This has been ongoing for most of this week!

This project reminds me in some strange way of website building and expansion here in Wealthy Affiliate!

We have the opportunity here to constantly add to, revamp, and grow our websites. We can even decide to delete them and start over. I have a couple of websites at least that can use a good revitalization and perhaps even a little demolition as well!

Well folks, I feel that the sleep monster is about to get me, so well will talk again soon!

TGIF IS UPON US SO LET US ALL MAKE THE BEST OF IT, WELCOME THE NEW WEEKEND, AND COME BACK HERE FRESH AND READY TO GO WHEN THE NEW WORK WEEK STARTS!

Thanks Jeff, yes we need some! The farmer's need it, the land needs it and the dams need it! You guys get so much more rain than we do. To put things in perspective our main reservoir, Mt Bold, is down to 8%! That is terrible, we'll need to use our desalination plant soon! An effect of climate change maybe...who knows, stay safe.

There was a period, Matt, where we went without it for over a month though! 😫

It wasn't easy, but we have actually had a couple of month(s) long droughts in the past, Matt!

We'll be joining you in the rain department tomorrow when the hurricane makes its presence known. Not expecting much except 30mph winds and torrential rains for a few hours here in north central FL. Last I heard, the east coast is gonna get it, and then it's heading up to the Carolinas.

Oddly Raining here too on Thursday - tail end of a tornado which has thankfully missed us and shifting north up over Ha Noi.

Rain is all we need, Bad enough defence breached (93 cases of Covid 19 in 6 days - after Having no community transmissions for 99 days nationwide Sadly 3 fatalities (surprisingly, the first and only 3 since the crisis began!).

Ahh well, after the rain comes sunshine huh!

Wow... the last time I was reading your posts Jeff it was endless heat and deserts and camels with no end in sight...

and now somehow the weather has turned around .... and I can see it's been raining for days!

How did I miss that?

I'm glad for the rain and turn of weather.

I've got to say here, we've had a couple of nice sunny winter days!

I hope the carpal tunnel surgery went well for Monica!

No worries, Jacquie, it has finally turned back into pretty much a semi arid desert again!

Enjoy your weekend!

Hi Jeffrey,

I see. Hope that it will be a smooth and successful hand operation for your wife, Monica. I think she is in good hands as medical science is very advance.

Yes, the weather is erratic these days. It is rainy season all the way here to September. According to the weather forecasts. Heavy rain usually come suddenly at times. Gloomy days most of the time.

Wow! You are a busy and hardworking man, with so much things to do everyday. Looks like you need some support and have a right balance in life. Nevertheless, it is good to see that you have a cohesive family that work together as a team.

It is a good feeling to be successful with your love ones, friends and positive people.

To more success,

David Koh
