Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!

After I finished my morning virtual travels through the Wealthy Affiliate Community (with Tig-Tig hiding behind the floor fan for some reason), it was time to get a little yard work accomplished.

Then I got some trash out of the house and the can moved up to the front portion of the yard so that I could roll it on out Sunday evening for the Monday morning pick up!

By this time, the Blog Dogs were out in the freshly cut lawn.

Shadow was sniffing around and generally acting silly!

Star did her business and was back up on the porch waiting to be let back in the air-conditioned house. The temp was already in the high 90s (Fahrenheit).

I went over to the locksmith shop house to pick up the car. I was going to take to Samantha to the empty middle school parking lot to practice parking the car, and we were also going to drive some laps.

I needed to get the car cleaned out so that there would be room for us to do this!

Jacob went with us too! (Monica, of course, was working).

Even though it was hot by the time we got there, it was still a fun experience! Since she turned 14 ten days ago, she will soon be able to take the test for her learner's permit. She has been studying hard!

She did not do bad at all. She was very careful. When we were finished, we all went to Sonic and got some slushes, and since we were only a few blocks from there mother's work, we stopped and paid her a visit too!

Then it was time to go back over to the house! It was still hot, but there were some clouds in the sky which had not been there before!

I let Samantha drive the last quarter-mile stretch to where we live, since it is private property, and she did extremely well!

Then it was time for me to go to the eBay house and take care of some more business there! It is never a dull moment as there seems to be no end to the tasks and chores there!

While I was there, I also did a little more research in Wealthy Affiliate pertaining to my future enterprise which has been shaping up in my mind! I always say that there is never a dull moment on the platform either!

I am a slow learner, but am in no rush, since the primary reason I came in the first place was for the excellent hosting and site support! Everything else is a BIG bonus!

I also took periodic breaks with my "buddies" under the tree in front of the eBay house which I have been fastidiously clearing out of dead fall. It has been a work in progress, but is still shaping up nicely!

I am also contemplating riding the motorcycle in a little while when I find a stopping point.

I'll ride it over to the house where, hopefully Monica and I will have another nice quiet evening as well!

I SINCERELY HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAS HAD A SAFE AND SUCCESSFUL SATURDAY PORTION OF FRISATSU! THE SUNDAY PORTION IS APPROACHING FAST FOR ME, AND I KNOW THAT MANY ARE ALREADY THERE!

A good Saturday, Jeff but hot as blazes. I did the yard Sat/ AM and Sun/ AM. I bought a Mission cooling sun hat, soak in cool water, wring it out, keeps the head 25-30 degrees cooler. Huge difference. Didn't break a sweat until I got off the mower, don't know why I took the hat off.
I remember teaching Michael how to drive, we started on a backhoe digging ditches, it was a blast and a fine memory.
Hope you have an amazing new week, friend.

I need to get one of those hats too, Roger! It sounds like it did the job!

Ah, the good old days of teaching kids to drive! I'm still in for it for a little while longer!

Enjoy your new week, my friend!😎

Jeff

That's how I learned to drive back in the day, Jeff. Find an empty parking lot after hours, like the mall, and hope security doesn't come and kick you out. I haven't seen a Pontiac Grand Am since the 90s! 😎🐢🐱🐢

Isaiah 😊

it is the absolute best way, Isaiah, because you can get the feel of the car without the idiots around!πŸ˜‰

Hi Jeff. Sounds like a great way to spend a Saturday, some fun times and learning too with the kids. Hope you and Monica had a relaxed evening and that your Sunday is going well too.
We have had multiple birthday celebrations here this weekend, ahead of a weeks holiday :)
Wishing you a great week ahead.
Tracy

Wow, Tracy! Sounds like GREAT fun! We had a nice evening! Thank you!

Jeff

Excellent news Jeff :)

Thank you, Tracy! I couldn't have asked for anything more!

That does sound like a sublimely, superb sunny Saturday my friend!

14 does seem a bit young to start driving to me, how old do you need to be before you can pass your driving test for real and can drive alone there?

"Fastidiously"! There's a word I don't hear a lot in general conversation!

I'm happy to hear that you are paying extreme attention to detail with your clean up at the Ebay house!

I hope that your Sunday portion is a chilled and relaxing one Jeff!

It's pouring down rain here right now, Nick! I got the 8th street property mowed in the Nick of time (pardon the pun). She will be 16 or 17 by the time she can drive by herself!

Have a wonderful Sunday portion of Frisatsu!

At least the rain will keep the temperatures down a bit Jeff!

Love the pun! No pardoning needed when it comes to mowing my friend🀣!

Interesting, a couple of years of practice before being able to drive alone, from what I remember, it was a bit different back home, back in the day!

No complaints yet on this sunny Sunday for me, we've just finished up a Korean barbecue 'salad', and a nap may be in order very soon!

Yum, that Korean BBQ salad sounds wonderful, Nick!

Yes, she is doing it this way, because then, there is no need for Driver's ed!

Enjoy the rest of your day!

It was wonderful Jeff! If you have never tried one before, check out a recipe for 'bulgogi', its very easy to prepare and cook at home!

Sounds like she is doing it the right way then, and with you as an instructor what could go wrong!

Enjoy the rest of your day too my friend!

We have a Korean restaurant down the block! Bulgogi is fantastic, Nick!

🐫😾🐢🐢🐫

That is great to hear my friend! The Korean restaurants in lyon are unfortunately well below par, so it's always better to cook at home!

πŸ€” Very true, Nick!
