Sunday was relaxing, Monday is slow! Still recovering from the Holiday, I Guess!
Hello everyone in Wealthy Affiliate! I'm still playing "catch-up" on emails after the heavy work week last week and the holiday weekend--slowly but surely!
The weather here on Sunday and now on Monday has been HOT. It doesn't make me want to do very much! On Sunday, I basically wrote on one of my book projects and slept a little more than usual!
Now on Monday, I finally heard from Frank and so I went to his house and picked him up so could perform some errands. When that was finished, I drove him to his sales lot, but after he had been there for a half hour, he wasn't feeling it heat-wise, so I took him home early!
I didn't have any money work today which was A-Okay with me!
I went back home and relaxed for a while, but did also watch a couple of Jay's training videos again.
I also watched the evening news with Shadow! Even he seemed out of it!
Meanwhile, Tig-Tig, was tentatively venturing into the room. (Her and the Blog Dogs are still not totally on terms).
These were a couple of largely uneventful days for a change. I'm definitely not complaining!
It allowed me to rest and gather my tax paperwork up for later this week!

Good Morning General,
We are in a bit of a heat wave up here as well.
Sunday was a pretty productive day...got our camper all washed up....looks like new. Then went home and got ready for the new work week. Yesterday was a little hectic here at work so the day flew by. The rest of the week promises to keep me busy at work and out. Tonight I have a drill/meeting at the firehouse, tomorrow night is a rescue drill at another department and Thursday night I am hosting yet another fire company here at my yard for some cross training....busy, but should be fun.

I hope that you will get some relief from the heat pretty soon. You could send some of it to Norway.

I would, Roy, but every time someone here has requested some of my weather, the Post Office seems to misdirect the package, so I give up! Take care, my friend and have a GREAT new week!

Catching up on some of the training vids counts for being productive, at least in my book. Stay out of the heat as much as possible Jeff and stay hydrated. Say hello to Frank for me when you see him.

Isn't it funny how holidays and Mondays affect us! It's hot here, too but yesterday I took my sweet wife back to the spot where I met her when I was eight years old in a little one-room schoolhouse. There's a Baptist church there now, but we stood where the front of the school used to be and I took her in my arms again and kissed her, remembering with thanksgiving the over 65 years we have spent together in the bonds of matrimony. Corny? Maybe to you but not me.
