Mild monday!

Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate! It has been a superbly mild Monday with partly cloudy skies lending to some astoundingly beautiful cloud formations!

Moreover, our high temperature was only 79 degrees Fahrenheit!

I worked on my book project this morning and managed three more pages, and I also did my normal work in Wealthy Affiliate!

Then, even though Frank sold his building last week, there is still many things that he needs to do there, so I drove him over and got him started before I had to leave to do my own work.

No worries though, because when I did leave, I left him in the care of another colleague of ours who also made sure that he got home later in the day.

I had a couple of bills to drop off to customers and an estimate to do. When I completed those tasks, then I went to the nursing home to pick up the master keys for a couple of new locks that will be installed there soon!

When I dropped off some tools and locks at the 15th shop house, I couldn't help but notice the beauty of the mushrooms growing next door in a vacant lot!

There were many more of them, but I couldn't fit them all in a picture that would be clear enough!

I wish I knew if they were poisonous or edible, because I love mushrooms and these are rather large!

I finished some other work before finally heading home at around 5:30pm.

Once there, I started some more work within Wealthy Affiliate and added yet another couple of pages into my book project.

Of course, I needed to keep abreast of events here in the United States, so I watched the evening news as well. During this period, I ate dinner. The Blog Dogs were a captive audience during this time--but not at the news on TV, more about what might drop from my fork to the floor. They are would-be beggars, but notice their food dishes close by.

I'm now putting the finishing touches on this post and then plan to do a little more in Wealthy Affiliate. I loaded another video on my YouTube channel, but it was freezing up, so I deleted it and will attempt to reload it later! I still have a lot to learn in that department!

I absolutely love all the things this platform has to offer, especially the community of my friends and colleagues from around the world, with whom it is my sincere pleasure to interact with on a daily basis. It is very awesome stuff, indeed!

The Blog Dogs agree!

EVERYONE HAVE A GREAT NEW DAY TOMORROW!

Sounds like a stupendous day! Avoid the mushrooms. Although, as a side note, I read a post yesterday about Lion's Mane mushroom coffee and I am planning to order some!

I am trying to keep up with my work, but some days are much harder than others!

I definitely hear you there, Karin! Let me know how that coffee turns out!

Jeff

I will let you know about the coffee. Apparently they take the mushroom taste out, so we shall see...

Hmmm, then what is the point? Unless of course it is coffee made from ground mushroom instead of coffee beans!

Yes. I believe it is coffee made from ground mushrooms instead of coffee beans.

Then that does make sense then! Very interesting!

Jeff

I am anxious to try it. It's kind of expensive, but is supposed to help with cognitive powers... Need those... LOL

Don't we all, Karin! Don't we all! ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘

I thought I had answered your blog, Jeffrey. I even went to check out your Youtube channel. I saw the dogs there doing the dishes. I guess somehow, I never came back t write my piece. You're doing a great job. Learning Youtube's intricacies is not always easy. Take care this week๐Ÿ€Here is a four leaf clover to help.

Thank you so much, Joss! It is a learning experience, indeed, and when I can afford to, I'll get a better camera other than my phone and do better!

Jeff

Hey Jeff,
Yes it is so great being able to interact with so many positive people from around the world on this platform, with so many creative activities!

I have a couple of friends who are good with the mushrooms! I would love to be able to pick them too!

Jacquie, there are so many, but I fear that the mowers will get to them before I do! Gotta research them a little!

Jeff

I love the pics of the clouds, they're great! Somewhere or other, I've got a vid of storm clouds rolling past our little town. I set up one of my video cams on a tripod and let it roll for about 3 hours. Took the footage and condensed it down to maybe 4 minutes, not really sure. The result is pretty cool to watch. Might just do a voice over and post it.

I envy you Jeff, you seem to have the ability to pop in and out of writer mode. I tried that, but found I lose continuity. Best practice for me is to write early mornings, or an hour or so before bed time.

Greg

Whatever works for the individual writer, Greg! I'm sure yours will be a huge success! Eagerly awaiting the storm cloud video!

Jeff

Hi Jeff nice post as always! The way you check whether mushrooms are poisonous or not is have a peek underneath their cover or "roof". If its white its toxic - if its brown you should be ok. Check first though with a local who is knowledgeable. American mushrooms might be different than aussie ones! I love mushrooms especially in stir fry!

Thank you for the information, Matt! I will have a look, because I know their days are numbered when the mowers come back! Mushrooms are delicious in all kinds of things: salads, pizza, and yes stir fry, with onions on steak, etc.! Too bad no one else in my current family like them! ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ
