I am working with Amazon as a affiliate there, they give me links to copy and paste to my website and all I get when transferring them over is a bunch of code that I have no id

I was having difficulty earlier this week where the link didn't work. But when I used the shortened Amazon link it did work. When your link is generated by amazon, instead of selecting and copying, use the drop down menu to the right. There are two tabs on the menu, use the shorter link.

I will try that again, it works once in awhile but not consistently. it is irratating

Your post edit page has two tabs, Visual and Text. You write your post using the Visual tab so you can see what it's going to look like. The Text tab contains the code for everything that you write. Code always goes into the Text tab not the Visual.

I have tried that, it did work, then all a sudden, it stopped working all together

Hi,
When you get the code from amazon, if you are trying to place it in a post, you have to enter it into the text/code part of the post. Just click on the place where you want the link or picture to appear and paste the code into there.
Another way to add a link without pasting it into the text is to click on the link button, then paste the code/link into the box.
I hope this helps. If you need clarification, please let me know.

I tried that, and I think it worked once, but wont anymore. Thanks
