This Wednesday Seemed To Be a Day of Loose Ends!

Hello everyone in Wealthy Affiliate!

Have you ever had one of those days when, for every loose end you managed to tie up (ie. lingering problem solved), another one crops up right behind it?

I have had one of those days!

The first part of the day was my normal 1 1/2 to 2 hour visits with the Wealthy Affiliate community before starting my work day, which started with an out-of-town unlock of a car.

When I finished I then had to deal with an impatient (and cheap) customer, who wanted something done yesterday, but wasn't willing to the pay the price to accomplish it!

Moreover, several other jobs need a few loose ends tied up, and I managed to finish at least one of them today. Of course another older customer who wanted an estimate for a job from a couple of months ago leaves a message today wondering where the door handle they wanted me to order was.

I patiently tried to remind them that they did not wish to pay the cost of what I was going to have to order to fit their specific application. Of course, you can imagine how that is going to likely end up. I'm still waiting on a text reply.

On another note, while I am waiting around, I went to the eBay house and trimmed a few overgrown bushes down a little, and look what I found in the secluded area in the back yard under the behemoth of an oak tree located there.

It reminds me of a flower oasis!

After I finished there, it was time to finally go home.

Arriving there, I immediately began working in Wealthy Affiliate once again, and did so far an hour or so before it was time to prepare a meal! I cobbled together another one of my famous (or perhaps, infamous) stir-fry creations.

It certainly hit the spot as an early dinner for a change and went down good with a couple of beers! While I was eating, I had a little visitor at the base of the table--Star--the little girl of the Blog Dog Duo. I'm not really sure where her brother Shadow got off to!

I guess the flash from my camera phone caused her to squint!

Shortly after I finished eating, it was time to take her and her brother outside!

There they did their business and then ran around and played for a while.

Watching them play was a pleasant and welcome distraction from the hectic day that I had!

After a couple of hours of watching my normal news shows to help me unwind, I am now at the computer working within the Wealthy Affiliate blogs while also typing this post!

WE HAVE NOW SUCCESSFULLY MADE IT PAST "HUMP DAY"

The weeks seem to be flying by now!

Some days are better than others, but as long as you are making progress and enjoying life - then any day like that is a good day too...

Some customers are a pain - and frankly, some need to be given the opportunity to seek help elsewhere.

Have a great day Jeff!

Best regards,

L.D. Sewell

L.D.! I do believe that is exactly what I needed to hear this morning. A couple of these people are free to look around and seek a solution elsewhere! It has all become clear, my friend!

Enjoy your day!

Jeff

You always seem so laid back about everything Jeff and get through an amazing amount of work.
Those flowers are very pretty.

Thank you, Linda! I try to do my best, and yes those flowers were quite a pleasant surprise!

Jeff

That sounds like a pretty awesome day, Jeffrey. I realize that screaming or annoying clients can be the worse. Seems to me that you took all of this pretty well, in stride while keeping your cool. You appear to me to be like that mythical happy person we hear about when someone tries to cheer us up.

I'm sure you have your moments, but all things considered, I think you're a glass-is-half-full sort of guy.🍺

Thank you kindly, Joss, and the glass you provided is the right kind of glass too!

Jeff

You definitely had a busy day today.

I know the feeling of the non-responsive customer/client. I have two of those.

I was supposed to meet with a possible client last week and at the last minute he cancelled out on me. So, I responded with a text for him to let me know when he was ready to reschedule.

Well, here we are a week later and no text. Oh well... I imagine he will call when he is ready for his website.

So, it can be frustrating. I hope tomorrow is better for you.

At least you did get some things accomplished.

Cheers to you!

Bob

Thanks, Bob! It's GREAT to hear from you, and I know that you can relate!

Much appreciated, and as you know, these sorts of customers are par for the course. Perhaps I simply needed to vent a little!

Thanks for reaching out and enjoy the rest of your week!

Jeff

It seems to be the norm for me lately... That's okay, one of these days someone will legitimately will need me to build their website.

Enjoy your weekend!

You bet they will, Bob! Keep persevering! Enjoy your weekend!

Good luck with those cagey oldsters, they can be a hand full. That dinner looked pretty good, you seem to love that stir fry. Well, Jeff, your my last WA post of the night, I always try to hang in there until I can check out your last post, I have put my best WA effort into it and succeded, now off to watch a movie and bed at 3 am.

Joe

Take care, Joe, and your comment is much appreciated, my friend!
I hope all is well.

I do like that stir fry, because it is fast and good, plus a lot of left overs which might otherwise go to waste, instead goes in my belly!
(Which of course, some would argue is STILL a waste! πŸ™„)

Enjoy the movie and the rest of your week, my friend!

Jeff
