Perseverance and Attitude

Perhaps like the puppy (which is mine) pictured above, when we first entered Wealthy Affiliate we were wowed by all we saw--way more than we could comprehend. We were on fire trying to gobble up and absorb every single thing we could get a hold of. At the end of the day it became very tiring, indeed!

I believe that the keys to success here on this wonderful platform is PERSEVERANCE backed up by the proper ATTITUDE! Follow the training, which is something that I--as I'm sure many others, as well--DIDN'T do, deciding instead that we knew better, skipping and jumping around, building multiple sites because we found out that we could.

Along the way, complacency may have set in, and more and more we started goofing off, or exploring the next shiny object!

However, during those 'goofing-off' periods, I, myself learned A LOT, as am sure so did many others here on the platform.

Of course, sometimes we need to buckle down, and get busy--set some realistic goals, and then take the proper steps towards achieving them, while maintaining the proper ATTITUDE along the way! That proper ATTITUDE is key to our ultimate success!

Certainly we will all stumble and fall along the way for a variety of reasons, But we must pull ourselves up and stay the course! When bad things happen, it is how we face and OVERCOME them that allows us to GROW and remain on track--not just in the business we are hoping to establish here in Wealthy Affiliate, but in LIFE as well! Thanks for reading, Friends!

Thank you Jeff for this wonderful post. I quitted last year and then I've been here for a year now and i'm getting to the stage where i'm trying to build 2 sites at the same time when i couldn't even build up the front page of the first site for the all year. It's just too much information and I've been jumping all over the platform like a kid on a trampoline. But ! i made one decision that, i will not quit again until i pull this out. I just believe in this platform, i can feel it. I'm not going anywhere until i get it. I just bought the one year subscription. Thank you

That's awesome--and a fantastic attitude, Muvunyl. Thanks for stopping by, and best success to you in your renewed endeavors here!

Great post, Jeff! Are you looking over my shoulder, or WHAT? This is pretty much my journey that you are describing. The funny part is, you joined a few months after I did, so we've probably learned the same lessons! And after everything I've learned, I feel like I should be an expert here! Keep at it my friend, we'll make it!

Steve

I appreciate that Steve, and you're right, we WILL make it!

Yes Indeed,
Atitude and perseverance are key.
When I first started Jeff, I tried to do everything all at once and panicked like crazy when something didn't make sense, like all the time.
Now I have learned to step away and breathe and take my time. Going over the training until it did make sense.
I have 3 blog sites now and maintain another business site but because I step back and set goals as well as breathe they don't seem to be so much of a headache.

Best Wishes
Louise

PS Gorgeous puppy :-))

Thank you, Louise. I'm thinking of putting a few of my sites in maintenance mode right now--as soon as I can remember how to do it so that I can finish my training with ONE site for now.

Jeff

If you need the space to learn more and to concentrate on one site then that is a solid idea.

I do, Louise, moreover, I've had a couple of PMs about my book website not going any further than the opening page! I think its best to put them in that mode until I can do with them what I intend to do! Thanks!
