Meaningful, Monumental Monday Meant More Moxie!
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
When Kitty and I crawled out of bed at a more respectable hour, we noticed that things seemed warmer! (no, it wasn't because of my new heated throw that my friend Kevin generously gave me--that will be broken out when another of our cold days arrive soon) Rather, it was because of the sun deciding to show up for a third day in a row!
The two above images show that it seems to be caught in the neighboring house's trusty tree!
Thus, this meant much more heat here at the eBay house for a change!
Below are two more images approaching the noon hour when the temperature had risen to 53 degrees Fahrenheit!
Kitty and I wasted no time getting our Wealthy Affiliate Community morning sojourn done!
This was quickly followed by some more Wealthy Affiliate research too, along with investigating another interest piece of image software shared by one of our esteemed members of this community! (Stevoi--take a bow!)With that accomplished, I can truly start the beginning of another new week!
I performed more tasks around the eBay house! I also received a locksmith call, but it was out of town and I no longer service safes, so I had a pleasant chat with the man and referred him to someone else who might be able to help him!
Shortly thereafter, I decided that it was time to go over to the locksmith shop house to drop off some items that needed to go there from the eBay house!
The next couple of images are of the drive over there!
As if on a dime, the skies started changing when I arrived there! Below is a shot from the field next door of the sky!
I went inside, filled up some water jugs, sorted some more locks there, finished carrying the boxes from the eBay house for another day's sorting, and adjusted the door latch on the storm door so that it would quit blowing open, since the winds had picked up.
I also talked to Kevin on the phone as I was performing these tasks! In addition, I charged up the old Buick that I used to drive in case it might be needed to get me through the winter too! It eventually started, and I ran it for a while too!

Weirdly, the skies facing me in the direction that I was going to depart the shop house were completely different! (below)
When I finally got back to the eBay house after running a couple of errands, I decided to call my buddy Ron, and took an image outside the jeep while I sat in the driveway talking to him for over an hour!
It looked like the sun was setting behind the neighboring house again!
Then it was time to carry in the purchases and get busy finishing this blog post on the computer! All in all, this has been an excellent start to the new week, and I look forward to seeing how things will turn out, moving forward!
Since Monica still has not sent me new pictures of the Blog Dogs, here is another shot of them from better times!
The rest of the evening will be spent on the computer and phone, while also occasionally working on getting the old living room opened back up, especially around the fireplace in the event that Monica does drop the Blog Dogs off as she said she was going to do!
I TRULY HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAD AN EXCELLENT FRISATSU AND HAVE STARTED OFF THIS NEW WEEK VERY SUCCESSFULLY!

Some great sky pictures here. Glad its warming up for you a little bit, the last couple days here in the Dallas area have been a bit warmer too. I was even able to take the kids out on the trampoline to get some sunshine yesterday (I figured it would help since they were sick!). Your town looks very nice and peaceful.
Thanks, Jeremy, although tonight we will be at 14 degrees Fahrenheit, and then a high of 28 tomorrow with overcast skies! Then four about the next four days 40s and 50s for the high, so not too bad going into February! (It could be a LOT worse!)
I,m glad you got to enjoy some time in the sun with your kids--sorry they are sick though!
For the most part, the town usually is peaceful and quiet, although it does have its rowdy moments too!

Jeremy, I commented on how peaceful his area looks, too. As a matter of fact, I used to live there while I was in the Army; I was assigned to Fort Riley--adjacent to Junction City KS--from 1976 to 1980 😊

Your morning skies looked just like ours, Jeff. But those afternoon skies not so friendly.
When it hit 60 at about 2pm, I spent the rest of the day (about 4 hrs) doing work in the garden. Great to get some fresh air and exercise.

The morning skies were excellent, but as if on as dime, the sky turned suddenly! We are supposed to have a low of 14 degrees tonight, and a high of 27 tomorrow, so a marked difference form the last few days, Archie!
I'm glad that your day allowed you to be productive for the most part--especially in your Garden! I am envious, my friend!

Your pics and writings today make me think of allegory. Look one way and you see cloudy skies, look the other way towards clear, sunny skies. It's strange when you see such quick changes of weather. Sounds like you're really making headway getting things cleaned up. Glad to see you had some nice warm, temps today too! Have a great evening! 😎

It is strange though how our weather seems to change so fast though!
I'm doing my best to get more organized just in case the Blog Dogs do show up ahead of schedule, although she called tonight and made no mention of them!
It's still best to be prepared, and these are things I had been putting off for a while anyway, so no harm there!
Our weather will be overcast and colder tomorrow, so there might be another fire in the fireplace!

Thank you, Antonietta! Kitty did just wake up and admittedly the picture was a little blurry too! Our weather is not too bad right now, but I think in the next day or two, it might get colder! I'm prepping the fireplace for some more action!

Great Pics, Jeff! I know you haven't been doing out of town locksmith work much lately so I didn't bother to call you. The bathroom door got locked and we apparently had no key and I checked with the landlord also. Nada.
I did have one locksmith tool in my toolbox and the hammer worked perfectly at removing the door knob and gaining access once again.
Sadly, the door knob did not survive the operation and will have to be replaced.
Coming up on Happy Hump Day here in about 4 hours.

🤣🤣😹 You're a little out of my service area anyway, Mel! A BFH works very well in most cases! (I'll bet you know what that stands for, my friend!)
Was it a Key lock or a Bed/Bath Privacy lock? If the latter you could have used a nail or a small screwdriver to trip the mechanism!
Either way your Marine ingenuity saved the day!

Yes, its a good Hump Day, Jeff. My head has stopped spinning so I picked up a few things in the city.
