Time-Off TUESDAY Allows a Trip to the Country to See my Army Friend!
Hello everyone in Wealthy Affiliate!
There will be a little change of pace for today!
I am heading back out to my Army Buddy's house! We have some more business to talk about, and I'll likely stay and visit for a while too!
I will likely return to my regular routine later in the day! Of course, I am already reading Wealthy Affiliate blog posts, along with answering other emails, so that part of my day remains intact!
Tig-Tig was ignoring me and looking out the bedroom window, instead! Maybe she sensed that I wasn't staying very long!
Before I left to go out to the country to see him, I let the Blog Dogs out to do their business!
I finally left the house around 20 minutes later, and 20 minutes after that, I was nearing the junction turn-off that would head directly to the town he lived. The title image reflects the spur off of Interstate 70 that led to this junction.
This is the main drag as I am pulling into town! I am dropping off some things that he had requested last week. We talked on the phone yesterday and agreed on today since the weather forecast had looked promising.
As the pictures show, the weather didn't disappoint! The temperature in the morning had been 20*F and the day turned out to have a high of 56*F!
Here is a picture of my friend sitting at his bar when I walked inside.
We plan to do some drinking and eating today while we visit! ( He had his foot operated on last Wednesday and he is still recovering.
Fortunately, I did not get any work calls today, which allowed me to stay over at his house until about 7 pm!
I did manage to answer a few Wealthy Affiliate emails while I was there, but now that I am back on the computer writing this post, I have been able to answer a lot more!
I have also read several of the new Wealthy Affiliate blog posts, as well!
I TRUST THAT EVERYONE ELSE HERE IN WA HAD A NICE TUESDAY AS WELL!

Glad you were able to get some time off and have the ability to visit a friend. Here in New Brunswick, Canada, we are restricted to only our household and our daughter's household. That is only allowed because my wife is considered a caregiver of her diabetic son. Hope your down-time has left you feeling rejeuvinated. Take care.
I'm sorry to hear that, Rick! I guess it is for the good, but I am glad that we are trusted to tend to our own business here--for the most part! I am certainly rejuvenated after that visit, my friend, and I hope to be able to do it again soon!
