Tremendous, Tedious, & Torrid Tuesday Travails!
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
Today, of course, was Monica's 2nd Carpal tunnel surgery on her left arm!
Originally, we were supposed to be there by 12:00 noon, but that ended up changing at the eleventh hour to 10:45am.
This threw some best-laid plans to the wind, and then it was rush, rush, rush!
I had just gone over to the eBay house to take care of some last minute details, and pay a few bills when I got the call from Monica to come back home!
The morning sky there was phenomenal though! This was only scant hours after a surprise thunderstorm had blown through!
So only about an hour and a half end to my frenzied activities there, I was on the road back to the house!
Already, the skies were clearing of those clouds! I didn't get a chance to take good pictures of the furry assistants because it was literally that I had to park the van van, and jump into the car to go to Manhattan, Kansas!
This was the same surgical hospital that she has had three prior surgeries at: one for her knee, and two carpal tunnel ones (one for each arm) before! (title image).
She seemed eager to get inside and get it over with! (So much so, that she didn't even see Humphrey!) It must have been easy for him because Manhattan happens to be his home town--or so I have been told!
This was the sky above the hospital today! There was not a cloud in it! (Below)
The temperature topped out at 106 degrees, Fahrenheit! Not the funnest day to be outside for sure!
About 5 hours later all told (this included over 2.5 hours of recovery time this time around), we were finally on our way home!
The drive there was uneventful, thankfully! I will pick up Monica's pain prescription later this evening!
Quite obviously, she wished to go right home, and I still had other things that I needed to take care of!
I made sure that she got situated the way she wanted to be before I left the house!
Of course, Tig-Tig was right there to "assist" her! When I left, she probably started meowing loudly about wanted some more Temptations Cat treats!
I also made sure that the Blog Dogs got to go outside and do their business, since the kids are somewhat lax in that department on occasion!
They sure seemed to have their attention riveted in another direction! Anyhow, it was way too hot to leave them outside for long!
When I finally got back to the eBay house to wrap a few things up, I wrote this blog post, and even managed to check on a couple of things that need to be done for my book site!
I still managed to squeak out a few minor Wealthy Affiliate tasks too!
My next mission will be to ride the motorcycle over to Walmart pharmacy to pick up Monica's prescription!
After that, it will be time to go home!
I want to think everyone who sent their prayers and thoughts to us on this crucial day that Monica and I experienced! You are all spectacular individuals, and it is deeply appreciated!
AS HUMPHREY HAS SHOWN, I AM REMINDED THAT TOMORROW IS YET ANOTHER HUMP DAY!
