Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!

First of all, Happy Mother's Day! My day was quite a bit different today than normal ones! Last night, Monica called after she got off of work, and I told her that I planned to come over and make her a Mother's Day breakfast.

She seemed non-committal at first, so I called her this morning at 6 am, and she still said to come on if I wanted to! She needed eggs though, so after getting dressed, my first order of business was heading to Walmart, which was the only store open at the time!

Of course, it was raining!

I didn't have much I needed to get while inside. Then it was over to the house we shared since we bought it, back when we were still together (title image).

It was raining just a little less on the way over there!

When I arrived, I carried the ingredients in and bid Monica a good morning!

She always looks "happy" to see me! Very soon, I got the pancakes and eggs going!

Monica assisted with hers since she knew how long she wanted her "Sunny-side up" eggs to be cooked.

She also kept Dogtilla from interfering too much, but I must admit, for the most part, the German Shepard behaved itself.

I was still busy flipping pancakes and preparing my omelet!

Above is Monica's finished dish, and below is mine!

I was putting the finishing touches on mine and she was already chowing down on hers!

We had a lot of good conversation, but as usual, the time literally flew by! The oldest stepdaughter (the PSD) wasn't at home, but staying at her boyfriend's house as she does most times, leaving Monica to feed and care for her dog, and Samantha and Jacob were still asleep because they seem to stay up all hours of the night.

I had asked her the night before if her kids were going to make her a Mother's Day breakfast since she had to work today, and she had said no, which is why I initiated this whole affair. Somebody HAS to do it, so it might as well be me who took charge!

We finally parted ways when she had to go to work!

She was actually smiling when I captured the above image, but ever since my phone's unwanted upgrade, my camera is a tad slower!

Since I was on the same side of town as the locksmith shop house, I headed over there next. The Jeep has been acting up again, and it was time to "give it a rest"! I switched out to grab the car for a little while! It is not running any better, but it will be a welcome change of pace for a little while!

I also called my mother and wished her a Happy Mother's Day and talked to her for almost two hours while I was switching equipment in the vehicles.

Out of the blue, Sylvester and his helper showed up to mow the shop house yard, and the next door neighbor's house. I also had to talk a little business, but mom was ready to let me go anyway, so it all worked out!

He also acquired a van which might fit my needs and says we'll horse trade for it when I asked him how much he wanted.

When I finally made it back to the eBay house, Kitty was ready to be fed again, since she had already eaten at 4:30 am when I got awakened by the Blog Dogs who wanted to go outside!

I fed her, and both of them too!

I was working diligently on the computer on my website again--which has assumed most of my current Wealthy Affiliate research time lately--when I got a locksmith call to go unlock a house!

Today, Kitty had not been participating in the website work, so I quickly left and made a quick $60.

When I left to do the job, the sun was coming out--go figure!

Coming back from the drive was pleasant too! The rest of the day and evening will be spent on the computer, phone, and then possibly some relaxation later!

I hope that Mother's Day was a huge success for everyone!

I HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAS HAD A VERY SUCCESSFUL FRISATSU ENDING WITH MOTHER'S DAY! MINE HAS BEEN BETTER THAN MOST! NOW IT IS ON TO ANOTHER NEW WORK WEEK!

You’ve obviously outdone yourself in the kitchen, Jeff. What a nice thing to do! 👍

I did the same for Stacy and always help as much as possible, but she’s definitely the boss in the kitchen. She has the same Breville little oven and really loves it.

I defintely tried my best, Frank! She deserved something for Mother's Day, and the kids really didn't graps the significance! I should have routed them out of bed when I got there like a Drill Sergeant and put them to work waiting on thier mother, like she always does for them!

Thanks for the kind words!

Jeff

Yeah, things seem a little different today. We were all brought up in my family to cherish our parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and everyone else.

It’s a very complicated world, especially for children.

Maybe I’m just getting old! 😊

We are both getting old, Frank! I share your sentiments wholeheartedly!

Jeff

Looks like you had a grand Mother's day!

Really spot on for you to make breakfast for Monica before work.

A little rain, a little sun, Sylvester mowed your shop yard.. I'd say everything went your way!

A lock job to top it off!

You are thriving my friend!

I'm using too many exclamation marks again, but I just can't help myself🤣

Roll on, Jeff!

Al

It certainly was, Al, and I hope yours was just as enjoyable!

I wanted to see her, and I knew the kids wouldn't do it before she had to go to work!

I must admit, it turned out being a productive day!

I hope you ad a GREAT one!

Let's both keep thriving into the new week!

Jeff

That's a busy day, Jeff...M must have appreciated that special pancake breakfast! So great you could spend the time together. And I'm sure your mom must have enjoyed that long conversation. Sounds like a great day was had...the weekend sure flew by.

Susan 😸🐕‍🦺🐶

It was, indeed, Susan, but it was so worthwhile! I'd do it all over again each and every day if I could! We used to do this a lot when I lived at home!

Frisatsu was like a wisp of smoke! They seem to go faster and faster as we move through life, which is why these times that I do get with her are like pure gold!

Just another Sunday here, Mother's day is celebrated on a different day in Thailand (the Queen's birthday). That being said I did spend some time thinking about my mother yesterday.

It looks like yours was a good day, Jeff. We always used to do breakfast for mum on mothers day when I was growing up.

Alex

When does that fall on, Alex?

No matter what, I'm glad you had good thoughts of your mother, my friend!

We tried to do the same things for our mother every year too!

Jeff

They first celebrated Mother's day in 1950 here, in 1976 the date was changed to the 12th of August (the birthday of Queen Sirikit) - the wife of the previous King.

Alex

Ah, I see! Thank you for that info, my friend! I hope the new week is getting started in fine fashion for you!

Jeff

Good for you, and good for Monica for agreeing. Progress, I'd say. Glad your day was satisfactory.

It's beautiful here today...I actually took a walk. Took along my notes for the next videos I'm making, as I get bored with the same chunk of road that I walk all the time. This time, I practiced my video scripts and the walk went quickly.

Expected my son to call by now, but forgot to turn my phone on until almost noon. I hope his bout of the flu didn't return.

Thanks, Fran. I know that it made my day to be able to do that for her, and I hope that it made hers at a least a little better.

Today was a wonderful day weather-wise too, but I was quite tired, but neverthless made the most of the day.

I hope your son is alright, and has reached out to you now, or perhaps will certainly do so tomorrow.

Happy Mother's Day.

Jeff
