An Exterior View of the EBAY House (Stay tuned for more of the Interior)

I thought before I would issue the second installment of my EBAY house "Peek" tour, that I might present some quick exterior views of the house that my second wife (who passed away in 2001) and I bought back in the nineties!

Shadow and Star declined to come with me on this quick photo shoot., likely because it was too cold for them and their new sweaters! It is in single digit wind chills right now, so I guess I can't blame them!

The exterior is in need of some repairs, and I do what I can, but have never been back at 100% since my hospital stay in December 2015, where I had to get half of my right foot amputated--though I do still get around pretty darned good, IMHO!

Here is my motorcycle garage and home locksmith shop (located under the eave and to the left.)

I added this on in 2013. It's not the prettiest, but does the job it was designed to do quite well!

Finally, my detached garage where a lot of my physical lock inventory is stored--plus part of my derelict vehicle fleet (I have vehicles stored at several locations).

What does this have to do with Wealthy Affiliate? Well, as many of you noted--there are hidden treasures located in the house you see in these pictures. Many got to see a little peek of what was inside on my previous post. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/jeffreybrown/blog/fancy-a-to...

We see an exterior view of Wealthy Affiliate when we join, but we do not see the hidden gems such as this vibrant worldwide community, which in my opinion is the GLUE which holds all this together.

THERE IS ALWAYS MORE TO SOMETHING THAN WHAT MEETS THE EYE!

If you want to see a gemstone, separate the strands of sand and let the sun's rays, reach it.

For sure are many Gems here on the WA platform. Just needs to
reach the sun to shine.

I hope in your next post to see your secretary.
You know who I am talking about, right?๐Ÿ˜‰

All the best for you, Jeff.

Diana.

Yes, Diana--his name is Shadow!

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
Thank you for making this favor for me. Yes, I was talking about Shadow. Good to see him.โค

I mentioned it earlier in another post, but I like the new profile pic!

Shadow woofs HELLO!

Woofs๐Ÿถ Hello back to him.๐Ÿ˜‚

He smiled! you're AWESOME. Diana! Have a GREAT day!๐Ÿ˜Ž

๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
Thanks. You too, Jeff.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž

Looks like you have everything you need and then some. I have the same issue it's not with vehicles though it is girls' clothes as my two girls and wife don't seem to know how to stop buying clothes. Then there are the shoes and the ten thousand that I feel we have. It's cold and we got the inventory done today so back to the real work tomorrow I hope.
Douglas

Yep, Douglas, I feel your pain, my friend! Good luck with work tomorrow!

Jeff๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š

At least we can shut our eyes at night and sleep well.
Douglas

I feel your pocket book pain, as well, Doug.
Sometimes that an addiction...

My mom knew how to handle our gotta haves!
You want?? Earn it!!
Suddenly my list came down to several items, and Yes, I bought them.
My first purchase...2.75, for a Madame Alexander doll. I was in second grade.
I still have her.
Barb

Yea times have changed as far as cost of living. I had to earn my way as well. Had many jobs in high school.
Douglas

You bet we can, Douglas!๐Ÿ˜Ž

That's how my mom was too, Barb! I've been working since age 7--no kidding!

Yes we can, Douglas! Yes we can!

And look what we gained from the experiences!!
Gold, Doug!
Experience can't be bought!
Barb

I'm no stranger to hard work; however the kids THESE days? ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„

And loving it!
New experiences! "Jack of all experiences...Master of some!!"
Barb

I threw my brother's paper route in the snow and on bikes!
My sister had one block and I had the other!
My block had Mafia , Tony Jaciloni!
Biggest in Detroit!
First home I ever saw with 24 hrs monitoring. 1964...! Built in swimming pool, too! Those were rare for Michigan especially in our town, right on the Lake!
Doing a bit of time traveling here!;)
Barb

I like that!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š

That's really cool--Mafia, eh? I'm envisioning it in my mind! Started assisting a friend's parents and brother who had a motor route in Dallas--got $5 for rolling news papers and bagging them if the weather warranted, plus rode bicycles with baskets to carry excess papers on the smaller routes.

Curse of entitlement!!
Too much hovering and lack of accepting personal responsibility!
Inflated EGO's, caring more about impressing!
Barb
My pet peeve if I choose to Dwell on the things I can't change, so...Nah!
Prayer for them!
Barb

Very true but it still annoys me! But yes ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

Summer if my brother was gone at camp, Mom would drive me around, after a 20 minute folding session, early 5 AM at the breakfast table.

My Houston Post experience?Delivering to our future president!
George H W Busch, as Vice President, before the Whitehouse...Circa 1979!
Another time travel to ...
Barb

Mafia was all over! We had Italian offered for one year!
I was the only one who was not Italian, but had lived there, so I spoke better than most in class!
Gina, Jaciloni, Tony's Grand daughter was in my class!
Licavoli and Rubio and a Greek Gus Galacacides! All on my block! Ha!
First camera in Light poles too!
Barb

Half-heartedness in service these days... Major annoyance!
Cost my glasses company a full refund! $375!
I cut my time lost, and gained peace of mind!
No, second and third chances, sorry, folks!! Can bait and run!
Barb

Wow--that's pretty interesting stuff!๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Wow, you have lived an incredible life--think of the book you could write about this--if you haven't already written one, Barb! Your memoir!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

I really did put write that book on a list this week.
I'm leaning toward the lighter side of spirituality, as a topic of my own unique walk...
Travels with Michi... death through eyes of a dog... "Autobiographical, as well, as Mom was Leaving this mission.
Discipline to chunk on the time.
Love to talk about ways to start, Jeff!
I'm thinking just chapters that pop into mind, and organizing as they seems to go along themes of time and travels...
" HELP! I need someone, No not just anyone! Help!..."
Barb

You are right. I never had the chance to beg my parents for money I loved to work and I still do. Now I get up early before work to come and say hello to people and read some posts. Gonna be the best year yet.
Douglas

I agree with you too, Douglas!

Love the "Beatlesque" ending to your message, Barb!

I used the mind map idea for last night's Brain Dump, Jeff!
Remember when I said, Goodnight?
Not!
I brain stormed, and...!!
Started with ME in the center, and have some 30+ ideas all with branching...Took some branches to another page, and created mini-groups!
4 pages later with a slew of ideas, down with pen and paper, I headed to bed...2:30!
What fun!!
Barb
- got the HELP!, too! Wink!

Better than stopping by FB, Doug??
Barb

That's some awesome progress, Barb--you must've gotten some more โ˜•โ˜•โ˜•โ˜•โ˜•โ˜•

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

I don't really go on Facebook as there is really nothing I can learn there. Just a bunch of people complaining about complaining.
Douglas

True, Douglas--a virtual "Jerry Springer" show!

I only like to go on there to get a good laugh.
Douglas

It IS funny on occasion!

Strangely, Jeff, no more coffee!!
Mind was popping and had to use that momentum!!
If don't lose, you lose it!!
Are you back to the Arctic, yet?
Sounds like same pattern from last week.
Barb

Most of the snow is gone, but there's supposed to be some more tonight!

Looks pretty nasty. We're in the low 50's...
And it's been drizzly all day.
Day for outing, and working with this gal...
Recovery meeting and work!
No, writing tonight! Sometimes these spiritual experiences are draining, to me.
I get so excited to see folks get this stuff, and find better ways of dealing with a crisis. Brain dump from last night, too...
Low cell batt... Mind forensic shows...always looking for dates of victims and preps!
Another hidden passion... Not quite sure what I'll do with this, but...fodder for another book?? Perhaps...
See you at the next WAtering hole!
Been over to see Reid's cockroaches, and had to leave that party!! Ha-haa! Too, darn funny!
WA has many twisted characters! LMAO!!
I need another tissue for my eyes!! Ha-haa!
"I'm picking up good vibrations..."
Barb

Are you going to sleep thinking of the Beach Boys?

Ha-haa!!
Just what I needed, as I return to the WAtercooler.
By the time I hit the pillow, ..."Awesome God"... and block!
Happy Hour w/ Jay! Trying to play catch on 2 days...
Later, Jeff!
Barb

Rest well, my friend!

Adios, amigo!
Pasta, manana!
Barb

Hasta...spellcheck just learned a new word... Tee-hee!
Barb

I was looking forward to an Italian dish the next day after your closing greeting, Barb! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ™„

Yes, me too!
Power of suggestion!
Hey, Jeff... What's your pen name?
I'm at Half-priced books...Looking for La Tzu...Tao to Ching!... thought I'd give a. Peek!
Barb

Mine are all on Amazon kindle, Barb, but my pen name is J. Lynn Brown.

Okay! Jeff!
Ended up the Lao Tzu is available at another store, by the only "Spiritual" book store, now in town... so will check out that one , soon.
Working on a mystery...Find my food for thought!
Not impressed, so far, with to vibe of spirituality, but take what you can get, Huh!
Young folks, not knowing anything about what they are selling, unfortunately, is what I've experienced.
Make it a great day, Jeff!
Barb

You too, Barb--heck, make it a great weekend!

Working on a masterpiece, Jeff!

I'm trying!

Jeff, so true!
Btw, do you have a vehicle for me? I am in need of one, since I just sold my 2017 Honda Civic to have money to pay for a medical procedure I have to have. Now my son and I are on a hunt to find something suitable for me to drive.

Barbara, I'm on my 3rd Honda CR-V!!
Last one traded in at 250000 miles! ;)
Barb

Barb,
I had only 14.7K on the one I just sold.

Say what!!!??
Ha-haa!
And why, may I ask are you looking for a new car, except to get off the ground, with the low chassis... snow it a bear in a Civic. Had one of those back in 1985. Did not maintain, and blow out many a cluck and burned out engine. LOL
Next car ...I met Dale, my trusted mechanic!
I learned a very valuable lesson, the hard way, but, Ha-ha!...What else is new! LMAO
Barb

Just did a couple of lock jobs today and am over at another house I just got back an ex-wife cleaning it out--long story for another day!

Are you having a good day, Barb?

Jeff๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž

I can't wait!!
Someone mentioned, I could do a sit-com!
I love that idea and need a collabator,
co-author and whatever! LOL
Combine stories, and we'll both be brusting a gut!!
Laughter is good for the soul!!
Hope she's taking some of her stuff!, or are you doing a Tom Sawyer, and delegating?!
LMAO, really!!
Barb

Barbara,
Sorry I missed the fact that is being paid for!!!
Look for a used Honda. 2018 or nine should
still have low mileage.
Happy hunting!

Do they actually need to be drivable, Barb? ๐Ÿ™„--seriously, though--these are all basket cases! "Projects" for another day, sis!

Those Hondas last forever--the body will rust out and it will still be running--very good quality, Barb!

The new bodies are fiberglass or something... flexible rubber something that doesn't rust!
Can't be bumped out and require complete panel if replaced, but can't complain about that!!
B

No--that sounds pretty good!

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž

Awesome vehicle...CR-V. Just the right height. Not pulling yourself out, like the Civic, our grabbing hold to hoist yourself up, like pickup!
Learned that when I was transporting my wheelchair bound mom... during her last days. I'd stand her up and dance her around to seat...One two three, and she sat easily.
Fond memories of Mom...
Barb

I don't have any that are driveable, Sis--they're all ones in need of repairs!

That does sound like some fond memories, Barb!

Well, that's not a problem, if it doesn't cost too much to repair. My son is a mechanic.

These are basket cases, Sis!

Okay, so why no scrap them for the parts and metal?

That's a great share Jeff. So many gems here inside! Awesome.

Steve

Thanks, Steve--and that's only a portion of two of the ten rooms in that house!
