Hello Everyone--Here is a quick update on my domain sale!
We are halfway through the auction, now 7 days left! I have nothing else to report. I do have a bit more info on domain sales, but I haven't gotten it ready to share yet!

We are so glad that u are educating the whole community on Flippa and Domain sales. Thank u.
Just a question Jeff ... why have you priced your domain at just $50? I am sure it could be more.
Secondly, after this auction period is over, your domain stays on the Flippa SALE list for 10 years. So the auction doesn't matter so much. It's more of a selling-gimmick of Flippa.
Thirdly, the buyers for your domain will be very very specific, and therefore few. Because of J&J and locksmith. Someone called JJ, who is a locksmith, or has something to do with that trade, would only buy it.
A domain like surfingholiday.com or top10gifts.com would sell so much faster.

No not at all, Aparna! If it doesn't sell, I will either relist it or let it expire in December! It was a domain I was no longer using, and thus a test case before I place a domain that I feel would do better! It IS a specific trade and, therefore, limited in its cope of buyers, but I would also point out that surfingholiday.com might also be limited in its scope of buyers. If I had actually purchased j&jlocksmith;.com, which was already taken, I would have likely kept the domain. It was taken and valued at several thousand dollars at the time. I added the hyphens and got what I wanted and THEN read that they were not advisable! 🙄 In fact j&j 'anything' is highly valued for some reason! Thank you for your input!
