Superb & Serene Sunday!
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
This will likely be a shorter post than usual. I slept very well last night! Nevertheless, I am still tired, but I suspect that it is more emotional exhaustion rather than physical! I will persevere though, no matter what!
Aside from the title image, I also took a couple more images of the new day!
So, it already looks to be shaping up into a wonderful day! I have, of course, been relaxing during a good portion if it, so far.
Naturally, I did perform my morning routine of perusing the overnight messages within the vibrant Wealthy Affiliate Community!
Kitty seemed up to the task this morning though! After all, she slept late with me!
I then went outside and relaxed for a while, catching this image of a Robin flitting about the yard!
I also was lucky enough to catch another image of a rabbit too!
Then it was time to feed the Blog Dogs. They have been patient with me so far.
With them eating now, it was time to do a little reading for my Wealthy Affiliate Research. Not a lot today, but I do want to get something done.
Maybe, I'll get some writing done on the site too, though I have been writing more on my current manuscript, so at least there is that! Some productivity is always better than no productivity!
My mother called today, so I was happy to talk to her for about an hour, and right after that, my buddy Kevin called from work at the railroad, and I talked to him for about an hour too! This was really nice because I have not heard from Monica verbally since yesterday morning.
I did know that she ended up taking off half a day yesterday to take the kids to the Sundown Salute festival vial a text. I texted back to her: "Have Fun"! No invite and no further communication.
Today has been the same way! She is off from work today in observance of the 4th of July since she has to work on Monday. I still have not heard from her, so I hope she has been having a good day. Ah well, the writing is on the wall, but I am too stubborn to admit it.
I'll keep a positive attitude as best that I can, and I shall persevere, no matter what! Besides, today is perfect walking weather for the Blog Dogs, but I told them no to expect a visit. I guess they are stuck with me, and I am happy to have them! Of course, the day is not over yet though!
I had to run an errand on the motorcycle, so it gave me a short ride and a little time out of the house too!
When I finished the errand, I also took an image of the sky over one of the main drags in town.
I'll leave this with you all as I close out this post.
The temp at this time was about 90 degrees F, but it didn't feel too bad!
The rest of the evening, barring any unexpected developments will be spent relaxing, and then later on in the evening, I might be back on the computer some more!
I HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAD AN EXCELLENT SUNDAY PORTION OF FRISATSU! FOR THOSE OF US IN THE U.S., WE ALSO CELEBRATE INDEPENDENCE DAY ON MONDAY, SO WE GET ONE EXTRA DAY! I GUESS THAT MAKES THIS ANOTHER FRISATSUMO!

I spent too much time today trying to chase a snake out of my flowerbeds and deal with a leak in the cellar. There's never a dull moment. Otherwise, a good day. I hope you have a pleasant, restful evening. Maybe you'll get a call tonight.

Trying to catch it before it slithers off is the problem. The repellant isn't working and we're not fast enough...yet. 🤔
It's mature, but just a gartersnake...not poisonous. I just want it gone though as it's too close to the house. The repellent has always worked but this one hasn't gotten the message. Eeks. 🐍
I've had Garter snakes before here too, Susan! They are crafty little devils and they do bite occasionally. I looked for a picture of one that I had. I'll send it later if I find it!

they catch mice so they're assets in that way...
suggest check for mice?
and generally garters are very shy... once the food source
is gone, then, they'll likely slither away to yonder other
places ... hopefully ...

Good to know, Jeff...they are fairly common. I'm in the country next to water, so it's no surprise. I just don't want a "nest" of them too close lol. I managed to get a pic today, but my computer is acting up. Will try to attach tomorrow. If you find one, pls send :-)
Hi Keisha...they are good for mice, yes. But I have a phobia and don't like them on my windowsill or right outside the door like I saw today. They have a whole forest at their disposal to slither away to. Hopefully soon...we shall see :-)) Take care!

Umm...no. Not happening, Jeff! Not in my lifetime 😳. I got my son to relocate 2 of them today...now hopefully that's the end of it. 🙏

Yes, it was rather large and bigger than I've ever seen. Not a welcome sight, I can tell you but it is now gone...hopefully to not be seen again :-))
yup ... in the photo it actually looks kinda like a 'rattler' to me ... the coloring, pattern of scales -- only the tail tip which can't be seen would confirm it or not...
but hey whadda i know? ...
well, if at least two have been found -- perhaps a nest of them nearby? ...
frankly, not too fussed about reptiles and such, so really no need to have any around ... lol ...
sure looks huge though for a wee garden garter?!! ...

I don't care for them much either, but I suspect they have their good uses in the garden, perhaps controlling other pests or something!

It's definitely a gartersnake...but a most certainly unwanted reptile that has now been removed. We have not seen any more so hopefully that will be the end of it. Some years we see them and others we don't. The other one was quite small.
They do serve their purpose, Jeff and I have no issue except when they are 2 feet away from the door or window. Yikes. Hopefully no more will appear but this is one of those weird years where they are around unfortunately.
Happy the July the 4th!!! Enjoy......i'm always tired but i will see a gynacolist since mine has to do with menapause.....Monica will come around but it will take time......but you all of us here.... my TV broke down and went to Walmart to buy another one.....hopefully my friend will be able to install it tomorrow night........my car will be fixed around Feb or March 2023.......take care......

Sorry to hear you are feeling exhausted. It sounds like you're on an emotional rollercoaster. Sometimes all we can do is look for the good in the things around us to elevate us. Like your gorgeous blog dogs, and kitty, and the little visitors like Robin and Rabbit. And of course our friends and family who are there for us through thick and thin.
Frisatsumo. What an excellent term for a long weekend! I do hope you have a fabulous 'mo' portion of that!

Thanks, Melissa! A lot of it is likely mental exhaustion! I am on an emotional roller coaster, but the beer is helping to smooth it out a little!
I always look for the positive things to lift me up, and so far, I'm making it!
The furry assistants are always here for me, thank goodness for that! I'd likely go stir crazy without them!

As for me, I'm happy to be unattached...but, then, at my age, why not?
Got my post published and new products typed and images added for tomorrow. Now I think I'll start a new post. I'm sure looking forward to the "pie feed" tomorrow morning.Wondering if they will allow me to buy pieces from three different pies...then will bring them home and eat at my leisure.

Talking about cheers, I broke the 3-week drought and had 3 well-deserved brews last night. Went down a treat and Dr. Stevois advice is now every 2 weeks I will let my hair down and have 2 0r 3 quiet ones..
