I had the unfortunate experience of having a ban on my writing privileges imposed some time yesterday afternoon, but now I am back for the time being (Thanks everyone who helped. You are all very much appreciated!)
I will spend the remaining part of the day getting caught up with the Wealthy Affiliate Blogs, and then enjoy a quiet Sunday evening--the end of the first Frisatsu of 2021!

I just got out of jail today after 51 days. I couldn't even contact site support. I don't have many contacts with WA members outside of the platform but one very special friend really went the extra mile to find a way to get me free. If it wasn't for her I would have rotted there for all eternity. Nobody told me why I was banned and nobody responded to my emails.
I know, Chuck, and I wonder how many others who are gone, that we assume are just working on their businesses, but instead, are simply write-banned!
We are with you on this one glad to have you back was wondering what happened to most WA regulars. But the ban has been going on did not even know was in the back office.
Just glad that you can blog again.

Thank you both! I didn't want to stay banned for long either--didn't really want to get banned in the first place, but it has happened to people far better than me, so at least I am in good company!

Jeff, sorry to hear that happened to you. I don't understand why you would be banned, even temporarily, but then again, WA is a huge community, and there will always be the odd one that will complain, for reasons known only to themselves.

I know what you mean Brendan! Haters are going to hate, oh, look, you have a response from one of them now! Thanks for your kind sentiments. I'll keep pursuing my books and the sites I am developing to promote my physical business interests, which was the primary reason I came to WA. Eventually, I'll possibly pursue Affiliate Marketing, but that has never been my primary objective. The hosting here and all the extras are what brought me here.

Paying for something and getting banned from using it on the whim of someone else is getting beyond a joke!
I suppose you got no reason for it, like all the others.
Or even worse caused by a "glitch".
Has it yet occurred to the powers that be that just maybe its someone from outside deliberately targetting people to damage this company?
Yes, Linda, I do! One of them is floating around this post as well right now, but I've decided to be magnanimous and give them more rope to hang their self with! As for the other question. Spam built up over time was what I gather! Hopefully something will change, but that is only a hope!

This is just crazy Jeff and what is frustrating is that its the people who give back the most. I did not know this. Lovely to have you back... There is seems to be regular people coming in under the banner of starter members and causing trouble. Its very sad. Have they not seen the movie " the blog dogs return part 3" and "Tig-Tig the under cover cat detective". All the best, Phil
