Superb Snowy Sunday Seems So-So Surreal!
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
I blissfully stayed under my NINE layers of blankets until almost 10 am!
Then, of course, I deep dove into the Wealthy Affiliate Community with a vengeance!
Kitty was also right there with me, faithful feline that she is! What would I do without her, I wonder?
We have reached 17 degrees Fahrenheit, which is likely the high for the day!
It is beautiful though! I've got to head over to the locksmith house in a little while though!
First, of course, I performed some Wealthy Affiliate research!
As I have always said, there is no day that is deemed complete without it!
I also put a charge of the Ford van too!
It finally started, but I fear that the cold weather has finally taken its toll! We shall see though!
There was also a quick errand that I needed to run first!
Finally finished with that, I took a picture of the sun! Then it was off to the shop!
The drive over there was quite scenic, indeed!
Here's another shot pf the drive! At least some streets here in this town were cleared! Surprise Surprise!
Before I went inside to take a long hot, soul cleansing shower, I captured this image of the sun!
It was about ready to set for the day!
When I finally left the shop house, it was dark! I hate that daylight savings time!
Finally back to the eBay house after dark, I will leave everyone with the final image of the Blog Dogs that Monica sent to me the other day.
I'm expecting another friend from Nebraska to pass through this evening, and he will be stopping by the eBay house when he is in town! His name is Duane! I was in the army with him, but we called him "Beav" since his last name is Mathers! Think "Leave it to Beaver" with Jerry Mathers as the Beaver!
Anyway, we might go eat, or we might just visit! It all depends upon when he arrives!
Either way, I will spend the rest of the evening on the computer before climbing under the NINE blankets again for a blissful sleep!
I HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAD A WONDERFUL SUNDAY PORTION OF THE NEW YEAR'S DAY FRISATSU! NOW IT IS ON TO THE FIRST WORK WEEK OF 2022! LET''S HIT THE GROUND RUNNING THIS NEW YEAR AND MAKE IT A GREAT ONE!

OMG, that's seriously cold! I just calculated 17F to Centigrade and it's minus 8 degrees! I can't imagine that as it rarely gets that cold here. In fact it's still a tropical 9C here! Glad you have Kitty for company, and yes cats are just as loyal as dogs. Love the snowy photos, and the one of the blog dogs. Hope you enjoyed Duane's visit as it's good to catch up with friends.
I sure did, Kathy! Duane is headed for some job interviews further east in the state! We talked and at and then visited until 2 am!

Yes, it is very cold here! I'm glad that Kitty is here with me, otherwise, there would be some very lonesome days right now!

Brrrr rather you than me Jeff! I had enough of this weather in Canada a few decades ago. If I want snow, I can drive up to the mountains around LA.
Do you mean you PREFER Daylight Savings Time? That ended after Halloween. We are now in Standard Time.

It has been sub-zero temperatures here for the past couple of days, and it is likely to continue! 🥶

Jeff, it sounds as if you are adding blankets! I saw snow then clear roads, is everything okay on your streets? 17 degrees is a bit cold to me so I will continue to write you from a distance, a long distance.

The roads here are bad in places, Canty! I'm trying to do as little as possible waiting for all this mess to blow over!
YES! The Blog Dogs do agree! I'm glad they are still at the house with Monica! It would be a nightmare scenario here!

The White stuff doesn't seem to want to stick around too long there my friend during this early part of the winter season..!!
A shame, as it is beautiful when it settles well.. there is plenty more time before Spring kicks in again though for a serious dusting!!🌨🌨🤣
But good news... Joyce managed to contact me my friend.. all is well with her and the family apart from a little storm damage to the home and a lack of outside coms as we first thought...
She hopes that things will be nearing normality soon and then will be back in contact with us all here...

We managed to reach 41 degrees Fahrenheit today, but I would be surprised if it gets any higher though! Still, I'm not complaining at all!
I was hoping that it was only the coms that got knocked out!

But by the end of the week we could possibly see a little of the white stuff too.. as long as it is not absurdly cold as you have been recently, then no problem for me..!!

The temperature has certainly taken a nose dive here today Jeff and there is a touch of the white stuff in the area.. but nothing as cold as you will be experiencing today!!🤣
