Talking, Therapy, & Tedious Toil Thursday!
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
I finished up my Wealthy Affiliate Community routine fairly quickly this morning! I talked to Kevin most of that time. He is doing a little better, but still has a little pain!
Tig-Tig was in the room too! She looked like she might wish to help!
When I finished this task, I let the Blog Dogs outside for a bit! Monica had already left to assist her sick daughter at her house!
I then headed to the eBay house to tackle a little research and other tasks! The drive over was nice! The weather was mostly sunny, but very cool!
I did a little more Wealthy Affiliate research, and was about to start the other tasks, when my friend Kevin called again! He was having a couple of ill-advised beers, since he was having trouble going to sleep, so we talked about his upcoming visit!
Monica called, and I clicked over to her for a minute, and she reminded me that her last therapy session was in a short while! I almost forgot! I switched back to Kevin and he let me go!
The drive there was equally beautiful! It was around 1 pm, by this time!
I'm glad I didn't miss this last therapy session because the therapist did a new procedure called "Cupping". It was a little unsettling to watch, but Monica said it didn't hurt real bad!
He used a suction gun on some glass cups which caused the blood to collect and somehow improve the circulation! I thought it looked like some sort of Medieval torture! The cups had to remain in place for 5 minutes. Monica sent the above pic to me!
This was the aftermath, which went away after about 10-15 minutes! (Shudder!)
Then we parted ways again, and this time I headed over to my limestone warehouse complex where Sylvester and his crew were removing garbage and debris from the property!
It was a busy afternoon. Thankfully, there were no locksmith calls again. I'm not too worried about that, the jobs usually come in spurts!
When he was done, I followed him back to turn in the rented skid loader! (he had it for another job, and used it to clean up some things at my place too before he had to turn it in!) By now the sky was clouding up!
As I was heading back over to the eBay house to finish up the tasks I started earlier, there were even more clouds!
I did more computer work, and even started writing this blog post! I took a break when my mom called briefly, and took another shot of the sky! It was brighter than before, but there were still rows of clouds in the distance!
The rest of my evening will be spent filling the trashcan at the eBay house, and then heading home to spend some more time with Monica since her 4-day weekend shift starts again!
I HOPE EVERYONE HAD A TERRIFIC DAY TODAY! FOR MOST OF US ANOTHER FRISATSU STARTS TOMORROW! (SOME ARE ALREADY THERE!)

That is the first time I have ever heard about "cupping"!
It does seem a little medieval to me as well, but as long as it didn't hurt as much as the electric shock treatment and proves to be beneficial then who am I to question the quacks methods!

After reading through the comments here, I have learned a lot about cupping too!!
It wouldn't be on the top of any rehabilitative procedures I would like to endure, but I have certainly been through worse in my time!
My Friday portion has actually been well so far, so, an early night could conserve that until the morning!
It's half past midnight now, so that's an early night in my book!

The weeks seem to be going by faster and faster! That cupping procedure didn't look too comfortable!

It was, all-in-all, Alex! Tig-Tig has never recovered to her pre-vaCATion form! I should have never agreed to her having one all those months ago! 🙀 I had never seen anything like that before with those cups!

Aww cupping, which originally comes from ancient Chinese medicine and goes much further back than medieval history. It looks terrible, but it doesn't hurt at all. In some cases, it may feel like slight pinching which eases after a couple of seconds. The marks look like bruises when they are darker, but they are nothing like bruises, especially in how they fade without changing color.
As a massage therapist, I provide cupping to my clients. I use silicone cups that are manually pressurized by pressing on the tops and sides to create suction. Cupping does much more than increasing circulation, it brings stagnant dead cells to the surface of the skin allowing the lymphatic system to flush them out. It assists with the healing of injured tissue.
Some people love how it makes them feel. Monica must not have much old stuff laying around in her system if her marks came out so light. Some people are left with marks that are almost black in color! It shows how well she takes care of herself.

As a regular client of mine said yesterday, 70% of my business is customer relations. More than half of that is educating my clients. There's so much more to massage therapy than putting on the oil, haha.
